Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio NW near SeaWorld by IHG

Ants all over the smoke alarm... fell in my daughters playpen. Also, miscommunication led me to pay way more than i shouldve. Manager not helpful AT ALL. Will NEVER stay here again. Also, parkong sucks. Bars/buisnesses around have everyone park at the hotel and they do nothing. This is the second time we stay. First time we stayed the pipes burst. The alarms were going off all night.

Friendly, Professional staff, clean facility, candy bowls in the lobby is a nice touch.

The hot water did not work and all the phones on our floor were not working. We were not told about either of these things when checking in. They did fix the hot water within about 30 minutes. Room smelled damp and musty. Front desk was hospitable and responsive.

My truck got broken in in the parking lot. This ended up coating me my peace and spending extra money to cover the broken window and damaged inside my truck.

The pipes burst and the alarms went off all night. Did not sleep.

I felt safe and secure, bed was comfortable and able to sleep with no loud noise. Convenient to all my destinations.

Good overall Lots of pot smoking and loud music. Saturday night in front parking area Sunday night was fine.

Great service but VERY disappointed that their pool was closed for two of the three days we were there for maintenance. With 3 grandchildren in tow, not something we wanted to hear.

Have stayed at this hotel a couple of times & staff is always friendly and helpful, but I rhink this last time, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. The room had a funky, wet smell. Bathroom floor was dirty and bath tub had hairs. This time was very disappointing.

When I arrived I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone came to desk only after I started calling out for someone. The furst room smelled awful like pet urine. The smell was unbearable and requested another room. The next room was ok.

Everything was perfect until i'd came back in the evening that the hallway smell like sewer

Staff was friendly. Lobby tile floor looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned since the place opened. Was one of the dirtiest Holiday Inn Expresses I’ve been to.

The hospitality of the employees was definitely awesome but it's just an out of date property the bathroom smelled old like paint and urine other than that it was an overall good stay

We arrived at 1700 and it was hot in the room. However the sun shade was pulled all the way up and the sun was shining in the room. So I lowered it, we went in with our plans and came back to the room around 0030 and it was still hot in the room. Thermostat was stuck on 70. I tried to adjust from both thermostat on the wall (which didn’t even work- no display of numbers or anything) and on the AC unit and it did not change. Call the front desk and her and some guy came and pushed the same buttons I did. She said it is really hot in here. My friend asked for a fan and the clerk said the only fan we have is an industrial grade fan that blow dries carpet. I said well we can’t stay here can you please move us to another room. She said unfortunately we are booked. By this time is was 0100 and I said then just cancel my reservation and I was going to drive 2 1/2 hours home. When we came down from the elevator she said the manager wants them to try one more thing, I said we have tried everything it’s 1 AM, and I am hot and tired and it will take a long time to get it fixed. Plus check out would have been 1000, that’s not enough time to sleep. So we left. Now Holiday inn manager is not issuing a refund because she is stating the AC works now and I didn’t let them work on it this morning when I was having the issue. I am in contact with Travelocity which is trying to rectify the issue. But holiday inn is not issuing the refund.

It was old with a fresh paint job.

The stay itself was ok but the room was odd. The light switch was by the door but then there was an extended hallway then the room. Every time I wanted to turn the light I had to walk to the door. The toilet flushed hard… it sounded like someone starting the shower. The room was clean but it was an older room, probably an older building. The ac unit was loud, it made a funny noise. Overall the room was just ok.

Everything was nice. Front desk lady was very friendly at check point in. Room was nice and clean but a little musky smelling and the air only went down to 66 so sleeping was a little warm but the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and of decent size. I would stay at this location again. Also, plenty of eating places nearby.

Problems with the tv, not enough towels, bathroom mirror wouldn’t light up. Several issues.

Staff seemed tired and unwelcoming as we arrived, hotel smelled bad beds had hairs under the covers and looked dirty. Not family friendly. Kitchen staff were angry we accidentally dropped something.

Great location 15 minutes away from Fiesta Texas and Sea World. And the complimentary breakfast was great!

What I liked most is that it was quiet, easy access to the freeway, lots of good dining options nearby. Rooms were clean and staff was friendlyz

Everything was good just that the rooms look like they need some TLC but other then that it was good breakfast was good as well

The breakfast was great the first day. The second day was the exact same menu, but they added bacon (and only one of us was able to get bacon - they didn’t make more). Our room was mostly clean. There was a kid’s ball by the bed (left over from the previous family) which made us wonder if they vacuumed/cleaned the carpet. We checked in late so they shouldn’t have been in a hurry to get our room ready. Other than that, it was a great stay, very friendly staff!
