Great choice! Very clean, coffee/tea in the lobby, little outdoor pool. Comfy beds (yay for their mattress toppers) Check in was great, the guy at the front desk (I forget the name, started with J) was a sweetheart (offered hot water for my tea because it wasn’t boiling hot) Breakfast was good, eggs were better than your average hotel (whatever they do - they did it right), they have TX shape waffle maker too :)

The property was in great shape and very clean. I do think $75 pet fee is a little much for our 8 pound dog. Most of the Hamptons are $50.

Not a luxury hotel inspite of price. Not a comfortable chair anywhere but the bed was nice. Very complete breakfast buffet, guest laundry, and exercise room. Not a fan of their TV offering as the cable service did not have a guide so you need to flip through all 100 channels to see what is showing. So, nothing fancy but friendly staff, clean facilities, and most desired services.

The hotel seemed much updated since my last stay several years ago. The king room was comfortable and clean. My little dog was welcome without question. Snacks are available for purchase. Breakfast and coffee are available in the AM. .

The front desk employees were not very friendly. The housekeeping staff does not knock before entering she just walked in on us. Web description shows theres a hottub but there is not. Very nice and clean hotel with good beds and cold ac.

Second stay when visiting Lufkin Tx . Cleanest hotel I have stayed in Lufkin Tx. Easy check in and easy check out process . Nice breakfast and was given water upon check in. Also has a nice gym enjoyed my stay.

We were impressed by how clean everything was, we saw housekeeping dusting the high areas, pressure washing the air conditioning units, and cleaning the dining room chairs. Staff went out of their way to smile and engage customers. Overall an excellent stay.

We did not stay at the property. We were given a room and it smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was nonsmoking. Then the nice lady at the front gave us another room. And it had a terrible smell of someone had shampooed the carpet and left the room enclosed with no air on. Very musky and damp smelling. The front desk lady was very nice and did not charge us, as they shouldn’t. But was very disappointed considering the price of the room was over 200 a night.

The staff are friendly and very helpful with excellent directions and suggestions. The breakfast was outstanding. The room was comfortably furnished, but it was uncomfortably humid, perhaps because of an incredibly noisy room-style air conditioner that cycled on and off every 3 minutes through the night! Something is very wrong there. In the 3 minutes that it was quiet, the traffic noise coming from a busy street about 100 feet away, sounded as though it was right outside the window. The bathroom sink faucet did not provide cold water after the first 10 seconds of use. It was all warm or hot. Also, the sink drain needed a clean out as it filled up when you were just washing your hands. And the entry door stuck, perhaps because of the high humidity in the room.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was so slanted that there was a 6 inch gap at the top of the cabinet holding the tv, it was flush against the wall at the bottom. The doors and drawers wouldn't stay closed. Lots of highway traffic noise. It was extremely clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good.

Check-in was an hour wait after I was told 15-20 minutes. Then they said the room was ready but had to wait another 10 minutes for them to get my keys. Then, there was no cart available for me to haul my belongings to my room (another 15 minute wait). The lady that prepared breakfast in the morning was the bright spot. She always spoke, everything was clean and well prepared. On a very noisy highway and was hard to get a good nights sleep - a lot of truck traffic using jake brakes.

The room was big with 2 king size beds. The shower was walk in with a shower chair. The parking was just outside the room by the window. It was very quiet and we slept very well. It was convenient to every place in town we went to. It was very well priced.
