No problems with the staff at all. Room was our main gripe - smallest we’ve ever stayed in. Shower room also tiny. No facility for breakfast but you can go into the adjoining cafe. No car parking but the car parks behind the Abbey are available if you risk a £100 fine..!! (Staff said nobody had received a fine in 7 years to their knowledge). So best for an overnight stop in my view..

My main problem was cleanliness the bed sheets look like they had not been changed in ages there was yellow stains all over the toper and it was just not nice ive took pictures of it all cuz it was not nice at all

The pro: Convenient walking distance to the national space center with friendly staff with clean rooms. Cons: sadly let down by being worn down with multiple damaged items in the room and in the room that I stayed in missing blackout curtains that were very much needed as the LED street light made it like trying to sleep with the light on. This along with the noise from the main road made getting a good nights sleep difficult.

Staff are really friendly and very helpful rooms are lovely and clean and beds are very comfortable supplied with plenty of fresh towels and room for all your belongings and the restaurant has amazing food lots of choice and good value for money and cooked fresh this is my 3rd visit and will continue to stay

The hotel location is at the side of a very busy road... We had a front facing room so your head is about 4 feet from the vehicles! It is noisy and we didn't sleep well. The room was very tired, very small and the bathroom was tiny. The bed is very small and doubt it is a proper double size. The reception isn't manned all the time so difficult to report any issues. The room was not serviced at all during our three night stay. They say any port in a storm but it would have to be an apocalyptic one to get us through the door again!

Checked in early evening, receptionist was friendly and advised that the hotel is only manned between certain hours (3pm to 11pm I think). Room was fairly clean if a little worn. Bed was ok, mattress was too soft and pillows not particularly thick. Room was very warm but a fan was provided for cooling which was much needed. The real problem hit in the morning when I attempted to have a shower. The water was scalding hot. After messing with it for a good 10 minutes I learned that I could only make it hotter, not colder. It was so hot that I couldn’t even splash myself with it to have a decent wash. Called reception and they were closed - obviously, nobody works here outside of check in hours. Complained to both the hotel and hotels.com and asked to be refunded/compensated for the inconvenience but was fobbed off.

It’s a nice enough hotel, but not suited for people without a car It’s 2 + km. from the train station & and a long walk to town for restaurants.There is a small cafe next door with coffee , burgers & Indian Rice . No wi-fi in up stairs room.

The hotel is well-located for the city centre and Abbie Park and appears to be in relatively good, modern condition. Check in was slow and required a £100 deposit (I was surprised as this isn't usually a requirement and especially not in such a budget establishment). The management appears to be a big fan of paper notices, warnings and instructions - there are instructions littering the whole hotel and it's far too much to read! All the instructions on the walls tend to make the hotel feel quite bossy and intimidating which I'm sure wasn't its intention as the staff were quite friendly. The room was small but comfy with an interior window, fan and double bed with white bedding. The shower room was tiny - but clean and well maintained. Overall a generally positive experience with a few little tweaks needed to make it feel more welcoming.

Room was clean and tidy. Staff upon arrival were friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing... great food at a decent price. My only issue was there was no where to get bottled water or anything else regarding food or drink or snacks ect... after 8.30 when the restaurant closed. Room was clean and tidy. Staff upon arrival were friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing... great food at a decent price. My only issue was there was no where to get bottled water or anything else regarding food or drink or snacks ect... after 8.30 when the restaurant closed. Maybe a vending machine would be a good idea or have something available at reception.

No problems with the staff at all. Room was our main gripe - smallest we’ve ever stayed in. Shower room also tiny. No facility for breakfast but you can go into the adjoining cafe. No car parking but the car parks behind the Abbey are available if you risk a £100 fine..!! (Staff said nobody had received a fine in 7 years to their knowledge). So best for an overnight stop in my view..

Staff are really friendly and very helpful rooms are lovely and clean and beds are very comfortable supplied with plenty of fresh towels and room for all your belongings and the restaurant has amazing food lots of choice and good value for money and cooked fresh this is my 3rd visit and will continue to stay

It’s a nice enough hotel, but not suited for people without a car It’s 2 + km. from the train station & and a long walk to town for restaurants.There is a small cafe next door with coffee , burgers & Indian Rice . No wi-fi in up stairs room.

Arrived to be told there wasn’t a room for me. Apparently they had notified my through Expedia. I don’t use Expedia, I booked through Hotels.com. Resulted in me having to book elsewhere at short notice. I did use the toilets while I was trying to check in and they were disgusting which is why I leave a negative review on the cleanliness. I wasn’t ’fortunate’ enough to see the accommodation. I had to ask for a refund as they still took my money. Hotels.com were very helpful sorting the refund which is the only positive I can take from this experience!
