Fantastically located to walk to the amazing rocky foreshore, blowhole, shopping centre. Accommodation was very roomy, clean, quiet and had a carport. Echidna walked past the front door!!!

We love the chalet which is spacious and the cathedral ceiling made to room feel even bigger. We had a good night sleep. The was a wallaby in the front years and the sound of sea and the lovely penguins echoing in the starry sky was such a treat! The chalet is not new but very clean and the washing machine is a bonus! Minor point on the broken soap dish by the bath and no coffee for the encouraged me to go to the near by cafe, which is even better. Live the French influence of the eateries, I had fantastic dinner at Le Coq, and a wonderful breakfast at the fabulous bakery cafe . It’s a decent stay with all the basics covered, good value for money.

This is a beautiful accommodation site with separate units throughout the site. The unit was very, clean and well-appointed with on-site parking under a carport. It had a separate kitchen - dining room, loungeroom, bedroom and bathroom. It is very close to shops, clubs and other attractions.

Very cozy setting. Since there is no dishwasher. Some forks and knives weren't cleaned properly by previous guests at all. However, the cleaner has to check as well. A dishwasher will certainly help.

It's better than I expected. The view is great. Worth the price and it had most necessary items. Just one thing we noticed. There were red/blood colour dots and stain on the walls of the bedroom on downstairs which we found a bit strange.

The hotel was nice and clean, location was very close to multiple sightseeing locations, supermarket, and food options. Even though nobody was at the reception (it was closed early on boxing day), check in and check out was so convenient and fuss-free, instructions were really clear. Would highly recommend, and I’d definitely stay there again next time!

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. The king size bed was so comfortable and black out curtains were great. The bungalow had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were right on the road front and overlooked the blowholes. We were within walking distance to the town, whalers lookout and the gulch. It was a short drive back to Frecynet National Park. Service was excellent as we arrived on the public holiday but were kept up to date with opening times and how to access our rooms as we came in after the office had closed. This accommodation exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend Bicheno by the Bay to anyone looking at exploring the region.

Bed was rock hard, but besides that it was a very nice place and nice location. Front desk lady was great, but there was not always someone at the desk. You could only get wifi by hanging out by the reception area. This was a big problem for us, since we were traveling internationally without an international phone.

The room description had limited wifi. I found out in a subsequent email that there is no wifi. Fortunately I have a hot spot. Great location close to town and restaurants. Room was functional. An improvement is the heating was inadequate. Room was so cold at night. The bed was super comfortable. It has electric heat. Sleep was great

Great location. Walking distance to the blowhole and into town. Cottage had all amenities we needed and was lovely and quiet. Our air con wasn’t heating so spoke to reception and it was repaired within the hour. Great service

The staff was super helpful as I had messed up the dates. They were kind enough to update immediately. The property is very spacious and comfy with all the emenities in the cottage. We only had one night to stay this time. I will surely prefer to go back next time.

We had a beautiful cabin which was perfect. It was close to town but there is not much happening in Bicheno. At night you can hear the Tassie Devils and other wildlife which was nice. We loved this accommodation as it was cute and quiet. Check in was done contactless which we love.

this was a great property, really modern and high spec. Beautiful views. The doors to the outside were a concern as they automatically locked when you shut the door but with kids they could just easily open them from the inside and get outside. The front door at the bottom had a chain across but the door on the top floor (living space) went straight out onto a balcony and outside (a concern with a 3 yr old). Also on the dining table upon arrival was a collection of foods (noodles, timtams, local honey etc). We assumed it was a free starting pack but only once had opened the noodles and timtams did we see a very small price list under it all. not very clear and all very over-priced. so beware! We would definitely stay here again as a fantastic accommodation. Bicheno is a lovely, unspoilt place

Cute mini Cape-Cod house with lovely view through the trees to the ocean. Everything we needed was on hand. Quiet surroundings. Lovely coastal walk at the doorstep. Close to shops and Bicheno penguin tour.

Lovely little spot near the Bicheno Blow hole, and equally a short stroll into the township. The bungalow was clean and spacious, and offered us a nice little break away. Parking was a little tricky/ tight to get into, although there were plenty of other spots we could have used on the property ( we had a hire car that was a little wider than usual). Loved seeing the penguins and the locals are very friendly.

Love love loved my stay at Bicheno. Accommodation was massive for one person and so cute. Wish I had stayed longer. Easy to walk along the ocean side and close to seafood restaurants. (Chowder at the Lobster Shack was delish). Would love to return in the summertime.
