The first 2 nights were incredibly busy and public use the beach club there. The Mia resort right across the resort had their music so loud until 10pm. But the rest of the stay was quieter. Great location for beach and getting to Hidalgo street and restaurants, staff Mayte, Alexander, Juan, Luis were incredible.

The property was beautiful, well kept, and the rooms nicely decorated. We have a ground floor suite with private terrace and pool overlooking the beach and ocean. Unfortunately there was unplanned construction happening above our terrace so it was unusable for a couple of days - the management team was quick to respond to our concerns and provided adequate compensation, take great care of our needs. The beach club and pool were immaculate, a wonderful place to relax. Great DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. Menu prices are expensive, but the food is top notch and well portioned - on par with most of the restaurants on the island. Great location, right on Playa Norte, and within walking distance to all the downtown shops, cafes and bars. My only complaint is the unnecessarily large MIA hotel across the water that obstructs the view of the sea for most of the beach front rooms.

This is the beach you want to be at. The bar side pool, the vibe, the food, the beach, the beachside beds, and staff bringing you food and cocktails all day. A tru place to lounge and relax. Very attentive staff. Location, location. I've been to 10 different places on Isla Mujeres. this is our 4th time back to this particular spot.

Liked, convenient to the beach. Loved the staff at the restaurant. Disliked, you couldn't access the beach from your room, pictures are deceiving, it's about an 8-foot drop. Didn't use the pool, wasn't cleaned everyday, patio in the shade and pool was cold. Disliked, the room smelled like urine in one corner, had house-keeping remove a jute rug and mop the tile, it didn't help.

Amazing! The plunge pool suite was beautiful with a view of Playa Norte from your own private plunge pool. The staff is amazing! The hotel is part of Guru beach club, so the staff reserved a beach bed for us everyday. The restaurant is also very good. The hotel is walking distance to the shops and restaurants on hildago street. 10/10 stay would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Lotus Beach for our honeymoon for a week and it was fantastic! The location is unbeatable, and the hotel and staff members are awesome. Everyone was super friendly and helpful for whatever we needed. It was very clean and everything seemed to be very new/well taken care of. It has a beach day club that ends up drawing in people not staying at the hotel, but we didnt mind as we were able to meet some really nice couples and learn some new key places and restaurants on the island. The hotel also allows its guests to reserve the beds so that you dont have to worry about not having somewhere to sit throughout your stay. The food and drinks at the hotel were also great. We booked with the continental breakfast as part of our stay, and it was probably one of the best included continental breakfasts we have ever had. I highly recommend Lotus Beach if you can fit it into your budget!

Lotus beach hotel is a great place to stay.located on a great beach walkable to many restaurants and different beach clubs! The beach club that’s on site guru is nice. The staff at guru was on top of your drinks and food at all times! The people at the front desk are excellent! David took care of my questions and requests before arriving through texts. The girl at the front desk is also excellent! Extremely helpful in suggestions for restaurants or any other questions you have! Definitely a great time at lotus! Thanks again front desk team!!!

A very pleasant beachside experience. A little more luxury would be nice in view of the high room rates - small adjustments like a fully inclusive breakfast and finer beach amenities like beach towels and more comfortable chairs would do the trick. The Lotus is a great little place on the best beach in Isla Mujeres. Staff is extraordinarily accomodating, friendly and helpful with any needs. Would reccomend the plunge pool rooms. Great patio and the pool overlooks the beach. Place is very quiet in the morning and evening. Rooms were clean and AC works great. Close to Centro to walk but far enough you dont get the noise.

From the moment we walked in and were greeted by name, we felt at home at Lotus for the week! The accommodations are beautiful and clean. The location is HEAVEN and the staff are kind, funny, notice little details and are incredibly accommodating. We’re already planning our next trip back.

Simply amazing!! Beautiful location, super friendly staff, clean and safe! This was our second time to Isla and this is easily our new favorite hotel and beach club. We were able to avoid the spring break party vibe on this side, yet it was still active and energetic. The views from the room are breathtaking and their WiFi was reliable and strong enough to support hours of video calls. I highly recommend this hotel!!

