Liked are four days hear nice little pool on the roof with a great view plus a 2 mins walk to one of the main strip and beach ideal for solo travellers and couples/teenagers good breakfast and helpful staff.....HAPPY DAYS !!!

Great “Casa Blanca” style 3 story. Good beds, spacious rooms that are all decorated in mahogany wood tables and chairs. Don’t bother trying to move furniture as it is really heavy and loud. No elevator or 1st floor rooms. The steps are great exercise so we are fine. Great staff gave us a top floor room. One of the other reasons to stay is if you love Italian cuisine “Umbertos” has a top notch chef who makes some classics. His pizza was perfect, the meat was cooked by an expert with high quality cuts, the sauce was wonderful too. The salad was refreshing, not damp, or to dry.

We only stayed here for 2 nights, to be well located for travel to Koh Phi Phi. For this, the hotel was fine. Generally a little worn around the edges, but not an issue if you're out most the time. Pool area was nice, and the hotel was well located for restaurants, bars, beaches, boat trips.

The staff were very friendly and the Italian restaurant downstairs was very good. The breakfast could be better and some more loungers around the 3rd floor pool would be better as well. Not a huge fan of the brown color pool tile, can make the water look unclean even if it is.

Frukosten mycket enkel. Rimligt rent men inget byte av lakan på sex dagar. Poolen mysig men även där slitet och illa underhållet. Tror det har varit ett fint hotell, men inga investeringar har gjorts på mycket länge. Känns som om man bara vill kröna ut höga priser under högsäsong och struntar i kritiken. Ingen kunskap om de utflykter man förmedlar. Rekommenderas inte, åtminstone inte för det pris vi betalade nu under jullovet.

Der var ingen varmt vand i bruseren, men det viste sig at hvis man lod vandet løbe i ca 5 min med hanen i den rigtige indstilling var der varmt vand. Skal man sige noget positivt var det at personaler var søde og hjælpsomme og at der var rent på værelset, Men prisen på værelset skulle have været en femtedel.

Pictures don’t do it justice - lovely views from the pool and rooms. We ended up staying here multiple nights, as we really like the hotel and location. Only thing to note is there is no lift but the team are on hand to carry your bags up the stairs

This is a hidden gem in Ao Nang. The hotel is located in a quieter area but is still close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. The staff at the hotel was the most helpful, thoughtful, and curteous. Fern went above and beyond in helping us book a private tour last minute and checked in on us after the tour. Other staff members we interacted with were also extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and charming. There is a private hot tub on our terrace and a Thai cushion in the reading nook, which was a very nice touch. The hotel infinity pool was also very nice and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Ao Nang next time.

Hotel and rooms are quite old. We first were told that our room was not ready when we arrived, but suddenly got told that nevermind it is ready. Got put in a room where the bed was absolutely rockhard, there was no power outlets besides behind the TV, and some of the lights did not work. When we went to complain about it, we were instantly moved to a different room. Felt like they just tried to see if we would not complain about the terrible room. the new room was ok, with working lights, a softer bed and power outlets. The pool was nothing like in the pictures, the pool chairs are very old and not even close to the ones in the pictures. The pool area is also very small with only a few chairs. Nothing to say about the restaurant, we did not go there but it seemed to be quite full most of the nights and they had a proper wine selection. No sound insulation, every noise from the hallway and street was heard inside the room like we had the door or window open. Breakfast was really poor, only options were bread with nothing to put on the bread, cereal, and small fruit selection. Feels like this hotel has not stood the test of time and is in of a fixup. For the price there are better options in better locations, even closer to the beach

Very, very run down hotel which has not been refurbished in decades. Reception area and corridors and extremely worn down, not to mention the breakfast area. Breakfast as such is very poor by Thailand standards, a couple of cold cooked dishes and eggs available to order however only plain omelette. The rooms are also very dated, bedsheets and towels are stained and filthy. The only upside of this hotel is friendly staff and a great Italian restaurant on the ground floor

This is a great hotel for the budget traveller. What you see is what you get. Nice size rooms and bathrooms. Seems a little worn down but for the price we where more than satisfied. The staff is very helpful and serviceminded. The location of the hotel is genius! 👍🙏

Great location to everything - beach, shops, dining, tours/excursions, etc. The room was a comfortable size with the amenities we needed. The pool on the second floor was unique as it overlooked the street below and a small area of a bay across the street. The staff were very accommodating and responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return there again.

Pictures don’t do it justice - lovely views from the pool and rooms. We ended up staying here multiple nights, as we really like the hotel and location. Only thing to note is there is no lift but the team are on hand to carry your bags up the stairs

This is a hidden gem in Ao Nang. The hotel is located in a quieter area but is still close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. The staff at the hotel was the most helpful, thoughtful, and curteous. Fern went above and beyond in helping us book a private tour last minute and checked in on us after the tour. Other staff members we interacted with were also extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and charming. There is a private hot tub on our terrace and a Thai cushion in the reading nook, which was a very nice touch. The hotel infinity pool was also very nice and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Ao Nang next time.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen. Mein Zimmer hatte eine riesengroße Regendusche. Vom schönen Pool aus kann man sogar den wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang bewundern. Der Guest Manager Johan ist der freundlichste und hilfsbereiteste Mitarbeiter, der mir je begegnet ist. Er hilft beim Frühstück, beim Gepäck, bei Routen- oder Tourplanungen, kümmert sich um Tickets und war stets zuvorkommend. Ich würde jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel kommen.

