Hôtel de France

The room was small, and the bathroom was tiny, and when using the WC. I had to twist my lower half because the washbasin was so near, your knees were out the door (and I am not very tall)! The proprietor, when he arrived to check us in was very obliging when we realised there were no restaurants open as it was Sunday, so we bought some snack stuff from a nearby shop and he kindly allowed us to use the garden and gave us some plates, cutlery and glasses to use. He then went off so we had to use the security door number to enter the premises. I was rather concerned knowing there was no staff or proprietor in the building if there had been an emergency in the night! We did not have breakfast, but it did look adequate as we looked into the restaurant on our way out. Would we stay there again,? not sure although it is a good stopover if catching the Dieppe ferry.

Gebouw heeft een vervallen indruk. Kamers vallen goed mee. Receptie te laat open en sukkelen bij inchecken. De prijs van de kamer maakt veel goed. Goed ontbijt. Groot parkeerterrein.

Convenable pour une nuit arrivée massive vers 20 h dune vingtaine de personnes fin de l’installation minuit. Impossible de laisser la fenêtre ouverte en cause le bruit extérieur. Le Wc coule en continu et j’ai failli perdre un orteil en entrant dans la douche

Mysigt, trevlig personal, härlig hotellbar

Terrasse ombragée agréable. Petit déjeuner passable. Pas de clim.
