The place is beautiful. The garden sublime. The pool very clean and quite with warm water and clean towels. The rooms were espectacular. The shower amazing. I booked a massage for 9 am next day and it was cancelled. Then re-booked for 4:30 and there was more than an hour delay so I ended not enjoying the masssge. This might have been a unique situation. But I was pretty much looking forward to that massage in my two day stay. The staff was amazing. Beautiful stay altogether.

Lovely room, very large and clean. Great bathroom - a compendium would have been useful, as the shower was very confusing. Had a very nice dinner and lunch in the restaurant, and the hot tubs were lovely. Beautiful garden area as well. The information on the webste mentioned laundry facilities, however a request to use a machine for one load (which we would do ourselves) led to such confusion and consternation, that we let it go. A shame, because there was not a coin laundry to be found, even after driving for more than half an hour. A similar level of confusion arose when we tried to use the $15 food and beverage voucher we had been given. I suppose the most concerning thing was the level of unconcern shown by the majority of the staff. The exception was the young man who was our waiter at dinner - friendly and helpful.

What a gorgeous place to disappear to, not too far outside of Montreal. The rooms and amenities are great, the staff friendly, and the surroundings immaculate. The gardens alone are beautiful to behold. We were just passing through, but I can totally see wanting to get away to this paradise for a few days, or even hold a wedding or other special event there!

Love this place! I have stayed here numerous times. Hidden gem in the woods. Great grounds well kept. Walking trails. Beds are super comfortable. Pool and hot tubs are great. Internet is good. It’s a great getaway not far from the hustle and bustle of Montreal. Highly recommend. Staff is super kind and goes the extra mile to assist.

Room was clean, staff was very courteous, helpful, and respectful of anglophones. Food was extremely high quality and flavourful. Grounds are not as interesting in winter as in summer but, if you're adventurous and have snowshoes, there's lots to explore, lots of nature. The hot tub water jets were not working, so that was a bit disappointing. Safety instructions were exclusively in French, which I think is an unforgivable policy. Auberge des Gallants is highly recommended - unfortunately it's in Quebec where there is a fascist gov't that does not allow English.

We stayed at Auberge Des Gallants as an alternative to staying at a Montreal hotel for the F1 Grand Prix and I am so incredibly happy that we did! The location was gorgeous - close enough to Montreal that the drive was reasonable but far enough away to truly feel like an escape from the city. Although the guest room was nothing particularly special (but still very clean and extremely comfortable), the rest of the resort was like a dream. The grounds are stunning, with beautiful gardens and so much wildlife that it felt like a fairy forest. The food was amazing - our dinner at the restaurant was quite literally the best food my boyfriend and I have ever experienced (I cannot recommend the scallop appetizer enough). The shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided in the bathroom instantly became a new favourite of mine that I’ll be ordering for myself at home. I was a bit concerned that we might have an issue because neither my boyfriend nor I speak French, but the staff were lovely and very helpful and the language barrier was not an issue at all. Considering how affordable our one-night stay was compared to Montreal hotels, we were extremely impressed with the quality of our experience. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough - after spending a single night there, my boyfriend and I knew this would become a special place for us and that we would absolutely be returning again.

La chambre était extrêmement spacieuse et le lit, d’un confort exceptionnel ... il était presque difficile de le quitter le matin. L’environnement est magnifique, calme et propice au repos. Mention spéciale au personnel, toujours attentif aux besoins et souriant, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à quiconque cherche une escapade relaxante, et c’est certain, j’y retournerai sans hésiter !

Acceuil ordinaire. J’ai posé des questions sur le vip ( crédit de nourriture) et l’employé a l’accueil était vague,semblait ne pas vouloir m’en faire profiter , cela semblait compliquer d’avoir le crédit . J’ai donc pas osé parler du surclassement de chambre et du départ tardif à cause de cela(autre avantage vip). Bref , le vip a servi à rien et je me sentais tout sauf vip 🙂. No drinkable water due to unexplained event, but would have wished to be informed prior to stay. No hot water 2 mornings because not enough clients. Very limited choice for dining, although excellent meal. Unannounced breakfast buffet because too many clients on Friday. Limited choice and almost cold. I have had a far better expérience at that inn a few years ago. Will not return.