The infinity pool was relaxing but it was the staff that made our stay so wonderful. They gave great recommendations for local things to do and were always there to help provide things such as umbrellas when raining and towels for the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed the convenient location close to many restaurants. The staff was very helpful, friendly, kind and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed renting scooters from the property. We also really enjoyed our tour to Hong Island and renting a kayak to see the beautiful view at Railay beach along with the lagoon. It was fun! Merci.

The attendants Boa and Fun and the entire staff were super friendly and hospitable. They hold a smile and greet you everytime you walk by the lobby. The rooms are great for a decent price, the building is not modern but I loved the way it resembled the old Italian/Spanish architecture. The experience was amazing since everything was around 5 mins walk. 7 eleven, Ko dam restaurant next door is a must for great thai food.

I think for the price of this particular hotel it is a Top option for any type of traveller. I am a lone traveler from England on my first Ever visit to Asia and at the moment I’ve been to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau and then Aonang🙏 I cannot say anything but Wonderful things about this Continent so far and I plan to return. Sorry to have diverted a bit from talking about the hotel ( Colors) in Aonang but I just wanted to say how Friendly Everyone I’ve spoken to or had dealings with are So Happy Welcoming and nothing is to much trouble! The staff as a team at Colors Aonang are Just Amazingly friendly and I feel actually Truly care about their guests,I find there is Nothing false about Anyome who works here. They are so helpful and I have to give a Special mention to Fern one of the receptionists, she I feel is the leader of a Wonderful group of people and she is a True Guiding light and shows Everything that makes this hotel standout for me . It has a swimming pool that’s kept very well, a pool table and Wonderful Restaurant, its vicinity is Fantastic Alf in easy reach of the Night Market and many bars and Restaurants! We only stayed here for 2 nights, to be well located for travel to Koh Phi Phi. For this, the hotel was fine. Generally a little worn around the edges, but not an issue if you're out most the time. Pool area was nice, and the hotel was well located for restaurants, bars, beaches, boat trips.

Great location to everything - beach, shops, dining, tours/excursions, etc. The room was a comfortable size with the amenities we needed. The pool on the second floor was unique as it overlooked the street below and a small area of a bay across the street. The staff were very accommodating and responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return there again.

Hotel and rooms are quite old. We first were told that our room was not ready when we arrived, but suddenly got told that nevermind it is ready. Got put in a room where the bed was absolutely rockhard, there was no power outlets besides behind the TV, and some of the lights did not work. When we went to complain about it, we were instantly moved to a different room. Felt like they just tried to see if we would not complain about the terrible room. the new room was ok, with working lights, a softer bed and power outlets. The pool was nothing like in the pictures, the pool chairs are very old and not even close to the ones in the pictures. The pool area is also very small with only a few chairs. Nothing to say about the restaurant, we did not go there but it seemed to be quite full most of the nights and they had a proper wine selection. No sound insulation, every noise from the hallway and street was heard inside the room like we had the door or window open. Breakfast was really poor, only options were bread with nothing to put on the bread, cereal, and small fruit selection. Feels like this hotel has not stood the test of time and is in of a fixup. For the price there are better options in better locations, even closer to the beach

Great “Casa Blanca” style 3 story. Good beds, spacious rooms that are all decorated in mahogany wood tables and chairs. Don’t bother trying to move furniture as it is really heavy and loud. No elevator or 1st floor rooms. The steps are great exercise so we are fine. Great staff gave us a top floor room. One of the other reasons to stay is if you love Italian cuisine “Umbertos” has a top notch chef who makes some classics. His pizza was perfect, the meat was cooked by an expert with high quality cuts, the sauce was wonderful too. The salad was refreshing, not damp, or to dry.

The hotel has an old Moroccan-style design that could be enhanced with some modern updates. The rooms with the upstairs lofts and terra cotta balconies outfitted a bathtub and sink are a nice place to relax and watch the sun go down.

The staff were very friendly and the Italian restaurant downstairs was very good. The breakfast could be better and some more loungers around the 3rd floor pool would be better as well. Not a huge fan of the brown color pool tile, can make the water look unclean even if it is.

Very, very run down hotel which has not been refurbished in decades. Reception area and corridors and extremely worn down, not to mention the breakfast area. Breakfast as such is very poor by Thailand standards, a couple of cold cooked dishes and eggs available to order however only plain omelette. The rooms are also very dated, bedsheets and towels are stained and filthy. The only upside of this hotel is friendly staff and a great Italian restaurant on the ground floor

There is some ambient noise from the hotel restaurant (which is very expensive and lacks a bar), the outside, and possibly other guests, but the hum faded into white noise for me and was not an issue. Bed had 4 comfy pillows, shower was not great. Overall, felt quite luxurious for the price and would happily return.

Poorly maintained hotel. For example, they gave us a couple of towels with holes and when we requested new ones, they said that they’re waiting for more towels. The day after, they did exactly the same. The room was nice but also felt old due to maintenance and it was really dark. Bed was awesome and the room size is quite big. Location is excellent. In summary, hotel is ok, but with more maintenance it could be better.