DO NOT STAY HERE if you’re looking for any kind of decent treatment and room. Bugs in the room, you’ll be told to throw your used toilet paper in the trash can, no decent internet and no TV option through hotel. It’s in a sketchy area at the far, cheap end of the island and security is lax. Our “ocean view” room was a joke barely could see the water. Just an old bridge and trees right in front. 😕 Everything closes at the hotel at 6pm and the included breakfast is a block away at another hotel. The plunge pool on the patio is a like warm bathroom filled with old water and leaves/dirt. They advertise shuttle service from the airport. Also false. You’ll pay and arrange it and the ferry yourself. Adults only? They served small kids food and drinks on the beach from the hotel. The beach area is totally public and includes 5 hard chairs. We reserved for 5 days and left after 2 to go to a REAL hotel that doesn’t falsely advertise and is clean.

We have stayed at Lotus several times and we love everything about it. They are located on the beautiful beach but within walking distance to the market area for shopping and restaurants. The beach club which is part of the hotel has a nice pool with delicious food and drinks. The staff is amazing, they are very friendly and work non stop keeping the hotel clean and comfortable for the guests. Alexander the General manager is awesome, he spoke to us everyday making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Lotus Beach hotel!

The Hotel didn’t have wifi in the room. The conditions were good not great. The staff was the best about the whole experience. The breakfast was bad. The fruit was warm and the coffee was lukewarm. They do a good job of keeping the grounds clean. I would recommend this place and would stay again!

Too expensive for what you get. I liked that the hotel was close to the beach. The room was ok, definitely not what I was expecting. The other hotel Mia was so noisy at night with loud music. The pictures and videos they have on their website look better than when you see it in person.

Simply amazing!! Beautiful location, super friendly staff, clean and safe! This was our second time to Isla and this is easily our new favorite hotel and beach club. We were able to avoid the spring break party vibe on this side, yet it was still active and energetic. The views from the room are breathtaking and their WiFi was reliable and strong enough to support hours of video calls. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Beauty boutique hotel o the prettiest beach on the island. Easy to walk to anything you need. The staff was amazing! They knew your name by literally the first day. Very accommodating of their guests. Food was delicious with beautiful presentation. Prices were good for alcohol and food. Our room was very large and nice. We had the one with the pool. We are already planning a return trip. Highly recommend this place!

The staff was above amazing. It was my wife's birthday while we were there, and completely unexpected they even decorated our room while we were out for her birthday, also providing a full birthday cake. They were always there to help and without any hassel privided guidance and tips. Just over all an amazing stay!

From the moment I arrived later than expected, Alexander, the General Manager, did everything possible to make my stay memorable. He was always available with suggestions, ideas, and help. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Sol and the rest of the restaurant/bar staff were always available and friendly. Rutilo and the other housekeeping staff were always smiling and available. I would give them all ten stars and, if possible, give Alexander 100!! I look forward to going back soon. Thank you all for a great week.

Lotus beach hotel is a great place to stay.located on a great beach walkable to many restaurants and different beach clubs! The beach club that’s on site guru is nice. The staff at guru was on top of your drinks and food at all times! The people at the front desk are excellent! David took care of my questions and requests before arriving through texts. The girl at the front desk is also excellent! Extremely helpful in suggestions for restaurants or any other questions you have! Definitely a great time at lotus! Thanks again front desk team!!!

The first 2 nights were incredibly busy and public use the beach club there. The Mia resort right across the resort had their music so loud until 10pm. But the rest of the stay was quieter. Great location for beach and getting to Hidalgo street and restaurants, staff Mayte, Alexander, Juan, Luis were incredible.

The property was beautiful, well kept, and the rooms nicely decorated. We have a ground floor suite with private terrace and pool overlooking the beach and ocean. Unfortunately there was unplanned construction happening above our terrace so it was unusable for a couple of days - the management team was quick to respond to our concerns and provided adequate compensation, take great care of our needs. The beach club and pool were immaculate, a wonderful place to relax. Great DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. Menu prices are expensive, but the food is top notch and well portioned - on par with most of the restaurants on the island. Great location, right on Playa Norte, and within walking distance to all the downtown shops, cafes and bars. My only complaint is the unnecessarily large MIA hotel across the water that obstructs the view of the sea for most of the beach front rooms.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at Lotus. From being greeted by the Manager, to the wait staff, to the housekeeping, every part of our stay was perfect. We were aways attentively served, and warmly welcomed. The breakfast was perfect, the location is absolutely amazing, the hotel and beach club are absolutely top notch, and the food here is the best we have had on all of othe island, and this was our 8th trip to Isla Mujeres. We can't wait to return. Thanks to Lotus for making our trip such a memorable one!

