This was a great affordable place to stay. Walking distance to SMSU, which is what we needed, and right in the middle of everything the town offers. Very clean. Staff was great. Housekeeping checked on us to make sure we were good. Parking right in front of our room. Heater in the room worked beautifully for the polar artic storm that got us to -30 wind chill outside. We will stay here again. We will be back.

The reception was friendly and accommodating. Easy to access and park. The room was clean, but had a strong cigarette smoke smell. The carpet was old and the bed comforter had cigarette burns in the inside. Everything else was fine, nothing fancy for a travelers motel.

Sully the dog was the best. Roomy room. A little musty smelling but otherwise clean. Suggest an eye mask because of the flashing smoke detector light. It was nice ans quiet too.

Room smelled like wet dog, looked like there was puke on the peeling fake leather desk chair. No shampoos or hair dryer. Rented the room for 5 and there was 2 beds but only full size and no recliner or pullout couch for the 5th person. No liner in the ice bucket, dirty glass cups topped with plastic wrap.

Quick and easy check in. Room was updated and clean. Stayed 2 days and 2nd day they made bed, clean towels and emptied trash. Bed was comfortable too!

Had read reviews before booking and noticed that ‘cleanliness’ appeared repeatedly. The room is small, accommodations are modest but everything is CLEAN, including the shower curtain. If you stay, bring your own shampoo, moisturizer and hair dryer as they are not provided. The room did have a fridge and microwave. Comfortable stay for a tiny price.

Room was very clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. Only negative was the window in the room was one that couldn’t be opened. It was a bit musty, probably from not being used for awhile. I just left the door open for a bit and that helped. Bed was very comfortable and seemed to be bigger than the queen that I booked. It was a very quiet motel. I will definitely book here again if I’m in town.

For a one night stay this meet all our needs. It was easy to check in and clean. It had a high deodorant smell, a flashing green light on smoke/fire detector (until we hung a shirt over it). Compared to the competitors in town the price was reasonable and provide all we needed.

This is a GREAT hotel! Comfortable king size bed, nice tv with lots of channels, modern bathroom with super nice shower that has a wand! Great water pressure. Comes with mini fridge and microwave. Very NICE for the price! I’ll stay here everytime I come to Marshall.

The price was suspiciously low. Although it is an older motel, the room was clean, surprisingly had a king size bed, fridge and microwave, nice flatscreen tv, and towels were not paper thin. Don’t know what more I could have wanted. Yes u would stay here again. I travel overnight about 8 nights a month.

Stayed here when I was in town to DJ a wedding. The check in process was super easy, and I appreciated them letting me check in a little early so I could get to my gig and not have to check in in the middle of the night. Would totally stay again.

The place isn't fancy, but was very clean. The check in was fast. Was pleasantly surprised that the pet fee was only $10, which was very appreciated. The manager (owner?) was attentive but condescending. Lovely location next to the campus, which offered great walking options.
