Room was very clean and spacious for my little family! Even though this time we didn’t use outside grills to barbecue, there was one in every corner with tables and chairs, and in the pool area there were even like 4 bbq grills! Very nice place, will definitely be booking with them again in the future!

What I absolutely loved was one pool was kept at a cooler temperature. Coming off of the beach on 100 degree day was amazing to slip into some cool water. I also really liked having our own little patio just to sit and watch the world go by😎

The two pools were great to utilize in between beach time and visiting the shops and restaurants. The beach is in walking distance on Avenue G, but highly recommend a golf cart experience to enjoy more time to relax and ease of getting around. The hotel has units to rent on site. Also helps keep the sand out of your vehicle. Staff helped us check in late the first day with no issues. The room rates were better for our group of six than the local Airbnbs. We rented a pet friendly unit with with a kitchenette with stove top, microwave and full size fridge which worked out great. Not a full set of kitchenware, but enough for us to eat in some and dine out the rest. The vibe at this place is relaxed and family friendly. We will be staying here again when we come next time.

What a nice property compared to a hotel! Bed was comfortable, AC worked well! It was nice having a real kitchen. Its basically a one bedroom apartment. 2 small pools; one was shallower for kids. It was also nice and quiet. I only heard my neighbor once when they dropped something heavy. Its about 3 blocks from the beach in downtown Port A. I will definitely be back!

There are roaches in the room, pots & pans are very used, the furniture very outdated, carpets are old, ceiling fans have a lot of dust, the only good things about this place is the convenience to the beach & the AC very good, but we won't ever be staying here again & will not recommend to anyone.

Room was not ready upon check in bc they were behind in cleaning. But I feel like maybe they rushed the cleaning because of that. We found two small insects in the bed sheets and a roach in the closet. The floor was also very sandy. The pool water was warm. Staff was friendly.

Paid $600 for two nights and expected at least basic cleanliness. Instead, we walked into a moldy, dusty, and poorly maintained unit that smelled stale and unclean. There was trash left from the previous guests, patched and peeling walls, and thick layers of dust on vents and surfaces. The A/C return was so clogged it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, if not years. My wife ended up congested and stuffy within hours of being here. This place calls itself a “resort” but offers zero service beyond a narrow one-hour towel swap window. Guests are told to wash their own dishes before leaving, which is fine — but if you’re going to make guests clean up, at least start them off with a clean and healthy unit. For the price, this was unacceptable. We will not be returning, and I strongly recommend anyone with allergies, asthma, or any expectations of cleanliness to look elsewhere.

We had a late check in at this property so there wasn’t a front desk person to speak with. Upon check-in the room was not what was expected. We tried to wash our feet off bc there was sand on the floor and our shower didn’t even come on. The water was dripping but you couldn’t shower. The ceiling in bathroom had black mold. The refrigerator was dirty freezer matched. The bedroom wall had holes in it and all over our room did not look clean. When I spoke with front desk person at check out it was just a “I’m sorry we have plumbing issues”… this place takes $100 for just incidentals at check in.. I expected to at least have a clean room and a shower that worked. This was my first time in this area and I wasn’t impressed

TV missing in living room, coffee left in pot, toe nail clippings around beds, candy on floor. Super busy restaurants, no one answering phones for delivery or pick up so bring food. Just dirty feeling all around, but great beds, pillows, blankets & great AC!!

The staff were easy to work with and tried to be helpful. The room we were put in was not what was booked. We were moved to a different room that was a bit more what was advertised. After moving to the new room we found the floors were filthy! You had to wear shoes or your feet were black. We had to wash our feet before getting in bed the first night. I asked to have the floor mopped while we were out for the day. It was mopped but that left a greasy/slimy mess on the floor. We place towels on the floor too keep our feet clean and to keep from slipping. There were roaches on the walls and cleaning was sub-par. The coffee pot looked to have never been cleaned. Then there was the furniture. The couch was so uncomfortable we chose to sit at the dinning table. The bathroom floors were so dirty even after mopping I took pictures to complain. The cleaning fee was removed from my bill. I was displeased with the charge of a 5 star hotel when we received a 2 star motel.

The location is good, super convenient to shops, restaurants & the beach. Our room was very musty, there was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and around the tub. The furnishings were very old, the linens were old and very thin. This would be a great place with some renovations. The grounds weren’t kept up, there was cat food sitting around on the ground in piles randomly, the pool had a good amount of dirt/leaves and even someone’s fingernails on the edge. We stayed here with a few other couples & we all had the same experience with our rooms. The black mold I think is dangerous for people to be breathing in for extended periods of time. Unfortunately, we won’t be going back.

Walking distance to the beach. We were on the top floor which gets the best sunsets and had two balconies. But we had to move to this space, (at no extra cost) because the original suite we were offered was unclean and the smell was terrible. There was mould on the closet wall in the bedroom and that added to the smell. Dust on the ceiling and wall in that area, so no deep clean for a long time. Windows were dirty, fridge was dirty. Had to ask for toilet paper and only one fork in the cutlery drawer. Cigarette butts, garbage and a bunch of hair on the balcony. So a bunch of things that put together made us feel like leaving. Fortunately we were able to change rooms to something much cleaner, more equipped. Its an older resort and it shows.

