Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Suites

This property does not have easy access to the pool and hot tub. You are asked to take a 1 hour shift and no allowed to use it anytime it is open except this shift. Then you are scrutinized when doing go. Also kids are not allowed in the hot tub. Pool is cool. We booked for to use both these and were very disappointed and front desk very rude about it.

Hotel was nice and clean. I was under the impression that the indoor pool was heated, it was freezing cold. The hot tub was occupied the whole time and the water in the hot tub was gray and gross looking. Planned a little staycation with kids so they could be able to swim. I’ll still give a good review just if the pool is top priority of your stay you will be disappointed

We did the check in round 8 pm, and when to the swimming pool by 8:20 and was close I was traveling with my kids and they really wanted to enjoy the pool, Then the next day pool was available till 9 am, also the elevator was smelling like smoke 🌿

Everything was good breakfast was good just a fun fact Friday and Sunday you have to make reservations to use the pool 🙄

Front desk attendant was grouchy, pool was a mess and rooms are very outdated.

The room was okay just need to be updated. I didn’t like how the hot tub was out and that when I called and asked was not made aware. Pool was closed early. And I wasn’t told about the “birthday” clause when I checked in because it was a Tuesday but as I tried to bring balloons into the hotel I was stopped, she was turning 6 and we had no extra guest. Luckily the balloons were inexpensive

Suite concept made the space comfortable and relaxing. Close to Oakbrook terrace mall and quality restaurants w easy access to the major freeways.Right next to the Drurylane theatre so parking can be a challenge on show nights.An 8 dollar overnite parking charge was surprising for a suburban location.

We booked this hotel for the hot tub. We learned it was out of order and had been for 2-3 weeks. That type of info should be updated on the site, so we can know not to book a hotel if the hot tub is not working.

The property is very nice, the rooms are cleaned daily, and the service is pleasant and helpful. The only setback I had was that the parking was not free for guests. I had to pay a daily fee even though there was sufficient parking around the property.

Beds were super comfortable, not so clean though. Bathtub/shower gave me the icks, wet bar sink in the room was leaking water from side of cabinets, air quality in the room felt super dry. Service was good, parking was $8/night, no free breakfast …

Clean room and staff was great

Ratty old carpet in hallway and rooms, poor water pressure in bathroom. Scattered trash under beds from previous guests.

Room was dirty let out bed dirty disgusting heat don’t work well it was extremely cold

The hot tub and pool was the main reason for our visit and it meet our expectations. The cleanliness of the room did not meet my expectations and standards. The bathroom was not throughly clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor. There was a sock, that wasn’t ours, in the bedroom. Which makes me thinks was the room properly vacuumed.

We had a balcony but due to the bldg being painted we couldn’t get out on the balcony. The room was not clean. The otter man they had in the room should have been in the trash. No way in the world they should have had that in a room! Look at the pictures below! The sheets had brown stains , we had raised the tv up looking for a card , and it was so filthy! It was a white powdered substance mixed with dirt. We had bugs as well. Our last night I could hear something in the walls! The restaurant/bar staff wasn’t too friendly! You couldn’t tell me that wasn’t rats! But overall the front desk was pretty professional and nice. The hotel is very old and outdated! Will I ever go back there? No ! Would I recommend this hotel ? No!

Staff was very pleasant. Good breakfast. Nice pool area. Very firm hard uncomfortable bed and someone else’s long hair all over the bathroom floor. Also had to go get bedding for the pullout couch. Would not be in top choices for next Chicago trip.

I liked the lobby—very unique design. Staff was friendly. However the furniture and carpet in my room looked very worn out. The shower had mold and there was no toilet paper. People were very loud when talking outside their rooms at 9-10 at night. I know it’s early for some but it was hard to relax after a long day with people right outside my door.

Toilet was leaking, stains around the toilet, stains in the tub, big hole near shower head, shower drain looked nasty, carpet stains, ceiling stains. Looks like an outdated run down motel. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

First room in disrepair, second room not clean. We left a day early.

Great location, the building needs a major overhaul, it's pretty dated, they have balconies, but half of them are not accessible, I asked about it, and they was like, yeah some of the doors will not open. My key for the room sometimes worked, and sometimes didn't. I had to go to the desk everyday for something.

Room and bathroom were really nice. Staff were great. The only thing was that the air conditioner would not cool under 72 degrees, of which I sleep better when its colder (under 70 degrees). Using the app for the door key, check-in and check-out was awesome. Internet was good.

Nice big rooms with balcony

Didn't like highway noise, didn't like how early the pool closed, didn't like having to pay to park on the street, didnt like room not getting cleaned when I specifically told the front desk we wanted our room cleaned as we left for the day.

