This property did what it needed to do - provided me a bed and shower for a few nights at a reasonable price. The on-site gym is of terrific standard (large and all the necessary equipment). Numerous cafes and restaurants are within 10-15 minutes walk, and beaches, hikes and other activities within a 10-20 minute drive. The area is stunning, of course.

Came for a quick one night stay as a family with two small children. Appreciated the room layout with sleeping options and a kitchen. Fun to be able to use the pool and appreciate being able to stay after check out to swim. Good walking distance to everything. Happy with our stay for the good price!

We had a pleasant stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the sauna was excellent. The only thing we noticed was that the pool water was a bit cold — we were expecting it to be warmer. Just a quick note for future visitors: most restaurants in town close quite early, so plan your meals accordingly. Overall, we really liked our stay and would recommend this place.

The Harbor is awesome right out back. The restaurant that's there is closed Monday and Tuesday. The Sauna is busy. The rooms are extremely clean.

The floor was filthy and sticky. The coffee brand they provide had a funny taste. When I asked for a print out of the bill, she said they don’t do that because I booked with a third party….. not true! I have printed invoices from two previous accommodations booked third party. I was disappointed and disgusted at the filthy floor.

This motel is way overpriced, our room was damp and moldy and not clean at all, I’ve lots of pictures of mold, plug sockets melted away, dirt, there’s no closet, I’ve asked for a full refund but after a few messages to management they seem to be ignoring us now, we’d never stay here again or recommend it, $320 a night is a joke, location shouldn’t be a excuse to rip people off, they say they’ll charge $40 extra if you leave dirty dishes but don’t fix there own problems with the room or clean it properly.

This is my second visit with West Coast Motel (booked last visit through a different site). The bedroom came with a kitchenette which was very handy as it meant we could store our own food or drinks during our stay. The location is perfect for Ukee, as you're a short walk from any stores or restaurants (I'd recommend Sake Sushi for dinner, and The Break and Barkley Cafe for breakfast). There were only 2 negatives that I can think of; 1st was there were a few cobwebs in the room, and 2nd was the bed was quite firm, but I'm not used to that. The girl on reception was helpful in giving us options of where to eat too, thank you!

Overall ok for the price listed in August. Parking was right in front of our unit so it was good. The two queen and single beds were in good condition and the sofa bed was more comfortable than my expectations. There was a self served BBQ facility for grilling crabs if you like. However, I gave 3 stars for cleanliness because I found a few mouse droppings on the ground near the door and kitchen areas although we didn’t see any mouse, so we swept them away.

Room is nice and clean but the carpet has to go. It really detracts from what otherwise is a really nice room. There’s vinyl planking at the entrance but it should have continued where the carpet is. Bonus is that they have a beautiful health club attached and the staff are super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, it was a good stay. The room was outdated, however, very clean. My room was quite small, though it was perfect for my needs. The receptionist was very kind and informative. Parking was easy & had ample of space despite being sold out! It was also extremely quiet in the room - I could not hear anyone above/beside me which was a nice surprise (I could hear the nearby sea lions barking a bit at night, but it was cute and was not overly loud). The only con of the room was that the mattress was extremely firm. It was quite uncomfortable. I thankfully found a couple extra pillows in the closet area & was able to use them to be more comfortable. It was tolerable for my 2 night stay, however, I would not have been able to tolerate it for longer than that. I'm not sure if it was specific to my bed or if they're all like that. I did not wake up with back pain, though, it was difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep in. The pillows, sheets, comforter and blanket were all very cozy & warm. Overall, it was a good stay!

For the value you pay, it’s a good stay. The location is good. But in terms of experience, it’s not the most comfortable. The main issue was extremely poor circulation in the room. There should be screens on all of the windows, so you can safely have them open at night to allow air flow. Having a fan didn’t help because it just blew the same “stuffy” hot air around the room. Poor air quality allowed for a not so comfortable sleep. Not to mention that the room was really bright at night even with the black out curtains. So, if you are sensitive to light when trying to fall asleep, bring an eye mask. Since you will need to have the fan going to try and cool down the air (don’t expect it to change that much), bring ear plugs too if you are sensitive to noise when falling asleep. The size of the room itself was more than fine for having a place to lay your head for the night.

Beautiful location on the harbour; the suite was absolutely spotless when we arrived and checked in early. It was very quiet and comfortable. There was no housekeeping provided while we were there, which was fine. One thing, in this 2 bedroom suite the bedrooms have no windows. That was disconcerting. The office provided us with a fan and so we slept with the doors open and the fan blowing and that worked just fine.

You will hear your neighbor's bathroom at whatever hour they decide to use it. Good location for exploring the west side, up to Tofino. We booked an economy euro room and it was fine for our purposes except the bed was pushed up against wall, not great. Comfort of bed and pillows were just OK. We weren't expecting fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, silverware, cups, glasses, coffee pot and electric kettle, so that was a bonus. During our stay there was road construction 7.30a-5p. Didn't use fitness center.

Very handy to where we were going while up there! The staff in front office were more than accommodating with everything we needed! Lovely ladies and so friendly and understanding when we had to cancel one of our nights there! We also left a small bag in our room, and they were very quick at contacting us and mailing it back to us! Thanks for everything✨✨✨✨

Property was rustic, clean and the people were friendly. HOWEVER I did not care for the check in business practice of photo copying my license for identity purposes ( a simple viewing is sufficient ) AND copying my credit card front and back to use for incidentals or damage. My room was prepaid through Expedia. These businesses should be addressed by management. This is ripe for identity theft. I questioned the young woman checking me in and she said that’s just the way they do things.

You can't beat this hotel for convenience. Walking distance to everything in Ukee. Very clean rooms. Coffee maker, dishes, small fridge. For a budget hotel, this is your best bet for sure.

We enjoyed our stay stay here, just off the main road through Ucluelet. It is bare-bones but in the end has everything you need - plus we had a view over the little marina and dock area. The front office staff is particularly friendly and helpful for tips on GREAT nearby restaurants and things to do.

Having the pool and gym available was a real bonus. Also, being next to the Marina with its own floating restaurant, as well as having shops and restaurants in easy walking distance.

The Harbor is awesome right out back. The restaurant that's there is closed Monday and Tuesday. The Sauna is busy. The rooms are extremely clean.
