The rooms are small but the single beds are spacious. Everything was clean and tidy. Good shower and facilities available in room. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The communal area is small and basic but we managed to find seats easily. We appreciated the happy hour and complementary takoyaki. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Kanda station and Yamamoto line. The area felt safe and clean and there’s a 7/11 around the corner. I would stay again and would recommend if looking for a comfortable budget place to stay in Tokyo.

Un hotel piccolo ma accogliente. Le camere sono davvero molto piccole però funzionali. Ottimo il servizio di caffè e acqua sempre aperto e i drink e takoyaki. La colazione non è occidentale ma la zuppa di miso è buonissima!

Cozy hotel a 5 minute walk from Kanda station. Staff are great and always helpful, and the hotel features some free happy hours throughout the day for food or drink. The rooms feel like they're on the smaller side, so it can be cramped for you if you have multiple luggages - but the sleep will be great with the blackout curtains. The drying on the laundry machines was not as reliable as I had hoped for. Overall a good and manageable stay

le quartier est vivant et proche de la gare de Tokyo et de Ueno. On est a 10 mins a pied d'Akihabara. La chambre était plutôt grande et le lit très grand et à mon gout (pas trop dur). étant a 3 mins a pied de la station, on n'entends pas les trains ni le bruit de la rue. il y a des machines a lavée, du café toute la journée et des udon gratuit le soir, le staff est souriant et accueillant.

The hotel was surrounded by inexpensive restaurants and entertainment. Depending on which exit you used from train station (north or south), you would pass at least 2-3 combinis (convenience stores). When we checked in, we were early so we left our bags and returned later. By the time we came back, they placed our luggage in our room for us. NICE TOUCH! 😃 Our room was 140 sq meters large. The bed was spacious, and there were rods to use to hang your clothes. Bring swivel headed hangers because they only provided one for the room. Happy Hour included rice cracker snacks, 3-4 different alcoholic beverages and some mon-alcoholic drinks. The free nightly udon from 8pm - 10pm was tasty! Areas of improvement: - There are only 2 washing/drying machines. It takes 2.5 hours per complete load so if the previous guest doesn’t remove their belongings promptly, it can hold up others wanting to do laundry. Wish there was a way to check on availability of machines from the room instead of going up & down elevator. - Staff Education. We inquired about luggage service to the airport and were told we could arrange it the day before departure. That was incorrect. The staff couldn’t assist us any further so we were stuck dragging 2 checked bags and 2 carry-ons on the train from Kanda to Narita.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed for 8 nights while visiting Tokyo (two adults, in two beds). While the rooms aren't huge, they are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is large enough for one person, with good water pressure. My only criticism of the room is that it needed more storage space. There are two desks (one of them extended as needed), but not drawers or closet. We were given two hangers, and needed to request more (the clothes could be hung on bars around the walls of the room). Living out of a suitcase for 8 days wasn't easy. Service was excellent. At one point, we needed to switch rooms because the air conditioning unit was making an intermittent buzzing noise every 3-5 minutes overnight (similar to a cell phone on vibrate). The staff very quickly switched our room and we slept comfortably after that. In addition, we had trouble with the safe (it kept locking, and the code didn't work to open it again) - again, the staff (Rea) helped with a smile. Finally, the amenities were nice. There was instant coffee in the room, but an excellent coffee machine (which also served espresso and capuccino) in the lobby. There was free wine and sake from 5-7pm, and some snacks from 7-9pm. Wish there was a gym! Local gyms were $20-30/visit. It is in a very central location, steps from Kanda Station, and a 20 minute walk to Tokyo Station and Akihabra. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was reasonably priced and comfortable. Worth a booking!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I loved how there were lots of freebies, such as takoyaki every night during a specific time, free mocktails and some wine, unlimited water, tea, and coffee available all day, every day, as well as access to a microwave. These are all accessible 24 hours a day. The location was so accessible to the train station. Lots of great japanese restaurants and convenient stores nearby.

Staff were friendly and allowed early luggage drop offs if you’re showing up before check-in as well as holding onto it after check-out. Hotel located minutes away from the station. Cleanliness is just below average. The walls in the room I stayed in had some stains which could’ve been wiped off but they never seemed to bother. The overall room is just average in comfort. Bed is a double size, but offers just 1 pillow. Mattress is so soft and thin, you can literally feel the bed frame. The lack of storage…with just 1 folding table that’s even smaller than an Ikea Lack table, a small storage space that would only fit a carry on but wouldn’t fit a check-in luggage. Makeshift hooks on the previously mentioned stained walls. The overall room is big, but has such a bad use of space it’s not comfortable to navigate.

Our room was dirty and badly maintained. The white curtain had brown stains on it and a vent in the ceiling had black dust. The stool in the room was wobbly, hangers missing from the wall or broken and a foldable table was broken as well. The only good thing was the location.

Rummet var i minsta laget även för Tokyo. Man kunde knappt öppna väskan. Sängen var en tunn madrass på en träskiva. Hela rummet skulle behöva dammas rejält speciellt gardinen. Det finns inga avlastningsytor eller krokar, bara tre galgar. Men personalen var otroligt trevlig! Det var även gratis alkohol och takoyaki på kvällarna.