Overall the stay was Ok but they definitely need some love at this property and should retrain staff. Firstly upon checking in, the overnight staff guy was very short, unaccommodating and unpleasant. We got to the hotel around 12:45am after flying for 5hrs from Los Angeles. There was an issue checking in, he didn’t offer any assistance just assumed we were unable to pay to told us to contact our bank, even after explaining that was NOT the issue. We were in town for a wedding and had a total of 7 rooms on site as a family, I asked to be moved to a room or even the same floor with my family and he told us NO. Was basically saying this was our assigned room and he couldn’t or wouldn’t change it. The room was OLD and outdated, the wall paper in the shower, bathroom and living room area was peeling! The room didn’t quite match the description on the booking site either but my husband and I made it work. When I spoke with my cousin and checked out her room, she was dissatisfied with the quality and cleanliness of the property also. The backdoor we were accessing the entire stay became inaccessible on Saturday night due to a family that had a family reunion at the hotel and they blocked the outside/backdoor/smoking area off for them and their guest only. 😳 I was shocked, we all had to walk around to another entrance/door at 10pm after the wedding just to get in. I was not happy and will not be returning, I’m usually pleased with Hilton hotels but they dropped the ball here.

Great staff, spacious rooms But they need to be remodeled. They feel like a trip back to the 90's.

For the price, I’d expect everything to be ship-shape. Instead, I found worn carpeting, torn carpeting patched with duct tape, AC malfunctioning (despite 2 visits from the engineer), room safe non-functional (unable to reach front desk - put on hold > 10 minutes), room phone not-working. In

Friendly staff, comfortable beds and large clean rooms!

Property is nice, but the man in customer service cannot care about the customers or his job less. We asked if he saw our camera when we checked in, he said he was not on the shift. Yet the fact is he was the one checked us in.

They gave my room away that I booked for two weeks prior because I had arrived there from a late night flight. Said “first come first serve, you will get refund buddy” they offered me no other option for my stay. Which Im from Florida and had no one or no place to sleep since there was a major event that weekend. It’s now been a month and they haven’t got back to me. I’ve called and they send me to a voice mail each time.

They canceled my booking and had no space for me, although I booked several weeks before.

We went with two of our kids and two friends to stay for two days for a concert. There were a few things that went wrong in the beginning of our hotel stay but nothing that the staff didn't handle with respect and dignity to me and my family. Tracy the manager was one of these kind ladies. I would mention the other ladies name at the front desk but it escapes me for the oddest reason. Any way it goes they acted and conducted themselves with the best professionalism I have ever seen. They treated us like family and I will definitely be bringing myself, my family, and my friends to this hotel for years to come. A thanks to all staff that interacted with me and my family during our stay. You all deserve praise at helping to run a top notch hotel.

When we arrived the key/card machine went down and we waited almost 30 minutes to check in. When we did get our keys one of them didn't work and when I went down to tell them about it they acted as if I had done something to deactivate it. It wasn't by my phone or car key, it was in my pocket with the other one that did work. Then the table in the room was dirty with crumbs on it and when I was checking for bed bugs I noticed a pair of underwear under the mattress and a tampon wrapper. Then I was given a hard time about getting our pool passes. Wasn't the experience I was looking for.

Housekeeping walked in my room twice without knocking. The first time was at 7a and 930a. I think parking should be included with the room .we pay alot for the room, then a $50 fee, the breakfast and parking thats alot.

a little older of a hotel, but besides a good updating, this hotel is great, off a very busy area, but situated back off interstate, 10 minute drive for decent food and a great theatre right next door

Hotel is next to some sort of event center and it seems all attendees of the event center take over the hotel parking. So if you go out for dinner and come back to the hotel, there are no parking spaces left - granted, the hotel will give you a hanger and seems they start towing at midnight - but by that time you are forced to park way away from the hotel! The pull out bed in the room was very hard and even very dirty. All in all the stay was OK, the staff were very friendly and helpful so that was a plus.

EVERYTHING AROUND THE AREA WAS GREAT.

Very convenient stay for the dury lane theater. Plenty of door dash options in the area to choose from as well.

Clean and spacious rooms. Walking distance to theater. Short drive to many restaurants and shops.

Breakfast was outstanding!

Our toilet was clogged and they told us they couldn;t bring us a plunger until the next morning at 0700 because the front desk didn't have a key to the maintenance room. We paid the extra $30 for breakfast and didnt even get to eat because they stopped serving breakfast an hour early. They do have a pool but oyu have to schedule a 1 hour block to use it and that is all you get.

We had a nice suite, it was nice to have more living space than just an average room. The breakfast buffet was nice but I wish it was included in the price. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if we ever visit the Chicago area in the future.

Everything was great expect the food breakfast cost and for the price of the food the food is horrible but staff and the room was great

The hotel was okay for the price but slightly tired. We had two separate rooms. We wanted to put our computers in the safe when we went out, but It did not work. They sent a tech. He said it needed a new motor and he did not have one So we tried the safe in our daughter's room. It, too, was broken. The $20 breakfast wasn't great. But the price was okay.

The rooms were quiet and clean. There was very little variety of food at the bar in the evening. Next door to drury theatre so it's only a 2 minute walk. The hotel is a 3 star.

The lobby is beautiful and the hotel is unique, but the rooms are very dated with very old furnishings. It would have been nice to have breakfast included in our stay, but it’s only dine in service.
