Days Inn by Wyndham Oromocto Conference Centre

Beware, make sure the elevator is working as we were put on the fourth floor with heavy luggage and no assistance from the hotel. The elevator was not working and apparently had not been working for quite a long time. The pool was also out of order.

It’s looking pretty run down inside, lots of wear. Price was “okay” but not great. Should be closer to $100/night, not what they’re charging. Another huge bummer is that they’re a five minute drive from the airport but there’s NO shuttle, so I had to get a cab for $41 just to find out it’s only five minutes away.

Clean rooms, quite and slept well. Unfortunately elevators were out of service. Stairs were only way up. Staff willing to help anyway possible.

The elevator is not working( I was told its been this way for months) they only let you know after your booked. The only access to upper floors is one stairwell on the far west end. The outdoor grassy areas smells like dog piss, as they do allow pets. Rooms are nice and clean. Property is starting to get out dated.

Great location just off the highway. The elevator was down which would have been better to know before booking. Staff member was very friendly. Only one stairwell from the lobby up to the floors so lots of walking. Room was clean and large. Hallways and stairwell still not updated but hopefully it’s on their list. Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. We didn’t go in the pool or gym.

The property was nice well maintained and easy to find. there should be a more designated smoking area, as after we parked we walked by about 4 people smoking by the front entrance. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the process was quick and easy. The fitness center is small, and there’s only one treadmill that seemed to always be in use. Overall we had a very nice stay, things were clean and the process was smooth!

Enjoyed the onsite gym & pool. Elevator wasn't operational during my stay which is problematic.

Carpet smells like.urine, elevator not working for months. Booked reservation months ago and told it would be fixed. Bugs on the second floor bathroom. Hotel in general not very clean.

The elevator was down. The guy at desk lied and told me it went down that morning and I found out it’s been down for days. My mother was with me and she’s 73 . I told the man at the desk the forth floor wouldn’t work for me as she has copd and has a defibrillator bc of previous cardiac arrest. He said best he could do was third floor. He ignored me and waited on the next customer. I feel he didn’t care about what I just said didn’t offer a refund . I also feel I should have been told when I booked 2 days previous as they were “waiting for a part “ for days previous .

Staff are exceptionally friendly and very accomodating. Only think negative I have to say about the Days Inn Oromocto, is the disgustingly filthy carpets in the rooms- and more specifically in the family suites....mostly stains and dirty areas. Some of the rooms have been replaced with wood floors the family suites are in DESPERATE NEED of floor sanitation and upgrade to the floors Small kids must be prevented from touching sitting or playing on the floor for sanitary reasons. other than the flooring conditions all was good

This was just a quick trip due to a funeral but this room was absolutely filthy. Unfortunately there were no other hotels around to switch to so we decided to stay but the room was very dirty. Won't be staying here again.

Apart from the elevators being out of service during my stay (which, admittedly, the hotel notified me of - but only AFTER having booked my stay), a few things detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay: 1. Upon opening my room door (316) a strange sweet smell emanated which, after some sniffing around, was coming from the AC/heater unit under the window. Every time the AC came on, the smell became reinvigorated. 2. There were silverfish bugs crawling around the tiled bathroom floor - disgusting. 3. I had to unscrew the bathtub drain because the tub was filling up as I showered. I pulled a huge clump of scummy hair packed in the drain plug receiver I tried calling the front desk to complain about these items, but the young man put me on hold, and I gave up waiting and just went to sleep.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and freshly made.

We booked the family suite. Honestly the room care by house keeping was fantastic. The room itself was not. The carpet was old and stained. The 3 upholstered chairs were faded and dusty and dirty. The couch was also dirty as in dated and worn. The bathroom and sink were spotless which tells me the housekeeping staff do a fantastic job with what they have to work with! It was a disappointment and so regret not speaking up when we arrived. We had two small Children who were tired and we did not have the energy to deal with it. We have stayed at the days inn in Oromocto many times over the past few years and have always loved it!

The room smelt of stale smoke and cheap cleaner. Floors looked dirty. Halls and stairwells stunk like a cheap apartment building. Elevator was out of service but to be fair they reached out to give warning. Breakfast had no hot options. Pool was dirty and freezing cold.

We stay here each summer when we road trip to Quebec. The staff are great! Rooms are always clean.

We have stayed with the Days Inn a couple times now. The last being a few years ago. The staff have always been very nice and helpful, I couldn't ask for more in that respect. We found a big difference in the condition of the room tho. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty charging ports for phones and whatever. Tho I do think the room could use a good deep clean. we could see lines of dust and dirt in some areas of the room.

The room was spotless. Quick and easy check in

The only thing I didn't like is that you hear everything. People walking upstairs, neighbors sneezing as if they're right there. But overall it was nice!

