We stayed in an efficiency apartment like room. The fridge and microwave were appreciated. However, there was no room cleaning during the stay and only basic soap in the bathroom and shower. Parking was no charge and on the street across from the hotel. Most restaurants and shopping were a 10 - 15 minute walk away. Quiet for sleeping. Hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good

Hotel Le St Patrice is favorably located. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We did not eat breakfast there, so cannot comment on the food. It is located well for many lovely bakeries and eateries. Sites are also close for visiting. Free parking is within 2-3 blocks. My wife and I stayed in the family studio, which was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own food and the parking was free and very close. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and the British military cemetery. The owner was delightful.

Hotel is adjacent to restaurants and bars and main shopping district. There is public transit, but this is more of a driving destination, especially if you're visiting Normandy attractions. Hotel is quaint with a small cute courtyard. Be aware of their check in hours as they are not staffed in the middle of the afternoon. No AC but fan and fairly comfortable temperatures given distance to channel. Easy free parking nearby.

A beautiful and clean hotel in a fabulous location! There was lots of street parking nearby and a large car park about a block away. There was a good grocery store a short walk and the weekly market is steps away. This made it easy to shop and cook in the well appointed kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and lots of towels were provided. The only issue with comfort for us during a "heatwave" was no airconditioning. A fan was provided, and a good cross breeze could be achieved by opening the windows. The lack of AC was more of an issue because we were traveling with a baby. The location was wonderful and the room was clean and in a beautifully restored old building with lots of character. We will definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in the city.

All fine. Room was top floor, no lift. Fine for us, might be a struggle for some with bigger cases. Didn’t try food. Shower was tiny! Very friendly service but reception open very limited times. Great location

Owner was very nice and the location was great…but no lift meant climbing 3 flights of stairs in a small curvy stairwell EVERY time you go in and out. And having to push a code on the old metal gate to get OUT. I understand why it was necessary to get IN…but why you had to do it every time to get out was very annoying. And Ive NEVER been to a hotel where there was NO ATTENDANT in the middle of the day for 2 hours! I had a lot of luggage and hauled it to the door IN THE RAIN…to find out I still had to wait another HOUR, so I had to take everything back to the car. Which brings me to the final problem, the website says free parking…well that means on the STREET which only has about 6 spots. And you better be an expert at parallel parking

This property is in a great location - with available free street parking. The room was run down, and a bit unclean. The bed was not super comfortable and no AC, but we still enjoyed the stay. The front desk people were helpful.

Wifi worked well. Front desk was charming and very helpful with booking taxis, etc. We did not have the breakfast, but paid just for morning coffee. The rooms were nice and clean even though sparsely decorated. We would stay again.

Cute boutique hotel. Pros: friendly staff with good accommodations. Cons: the floors had crumbs and hair from the previous occupants. A fan would be helpful. Breakfast was adequate, but not abundant. We are vegetarians, so not as much for us to eat. I would stay here again, but not purchase the breakfast. It was humid and warm which required us to sleep with our window open. the noise from cars made sleeping a challenge. A fan would have made the experience much more enjoyable, especially for the rooms over the street.

Great Stay. Very clean room up some stairs. Comfy bed & a quiet room. Parking on the street for free if you can find a spot (off season wasn’t crowded). Staff was super friendly, check in/out was quick and easy. Breakfast was European typical yet plentiful and tasty. Be warned that wasting food here will cost you, so only take what you can eat (per the signs posted in the dining area).

Centrally located with free parking 2 minutes walk away the room was lovely. Very private and quiet our host gave us plenty of information prior to an on arrival. She was very helpful. The room was clean and had simple self catering which was nice after a long day touring Normandy. All the local attractions are in walking distance with good food options very close by

My only issue was how hard the bed was. I was in a twin room, and finally switched beds the last night because I couldn't get comfortable. Perhaps I should have said something after the first night but I knew they wete full.

This was the perfect place to explore Bayeux and the apartment was clean, warm and comfortable. The only criticism I make is about the WiFi which would only let me connect one device at a time and seemed to time out a lot which was annoying. It would have been excellent apart from this

We loved this little property! The first night we stayed in an upstairs bedroom with a loft. The second night was on the first floor in an ADA compliant room. On the first night, the stairways were very narrow and steep and our luggage was heavy! This is not the hotel's fault at all, of course!! The room with a loft was a little awkward because there was a toilet on the bottom floor with no sink. The sink and shower was in the loft. If you were travelling with friends or family, you would have to disturb the loft inhabitants in order to wash your hands. The bed and room itself was very comfortable. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. Bayeux is a quaint little town with excellent shopping, dining and people. We would definitely stay here again.

The hostess was nice, but we had a room facing the street, and it was quite loud. The property has been converted into a hotel and is kind of weird for that reason, at least from an American perspective. The second queen bed is up a very steep flight of stairs. The toilet is downstairs, but the sink and shower are upstairs. Perfectly professional and serviceable, but not excellent.

Great location, very clean, friendly staff. We arrived in the afternoon from the train and there was no one on staff to let us in. Luckily Ilene came to let us in but the reception area doesn't open till 4pm which I thought was strange. Guests can't control when the train will arrive and need to be able to drop luggage.

This hotel was very well situated with many walkable restaurants and shopping. Would definitely consider staying there again.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly, and the area quiet. It is not as close to city center as I thought, but an easy walk on the cute Main Street. Free parking just around the corner.

Hotel is quaint with a small cute courtyard. Be aware of their check in hours as they are not staffed in the middle of the afternoon. No AC but fan and fairly comfortable temperatures given distance to channel. Easy free parking nearby.

A beautiful and clean hotel in a fabulous location! There was lots of street parking nearby and a large car park about a block away. There was a good grocery store a short walk and the weekly market is steps away. This made it easy to shop and cook in the well appointed kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and lots of towels were provided. The only issue with comfort for us during a "heatwave" was no airconditioning. A fan was provided, and a good cross breeze could be achieved by opening the windows. The lack of AC was more of an issue because we were traveling with a baby. The location was wonderful and the room was clean and in a beautifully restored old building with lots of character. We will definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in the city.

We were able to find street parking right at our hotel both nights yet we could easily walk into town for dinner, snacks, or entertainment. Since the hotel is near the edge of town it was also easy to get out to our points of interest. The room was clean and held safe and the staff was friendly. We opted for breakfast one morning and although great to have it handy we wise to eat out the next morning.

Would have liked a hot breakfast - no eggs or other hot prepared meal. Only provided one plain croissant. I would look elsewhere for breakfast. However, the service was very good, professional, and enthusiastic. Bathroom was clean.

Our stay was very good. We really enjoyed our breakfast. Room was a good size and clean. Shower stall a bit too small and it would be helpful to supply soap in the bathroom. Location was fairly good but a bit of a walk to restaurants. Parking was really good and the staff were excellent.

Lovely hotel close to the main area of town. Close walk to cathedral and all sorts of restaurants. On Saturday there is an amazing farmer's market right next to the hotel. Highly recommend it.

As other reviews have said, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful with information, ordering transportation and other inquiries we had. The room was great: light and clean off a courtyard at the back of the building so it stayed cooler. The kitchenette was very helpful-we could store and prepare some of our own foods. We would definitely stay here again.