I don’t think I can say enough good things about this resort, not only is it on the most beautiful beach in Isla Mujeres but it’s still tucked off where it feels secluded and quiet, the staff was amazing Karen who works the front desk during the day, went out of her way to help us with spa treatments, recommendations, and was really such a pleasure to be around, she was very personable and you could tell she loved what she did and she was happy to help in anyway she could, the Lotus was also walking distance to amazing food and shopping, the staff was amazing, our room was beautiful, and we already booked our next stay, couldn’t recommend this place more.

Before our arrival, Alexander, the general manager, provided us with excellent service. He even reached out a few days prior to inquire about our transportation details, known allergies, and reason for travel, leaving a positive first impression. One morning during breakfast, Alexander joined us at our ocean-view table and recommended some amazing places to visit and restaurants to try. One of the recommended restaurants was Muelle 7, which had 5-star service and delicious food. The beach was conveniently located and had a great DJ playing on Saturday afternoon. However, the only downside was the alcoholic beverages. They were weak and overpriced, averaging between $13-16 dollars and tasting like plain juice. Despite that, we had an overall great experience, and it all started with the small details of care.

We stayed at Lotus Beach for our honeymoon for a week and it was fantastic! The location is unbeatable, and the hotel and staff members are awesome. Everyone was super friendly and helpful for whatever we needed. It was very clean and everything seemed to be very new/well taken care of. It has a beach day club that ends up drawing in people not staying at the hotel, but we didnt mind as we were able to meet some really nice couples and learn some new key places and restaurants on the island. The hotel also allows its guests to reserve the beds so that you dont have to worry about not having somewhere to sit throughout your stay. The food and drinks at the hotel were also great. We booked with the continental breakfast as part of our stay, and it was probably one of the best included continental breakfasts we have ever had. I highly recommend Lotus Beach if you can fit it into your budget!

DO NOT STAY HERE if you’re looking for any kind of decent treatment and room. Bugs in the room, you’ll be told to throw your used toilet paper in the trash can, no decent internet and no TV option through hotel. It’s in a sketchy area at the far, cheap end of the island and security is lax. Our “ocean view” room was a joke barely could see the water. Just an old bridge and trees right in front. 😕 Everything closes at the hotel at 6pm and the included breakfast is a block away at another hotel. The plunge pool on the patio is a like warm bathroom filled with old water and leaves/dirt. They advertise shuttle service from the airport. Also false. You’ll pay and arrange it and the ferry yourself. Adults only? They served small kids food and drinks on the beach from the hotel. The beach area is totally public and includes 5 hard chairs. We reserved for 5 days and left after 2 to go to a REAL hotel that doesn’t falsely advertise and is clean.

Hotel pequeño de 6 habitaciónes en la mejor playa! Realmente es un paraiso. El servicio muy bueno todos muy atentos sobre todo Ulises de recepción hizo todo porque pasaramos una vacación hermosa y super atendidos. La habitación super linda con alberca privada, super cómoda. Pero definitivamente lo mejor de la propiedad es la playa en la que está. De aguas poco profundas cristalinas. Se puede snorkelear en la zona o solo disfrutar de este paraiso.

The location was perfect. The beach club was great the first couple days. Then it was like they got used to us being there and stopped asking if we need anything. The rooms were very clean the private plunge pool was also very clean. Love the stay.

Lotus: Clean rooms. Front desk is very informative. Taxi service is usually readily available right outside Lotus. They also have their own golf carts to rent. Spa treatment was great. Guru restaurant food at lotus was great (two plates we ordered ceviche and the black angus burger with truffle fries - best truffle fries I’ve had anywhere, ask for the habanero hot sauce it’s delicious) although they close the beach access from lotus relatively early in the evening you still have access to it through the outside, exiting Lotus. (Public access) Lotus staff can also help you book excursions, ask them about them. Prices vary around the island but not by much so it’s convenient to just do it where you already are staying. Getting there: If you have luggage I suggest get a taxi there from the ferry, should be around 50-100 pesos. Another option is to get someone to wheel your luggage for you and they work for tip.