We were totally taken aback by the size of the room. We did not have enough room to open our suitcases, except for one the bed. The double bed consisted of a futon on a base which housed a small safe, a couple of small drawers, and a small fridge. This was against the wall, so you had to crawl over to get to the other side of the bed. The fridge emitted heat which made the small room very warm so you had to keep turning on the air conditioner on as the window would not open. They had a fold out table from the wall, but once this was engaged, you couldn't get to the end of the bed. There were also two coat hangers built into the wall, so all you could hang were two garments. The bathroom was also very small with no room to put a shaving or cosmetic bag anywhere. Definitely a one person bathroom.The room was clean and the hotel staff were great and very friendly, especially Rea. As a.foreign traveler, if I were to visit Japan again for an extended stay, I would probably pick another hotel.

Bed is a double size, but offers just 1 pillow. Mattress is so soft and thin, you can literally feel the bed frame. The lack of storage…with just 1 folding table that’s even smaller than an Ikea Lack table, a small storage space that would only fit a carry on but wouldn’t fit a check-in luggage. Makeshift hooks on the previously mentioned stained walls. The overall room is big, but has such a bad use of space it’s not comfortable to navigate.

Front staff was excellent. They were helpful with our questions and needs. Location was close to the JR Line making traveling within Tokyo (and outside tokyo) super convenient. Knocking off a star only for these two reasons: 1. The rooms, were really really small. We knew it was small booking it but was surprised at how small it actually was. The mattress was just a 5inch? mattress on top of a wooden raised plank. It was, however, surprisingly comfortable. 2. The in-room slippers were atrocious! They were incredibly uncomfortable! Please just provide disposable slippers instead! Overall it was a good experience. You do get what you pay for in terms of room space.

The staff very quickly switched our room and we slept comfortably after that. In addition, we had trouble with the safe (it kept locking, and the code didn't work to open it again) - again, the staff (Rea) helped with a smile. Finally, the amenities were nice. There was instant coffee in the room, but an excellent coffee machine (which also served espresso and capuccino) in the lobby. There was free wine and sake from 5-7pm, and some snacks from 7-9pm. We stayed at Sui Kanda on our second leg in Tokyo because it’s closer to Tokyo Station so it’s a lot easier to reach the airport. The hotel provides everything you need. It serves free alcohol at certain times as well as snacks. The staff is the friendliest especially Rea! Thank you so much for everything! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have been to world-renowned five star hotels all over the world including Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The staff are unfathomably accommodating to the point of absurdity. They have spared no cost to make our stay as carefree as possible. Naming even one member of staff would be a disservice to the rest, as each one has been incredible with their dedication to serving me and my husband on our 7-day trip to Japan. To sum this property for any prospecting travelers: it is a one in a million hotel. Ask and you shall receive levels of service. Overall delightful and if I ever stay in Tokyo again, this will be the place to go.

This hotel was in a nice and convenient area! The station was only about a 6 minute walk away. And the nearby stations are easy to navigate and have the main lines running through. The service was great and I greatly appreciate them finding my headphones I left behind and holding onto them for me until I could pick it up!

Sweet tiny room ( expectable in Tokyo). The staff is mindful and polite. Furthermore there are some free additional services like free coffee. The JR Lines and the Subway were 5 minutes away and the next konbini 3 minutes.

The communal area is small and basic but we managed to find seats easily. We appreciated the happy hour and complementary takoyaki. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Kanda station and Yamamoto line. The area felt safe and clean and there’s a 7/11 around the corner. I would stay again and would recommend if looking for a comfortable budget place to stay in Tokyo.

I can’t recommend enough this hotel! The rooms are super clean and comfortable, they have complementary FREE stuff like wine/sake in the afternoon, takoyaki at night and coffee/water 24 h, and the location is very convenient (JR station just 5 minutes walking, subway like 8-10 minutes). But must important, the staff is super friendly and helpful, they helped us sending some stuff we left at the room all the way to Kyoto, so thankful for that!! Would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I loved how there were lots of freebies, such as takoyaki every night during a specific time, free mocktails and some wine, unlimited water, tea, and coffee available all day, every day, as well as access to a microwave. These are all accessible 24 hours a day. The location was so accessible to the train station. Lots of great japanese restaurants and convenient stores nearby.

Stayed in a double room. Not enough space for two of us. Even for one person, there’s very little room for every thing besides sleeping (the bed was comfy). Because other similar hotels offer bit more space, I’m not sure if this hotel would be my first choice in the future. Everything else was great.
Stayed in a double room. Not enough space for two of us. Even for one person, there’s very little room for every thing besides sleeping (the bed was comfy). Because other similar hotels offer bit more space, I’m not sure if this hotel would be my first choice in the future. Everything else was great.

My daughter and I loved our stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and asked how our day was. The quaintness of staying at this local hotel is certainly not something you get from a corporate hotel. I enjoyed the happy hour provided to all guests daily. It was the first time I tasted sake. I also enjoyed the plum wine and snacks. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and I have to say, the service has always been attentive and helpful. The location is extremely convenient as it’s only a short walk to Kanda or Mitsukoshimae stations. It’s even walkable to the Ginza and Akihabara neighbourhoods. The main thing lacking here is design and overall comfort. The hallways are not air conditioned which made the floors feel uncomfortable upon leaving or returning to the hotel. The rooms are uninspired and could use some interior design elements. Some colour would help. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Just remember, 7-eleven is around the corner along with a soba shop. Plenty of food choices are within walking distance. Overall, based on location and service, I would still recommend it and would return. I would love to be pleasantly surprised with some building/room updates in the future!
