The staff were great, concierge, front desk, housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool had an amazing Canton tower and river view. If you are a smoker and love to drink I would recommend the Tian Bar. However if you are a non smoker I would suggest you to stay away. You can definitely smell the smoke as soon as you walk out of the elevator. Not the most pleasant environment in a five star hotel. There’s tons of food options in the underground of the ifc building. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast buffet unless it’s free, you can find better options elsewhere.

It's fancy top-notch hotel in Guangzhou. Everything is good except the room smell probably due to newly painted walls. It was an unhealthy chemical odor and cannot be got rid of because the windows cannot be opened. We stayed at 96th floor so you can't let fresh air into the rooms nor can you make the smell go away through the door because the doorway is also a closed space. I did not have good sleep for three days.

Paid for a renovated room and was given an older room. They did not offer upgrade only downgrade, very disappointed with that. Room was big and spacious but had an odorous smell to it like mold. Toilet was not working properly. For the Four Seasons we expected way better.

You are in the best area of the city, normally this hotel is very good but it was so so this time, the breakfast buffet was full because of the fair with a 7-10 minutes waiting to get a table, also the service inside of the buffet was bad, 10 minutes to get a lemon and olive oil I already finished eating, 15 minute wait for a omelet to be ready, on the other hand the room was not smelling nice and the service this time was not the best, my room wasn't ready at the check in time that was 3pm I had to wait like 20 more minutes for my room to be ready, remember the cost of this hotel is high, you expect everything to be perfect but this time it was far from perfect.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, überraschend ist doch, dass man bei grösserem Andrang anstehen und auf einen Platz warten muss. For 450$ a night, I was quite disappointed. The room was 7909 in which two huge columns blocking the outside view. The room appears to be not comptletely prepared for guest use. The sofa was old and ugly. The worst thing was air conditioning .

El hotel es hermoso pero muy impersonal por estar en un edificio. El masaje simplemente bueno, no lo volvería a tomar. Desayuno bien. El cuarto se sentía muy húmedo, tuvieron que poner un humidificador. Lo peor del hotel la pobre comunicación con el staff que habla casi nada de inglés. Sobre todo en la recepción es indispensable que tengan a alguien que habla bien inglés, sepa información de la ciudad y pueda apoyar al huésped. Tienen unas chiquitas que realmente no funcionan. Solamente un chico (Leo) pudo realmente apoyarme un poco. No volvería a este hotel ni lo recomendaría. Esperaba más de un four Seasons. Eso sí, mis felicitaciones an ama de llaves me dieron un trato espectacular, viendo todas mis necesidades. Ese equipo es el único que realmente da una atención de primera!

Highly appreciated the warm welcome from all the staff. Many thanks to Ms. Jennifer, the front desk check-in young lady. She’s so thoughtful and gives us an upgrade. Also took the wonderful photos for us in front of the Christmas Decorations. The hotel is close to many restaurants and entertainment facilities, beautiful night views. Will come back to the Four Seasons definitely.

Reasons for choosing Four Seasons Hotel: 1) Stayed in Four Seasons Macau previously and was blown away by their service and attention to details. I thus had the mistaken belief that I would be showered with the same attention of service. 2) Interiors of the property as seen on TikTok What really happened: 1) Told the staff that we were checking in at 2.30 am and we expected the room be cleaned and ready. Room was cleaned but ready was a loose term. Door to the bathroom could not close. We called housekeeping and a super bored tone greeted me. I was shocked. No apology. Just told me bluntly that I had to wait for the engineer to arrive. We were not happy. Engineer told us that there was a nail sticking out and he had to remove it in order for the door to close. This was near 3 am. After some time, nail was finally removed. 2) We could not turn on the water. We had to call the duty manager and the manager explained that it was a common occurrence for guests not knowing how to use. Why was it not changed then? Or why didn’t someone come up with us to teach us if this was going to be a problem? Why was there nothing done? We finally fell asleep at 4 am after the bad start to the stay. 3) Did the duty manager apologise? Yes. Was the hotel sincere and try to make up to us? Or was there any handwritten notes of apology? Nada. Nothing. Zero. Did I expect this from Four Seasons Hotel? Absolutely not. 4) Moral of the story: this is not the hotel for people with high expectations

There is much to see in the city. The hotel is located in a newer business area so it is a bit far from the scenic old city. There are sufficient restaurants nearby so the travel is not a big issue. Don’t miss the Provincial Museum. It is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Tim who works at the ground floor concierge is a helpful staff.
