Beautiful surroundings and lovely garden. The breakfast was wonderful. The bathroom in our room smelled of mold, otherwise clean room. The owners were unfortunately quite unfriendly but maybe they just had a bad day? Can happen to anyone I guess but my child got quite upset. Overall we had a good stay.

The location, property / room style & friendly host could make this a 5 star location. However: i) The property offers a restaurant as part of its facilities listing. The restaurant(s) are in the local town which is a car journey away!! Very misleading. ii) Very basic continental breakfast. iii) The host ignored my messages requesting information sent prior to the stay. iv) Only warm water in the shower both when we arrived and the next morning. v) No soap provided for the bathroom handbasin. vi) Despite a large room, nowhere to sit in the room other on the bed or a hard wicker chair.