I was disgusted how filthy. I reserved a queen suite and was forced to stay in an efficiency. I was downgraded with no attempt to refund what I actually pre- paid for. Will never stay there again.

I think this is ok and very basic. There is zero decor in the room not even one picture, nor sofa pillows, nor rugs NOTHING. it’s very stale, the tub was moldy and yes the kitchen is equipped with 4 forks, 2 knives and 4 spoons none which match. If you want BASIC this is it… the pool area is pretty old and filled with loud screaming children… it’s not terrible but I wouldn’t go back. The best part is its proximity to beach and restaurant next door. Blackout curtains would be nice along with pocket doors in bedroom to separate it from rest of space.

I originally booked a King Suite with view of pool. Unfortunately, the toom had no working A/C, was warm and smelled moldy and mildewey. Went back to the office and they moved us to another Kjng Suite same building. Identical problem! Went back to the office and had staff go with us to check out the rooms.. they agreed there may be an issue with the a/c and air circulation so went back to the office to see if there was an alternate solution. We wound up with a Queen suite instead. Room was clean abd comfortable but not what i wanted. Sent in a complaint to Management and did not receive any response!

The location is fantastic, and our kids enjoyed the pool area. They had comfortable chairs on the patio outside the room, and it was a great place to sit in the morning and evenings. The facilities are kept pretty clean, but they are getting old. Everything worked in our room, but my parents' shower didn't work in theirs. Kitchenette is not really stocked, just a few basics like silverware but no plastic cups to take to the pool area (since glass is prohibited) or plates. Beds were fairly comfortable at least!

The front desk person was very helpful and efficient. The room was nicely updated, fresh and clean. Suggestions - Could have used some blackout curtains at night. Memorial Day weekend brought lots of families and kids screaming and running around all hours of the day and night.

The furnishings were absolutely ancient.. like bought as cheap ad possible from a bulk sale of used 70’s furniture… well used by throngs of partygoers.. the worst though.. was the lights BLARING through the blinds making it impossible to sleep through the 240 dollar night. Stomping guests above all night… screaming children in the pool as you wish you could still sleep…sand everywhere..

$20 a day for housekeeping is ridiculous. They only come and ask if you need towels. Housekeepers only available from 9-11 am and are instructed not to enter room only knock on door between those hours. $25 charge if you leave any trash in room after checkout. Read the fine print.

The house keeping times were 9-11 am which on vacation is usually when we are still asleep. There’s this magnet on the fridge that says a cleaning fee will apply “IF” room is left messy so we cleaned up and washed everything and had no house keeping all visit. And still got charged. Then asked about it and the office people said they know about the magnet but haven’t taken it down. The place itself is fine for a vacation but the transparency of their policies is horrible. That $100 hold was not expected and really made us re consider staying there.

The location was ideal and definitely the sort of accommodations you want for a beach visit. I thought the stay was about to be ruined when our room had a major leak in the bathroom from a ceiling AC unit. But thankfully the staff and management were eager and quick to get us into a similar room nearby. Overall very friendly and helpful staff and great digs. Would most definitely stay here again and most likely will for our next beach visit

We made a last minute reservation to go for the weekend. Booked the room for the price listed. Gave them a call to find out their office hours due to a late arrival (9:15) she informed they closed the office at 11. Received a call at 7:45 saying they were closing early and that I need to provide my DL and a credit card via email. I was unable to get access to my cc so I emailed my DL and she told me to come by in the morning and provide my CC for "incidentals". Upon arrival, the room was in disorder. There was no TV in the entertainment center in the living room and the TV in the bedroom did not work, there was no toilet paper or paper towels. Not exactly sure why they needed a CC for incidentals because none were available or provided. When I went to the office the next morning she also charged me a pet fee for which I was not aware. The listing said it was a pet friendly hotel but never mentioned a pet fee. Very disappointed in the place, we have stayed there before and had a great expirence. The employees were partaking in some illegal activities while working on "cleaning" the rooms also. Not sure if we'll return

This hotel was surprisingly quaint. It is very near the ferry landing, convenient to all the shops and restaurants, and also close to the beach. It is composed of several separate "houses" which are each painted a cheery/beachy color. Each room has its own balcony with two wooden adirondack chairs, which is very handy for hanging wet towels to dry. The rooms were a good size, not cramped, and the furniture was nicer than average, and sturdy. The bathroom was also very good size, with beadboard on the walls. There was a pantry, and even a dishwasher! We were only there for two nights, but it would have been very convenient for even a longer stay.

The cottage was lovely and cozy. Technically, within walking distance to the beach, but if you want to take stuff with you, you’d want to drive. It is a little rundown, but very clean. They rent golf carts on site. We didn’t take advantage of that, but will keep it in mind. My only complaint is the bed, and I realize that is subjective. The mattress was VERY soft and after two nights of sleeping (or tossing and turning) on it, I had back discomfort for a week. Despite that mattress, we loved the location and feel of the cottage. We might even stay there again!

Loved staying here was like a little apartment.. we did have a scare of a roach on our last night that creeped in through the air conditioner but other than that it was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful . I did wish they had served breakfast but for the price was good.

I was charged an extra cleaning fee and I never got my room cleaned. I had to go get clean towels and take out trash,etc. On the website and conformation it said there was continental breakfast and there wasn't even coffee available for the guest.
