I booked 3 rooms for an event. While the facility itself is lacking (far parking, no full length mirror, no microwave), it would’ve been easy to overlook had the service been okay. Our key card stopped working within the hour of checking in and we were told the room door had to be reset, one of our guests took a long time to get checked in due to staff chatting about personal stuff (in front of her!), we had to ask for bathrobes and were given towels instead, food room service for a guest took 1hr and 45minutes - and had missing items once it arrived, our driver entrusted our car keys to the front desk (in a labeled envelop) and kid you not, when we went to claim it within the hour, the front desk lady had no idea where our keys were. Thank goodness one staff was attentive, knew what he was doing, and was there to do his job and more. His name is Roel. He’s not even the manager but he should be. The rest of the staff that weekend were clueless about what they were doing. There are cheaper hotels that have better service. PS Roel facilitated all the service recovery possible. Richmonde should promote him. The rest of the staff should undergo retraining.

Our stay at Eastwood Richmonde fell short of expectations for a 4‑star property. The Wi‑Fi was unreliable, and the lift often force shut, which caused some discomfort. For three out of the four days we were there, the hot water did not work, even after an “engineer” tried to fix it. Unfortunately, the issue was never resolved. The air conditioning did not cool properly, and the gym facilities were quite disappointing. Many machines lacked proper pins, and the equipment appeared outdated. A full refurbishment of the fitness area would be a great improvement. We also experienced repeated issues with the room key cards, which staff explained could demagnetize easily, requiring several trips to the concierge. The hallways were extremely warm, and the lifts were very slow, making it inconvenient for guests staying on higher floors. The only positive aspect was the hotel’s proximity to dining areas, which was very handy, and the staff were polite. Overall, the hotel did not live up to 4‑star standards, and there are several areas that need serious attention. Until improvements are made, I would recommend booking elsewhere.

The staff at this hotel were truly excellent—very nice, friendly, and respectful. Their warm service really made a positive impression and deserves a full 5 stars. That said, I would give the overall experience 3 stars. The hotel itself was a bit under my expectations, though it does have some nice outdoor areas to roam and relax in. The room was just okay—not particularly impressive, but it was clean, which I appreciated. One thing that surprised me was that the building didn’t have central air conditioning—only the room had AC. I’m not sure if that’s by design or due to a problem with the system, but it did affect the comfort level, especially in the common areas.

There was only one other party in the cafe, yet it still took 20 mins to be served our drinks, my husband being told after 20 mins that his choice of beer wasn't available. The hotel seemed more intent on catering for business functions rather than hotel guests. The food was cold and limited by 8.30-0900 breakfast and we had to sit in the foyer to eat instead of inside the cafe. The rooms were clean but our room had a musty smell as if it hadn't been used in a while. The shower took forever to drain and my daughter's room flooded. Numerous times her room card didn't work. Towards the end of our stay the corridor to our room smelled of sewage! Not pleasant! My daughter used the pool, which was freezing and stained her bikini bottoms on the step. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, just a pity the management of the hotel let it down.

Nice reception area, excellent gym facilities, good size suite room and excellent surrounding facilities with malls, F&B etc., but unfortunately that is where the positives end. The room came with unclean floors and bathroom had urine stains on the toilet seat. Best of all, room comes with guests in the form of cockroaches. Other points include unsecured safe, overheating kettle, an iron from the 60's and not all elevators working correctly. Overall, this is an old hotel with no good upkeep, housekeeping or management. It is the only hotel in Eastwood area so looks like I will have to bear with traffic and stay further out of the area for future.

I really love the location, however, the hotel is quite old. The worse for me is the urine smell (dog pee perhaps) in the lobby and it reaches the second floor. I try to avoid the lobby due to the obnoxious smell. The staff is great. They are all so helpful and accommodating. I will have to look for another to stay at when we fly back in a few months. Such a pity.

The rooms have been updated since the last time we stayed there in November 2022. The area around the hotel has an assortment of restaurants, shopping, grocery stores so if you forgot anything, you can readily buy it there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will plan to stay again when we fly back to Manila.

Richmonde is the perfect location to explore Eastwood .It is centrally located with dining and shopping options. Each of the staff was helpful and professional.The hotel suites were spacious, clean and updated . It was perfect for us to meet up with family during this trip to the Philippines.

Been here a few years ago property under going renovations. Room was clean and updated nice. Wifi signal was spotty and not very good, hot water temp in the bath was luke warm and bfast Buffett offering was minimal at best. Stayed there a few years ago and much better selections and offerings.

Nice reception area, excellent gym facilities, good size suite room and excellent surrounding facilities with malls, F&B etc., but unfortunately that is where the positives end. The room came with unclean floors and bathroom had urine stains on the toilet seat. Best of all, room comes with guests in the form of cockroaches. Other points include unsecured safe, overheating kettle, an iron from the 60's and not all elevators working correctly. Overall, this is an old hotel with no good upkeep, housekeeping or management. It is the only hotel in Eastwood area so looks like I will have to bear with traffic and stay further out of the area for future.

I booked 3 rooms for an event. While the facility itself is lacking (far parking, no full length mirror, no microwave), it would’ve been easy to overlook had the service been okay. Our key card stopped working within the hour of checking in and we were told the room door had to be reset, one of our guests took a long time to get checked in due to staff chatting about personal stuff (in front of her!), we had to ask for bathrobes and were given towels instead, food room service for a guest took 1hr and 45minutes - and had missing items once it arrived, our driver entrusted our car keys to the front desk (in a labeled envelop) and kid you not, when we went to claim it within the hour, the front desk lady had no idea where our keys were. Thank goodness one staff was attentive, knew what he was doing, and was there to do his job and more. His name is Roel. He’s not even the manager but he should be. The rest of the staff that weekend were clueless about what they were doing. There are cheaper hotels that have better service. PS Roel facilitated all the service recovery possible. Richmonde should promote him. The rest of the staff should undergo retraining.

They do not equally enforce dress code. We went to BREAKFAST in PAJAMA and the girl in the suit with short hair told us we cannot eat in dining area and had us eat in lobby. When we arrived we used the cafe for our evening meal. There was only one other party in the cafe, yet it still took 20 mins to be served our drinks, my husband being told after 20 mins that his choice of beer wasn't available. The hotel seemed more intent on catering for business functions rather than hotel guests. The food was cold and limited by 8.30-0900 breakfast and we had to sit in the foyer to eat instead of inside the cafe. The rooms were clean but our room had a musty smell as if it hadn't been used in a while. The shower took forever to drain and my daughter's room flooded. Numerous times her room card didn't work. Towards the end of our stay the corridor to our room smelled of sewage! Not pleasant! My daughter used the pool, which was freezing and stained her bikini bottoms on the step. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, just a pity the management of the hotel let it down.