Two different stays in different nights. Both rooms the TV did not work. Second room the bathroom shower dripped all night. Mentioned to the front desk on departure. Only one staircase available during repair of the elavator. Not sure why the second staircase was not in use Continental breakfast is limited, no hot items like eggs, bacon or sausage. Quite dissapointing

We were surprised to only have space for four of us when we booked a room for five, but the front desk staff quickly brought us a cot. The breakfast was great. My only issue was the very noisy guests on the floor above. The soundproofing needs improvement.

Room was clean, but very hot. Also the staff yelling laundry as they put stuff down the laundry shoot and then letting it slam was a rude awakening first they in the morning. Elevator not working was alittle annoying.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Upon arrival, I was informed the elevator was not operational and that I would have to carry my suitcase up the 3 flights of stairs; no assistance was offered. The front desk was not overly empathetic. Once settled in my room, I attempted to turn the television on, only to discover the cable did not work. I contacted the front desk, and was told that they were not very tech savvy and that I could retrieve a printout from the front desk that contained instructions on how to use the remote for assistance?!? Retrieved; no surprise, the television still did not work. While the hotel is continently located close to the airport, I found the service to be very poor. I would not recommend.

Wifi was terrible

The fellow at the desk, Max, was amazing to deal with. He was so patient and kind. He even had an encounter with a woman who was hell bent on being miserable from the word go. She treated him so poorly yet he displayed and maintained stellar customer service skills even when most people would have called her out on it. Thank you Max!

The wall unit wouldn’t shut off so we had to unplug it. When mentioned to front staff was told there was no one to help. The elevators were not working and apparently hadn’t been for a time. I was asked if I knew this at check in. How was I to know that. I’m waiting for knee surgery and was placed on second floor. We couldn’t get the tv to work even after following the instructions and was told by front desk they didn’t know how to help I’ve stayed at many Wyndham properties in the last 3 weeks and was planning to stay at more in the next 2. Now rethinking that.

Staff are amazing. Beginning front desk to breakfast restaurant , all are friendly , helpful and nice.

Terrible experience. When we booked the room, we let them know that we would be arriving after 11pm. When we arrived at midnight, the boy at the front desk tells us that someone has already checked in to our room. I told him that is not possible, we just arrived. He then handed me a room key and told me I could go check the room to see who is in there. Excuse me, what?! We told him that we would absolutely not be doing that, so unsafe and unprofessional to even suggest. At that point, he goes and checks another room upstairs to see if anyone is in it before giving us the key - there was a stranger in there. We then asked if there are any cots available that we could pay to have in our (new) room, to which he rudely says no without checking. We then ask if we could have a few extra blankets and pillows to make a bed on the floor for the kid travelling with us, to which he says we could only have 1 and he would get it “later” - it’s now 12:15am. We proceed to our room and wait over 30 minutes, and to no one’s surprise, the boy does not arrive with any extra pillows or blankets. We call down to the front desk, 5 times. He lets it ring every time. We then walk down to the front desk 40 MINUTES after checking in, now almost 1 am, and the boy asks “oh, that was YOU just calling me?” in a VERY hateful tone. We then ask again could we please have some pillows & blankets? Which he reluctantly gave us 1. Such unprofessionalism, he definitely needs a lesson in customer service.

The staff are excellent.

Close to airport

Convenient hotel on your way to Halifax. We were driving from Montreal and it was nice to rest after an 8h trip. Its an older property and overall conditions are average. Not dirty, room was very clean. But the hotel carpets and walls have a lot of stains. Nothing much to do nearby. Its really a hotel to stop, rest and get going to your destination.

Very convenient for travellers being close to the highway. Lots of great food options nearby. I found the bed a tad uncomfortable but will stay again.

The property was of good value, not expensive, very clean, the staff were nice, good value for a basic hotel. Also a not too far of drive to downtown fredericton for a nice summer evening.

Lovely spot. Close to restaurants, airport. No traffic, its easy to get around.

Breakfast is included but is not that good. It's mostly bread, cereal and hard eggs. Options could be improved. The building is old, we heard the cracking wood when walking. There was even a water leak in the WC and shower. Mobiliarity seams to be from the 90's. We were there when the elevator was being replaced but we decided to stay there because was the best option price/near ev charger around Fredericton, and for one night was OK.

It was a good day. Continental breakfast was great. Friendly staff!

Chinese restaurant not up to par

Property is tired and in need of updating but staff were lovely and the in house restaurant “Carnatiob Chinese” is excellent

Well kept facility. 2 nd time we have stayed here. The restaurant had great Chinese food

Elevator was not working. The breakfast was a waste of time. We drove from Alberta to Nova Scotia and all the other hotels had decent breakfast. This one did jot have protein and just had cereals and bread - not even a balanced breakfast. Will never recommend this to anyone.

The restaurant is closed Mondays. Not on their website. The pool is closed. The elevator is not working. None of thids was posted on their web site. And to charge full rate is not acceptable.
