I basically agree with previous reviews. Internet/TV cuts out often, the bathroom is to small and the kitchen facilities are inadequate for longer stays. The bed is noisy and defective. All in all I was happy for the short stay in a quiet and safe neighborhood knowing all of the shortcomings beforehand.

I consider the property to be very good and comfortable, the only thing is that the bed needs to be improved because it is broken, apart from this, everything is fine

When we arrived the apartment was very dirty and missing basic amenities. We contacted the owner, and he was willing to cover the costs of the things we had to purchase. He offered after two days for the cleaners to come. We did not want the cleaners to come because we cleaned ourselves. I was literally on the floor on my hands and knees cleaning the bathroom. And there were lots of ants. The infestation of ants was our major concern. The owner said I should buy insect repellant to take care of the ants. I did this. They just kept coming back. There were even ants in the bed. I went back and forth about this with the owner. He was very focused on the cleaning. He did not offer to have an exterminator come in. He should have paid for one night at a hotel for us while the ants were being taken care of. He eventually gave me a refund of one and a half days. I asked for a refund for the whole week. The place was unlivable so we moved out after three days. I was never given a full refund. I could live with the bare bones apartment and the cleaning. I could not live with the ants. The owner needs someone to come in and do a very deep clean and an exterminator to come out. We were in town because our daughter was having a baby. We picked the location because it was ten minutes away from our daughter. It was extremely stressful to move out and find new accommodations that were not close to our daughter. The owner seemed like a nice guy, but he did not take care of the ant problem.

The property itself is a lovely neighbourhood with free parking out front on the street. It is a basement unit. The shower had very small ants. The bathroom is contained in a very small area with the toilet up against the sink. The main bed has seen better days and was uncomfortable. The pull out couch was not useable and our friend slept on the couch instead. The internet dropped out a lot for devices including the TV. Loved the neighbourhood and felt very safe with our car parked out front. The host was very quick to respond to all queries. Very polite and courteous. We stayed for 5 nights end of May and first week of June 2024. It was 20-30 minutes from all downtown attractions. Be prepared to use Uber/Lyft to get around.

Property was exactly as described. Quiet neighborhood. Safe. Close to anything we could have needed. Owner was very communicative.
