This is an amazing hotel, the public spaces were great, especially the art gallery and rooftop bar/lounge. The commonwealth restaurant was great for breakfast and the background music in the Commonwealth was that special attention to detail that set the perfect atmosphere.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing theme. I was able to check in early and I enjoyed every moment being there. I ate at the resturant attached to the hotel, and while expensive, it was super good food. Overall the hotel itself is amazing, buuuuttt... Several vehicles were broken into in their paid parking lot. 25 dollars a night and i saw at least 10 vehicles that had windows smashed in. I was fortunate in that my car wasn't broken into but i feel terrible for all the people who were. There was to be a security guard on duty, but if there was they definitely werent doing their job. As i was leaving i also saw signs up stating that Angad wasn't responsible for any theft in the parking lot, which is makes it worse for the several people that did get things stolen out of their vehicles. Its unfortunate that Saint Louis really lives up to its reputation. Because of this situation, i probably wouldnt stay again.

The hotel is very unique! You enter on the first floor, which is an art gallery, and then take the elevator up to the 12th floor to check in. It seems odd that the hotel lobby is on the 12th floor, but it definitely adds to the uniqueness of the hotel. Each floor is themed with a different color. Our floor was red, but there are also blue, green and yellow. The room was very spacious with a kitchenette/dining area and sitting area with a TV. The adjoining room has the bed, two wardrobes and the bathroom. The room was clean, but the sofa was stained in several places and could use a deep cleaning. The 6th floor also did not have an ice machine, although there was a bucket for ice. The hotel severs breakfast for a fee and also has a bar/lounge for drinks. There is parking onsite, but it appears you have to pay for parking. The gates were up while we were there, so we weren't charged, but there were parking rates listed on a sign, but it also said that hotel guests could take their ticket up to be validated, so perhaps you don't have to pay any longer??? We had a great time and would definitely choose to stay again. It's a perfect place to stay if you're going to the Fox or Powell Hall.

Clean room, very friendly staff, walking distance to the Fox Theater and to the Symphony. Great atmosphere. Roof top bar that overlooked the City was beautiful.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant for the most part. My vehicle was vandalized along with approximately 20 other hotel guests during the night. Someone broke the windows out of our cars. However, nothing was stolen. The room itself was nice. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Other than that, the stay was okay.

Such a fun property with so much to look at. Only negative was no vending or ice machines but reception staff got waters for us and charged to room so that saved the night :)

room is small and dirty. unclean mirrors, other peoples hair still on the floor. mysterious brown / white stains on the bedframe and nightstand. random hand marks on the walls, along with other people’s fingerprints all over the cabinets. FOUND ANOTHER WOMAN’S RING UNDER MY BED (EW!). no ice machine on my floor, and the ones on the floor above and below wouldn’t work. told the staff all of this and they just took off the $17 charge for the parking they make you pay extra for! the idea they are going for is nice though, the rooftop bar and restaurant is alright. just poor execution when it comes to cleanliness and commodities. for the price, you are better off booking somewhere else and just paying for an uber - if you’re going to the fox or campus.

Stayed one night in a blue room. 719. Property overall was great. So convenient for the Fox Theatre. Cleanliness is a different story. The bed sheet had a dozen or more stains (of all colors). Same with the pillow cases. The bath towels were frayed and unravelling. Found trash behind the couch. Toilet paper roll should have been changed. It only had a couple of squares left. Had the strong urge to shower as soon as we got home.

Found blood and urine in all 4 of our beds , our room promised after this discovery was given away, and the evening staff front desk women was extremely unprofessional and rude. Her and another staff member thought it was funny, therefore I believe she should be fired. The second room we finally got also had blood in the bed. This place is a huge health hazard, and the manager doesn’t even exist which we were told is normal. When asking for a receipt for the refund we were told no and given an attitude , and as we were leaving we saw crown linen truck in front where there were bins of sheets being thrown out after we complained. I personally believe they were covering up evidence. I will be sure to tell everyone not to go to this disgusting hotel with rude staff.

The hotel is marketed beautifully online. Rooms are themed as described. Reception staff was welcoming and kind. This is definitely a local boutique styled hotel. Not high end details. Some DIY design. My hotel room unfortunately was not cleaned well. There was dust everywhere: dresser, door handles, baseboards, fixtures. There was hair on the shower wall. Bedding is polyester. Pillows were hard. I had high hopes for a neat sounding place like this. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

The hotel is unique in its decor - overall artistic flair. We loved that, especially the entrance. The room was pretty and bright with yellow color coordination and exposed painted piping. Bathroom was clean and a great size. The only drawback was old bloodstains on the side of the bed cover that became easily exposed when bottom sheet shifted, as well as the curtains that had a few finger marks of bloodstain. This wouldn’t deter me from staying here again, it is just this attention to detail and willingness to throw away soiled bed covers. Otherwise room and property was clean / well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and the bar upstairs.

We prepared to get into the bed when we noticed several nasty looking stains on the sheets. Additionally, there were multiple holes in the bedding. My husband called the front desk and asked them to replace the bedding, and they said they’d send someone. 2 hours later, I had to call again to check the ETA and the lady at the front desk said she “was busy”, but would try to put in a request. We left for dinner, came back several hours later, and the sheets still hadn’t been changed. The lady at the front desk said she would send security up. Not sure if security changes sheets, but that was her solution. After 30 minutes, we still had no one come to the room. Finally, she asked if we just wanted a new room. What a horrible experience, and we’ll for sure never be back.

Unique color schemes - not a fan of the "red" room. Bathroom had no Kleenex, there needs to be an exhaust fan. Desk lamp didn\'t work. There needs to be light fixture over table between beds so you can just reach up and turn off the light without getting out of bed. Floor lamps in the corners force you to get out of bed to turn them off. Shampoo and body wash anchored to shower wall was hard to pump and use.

The bed was comfortable and the pillows were ideal! We stayed in the blue room and I liked the decor. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and watched a purple sunset. My only grips were the air conditioning was so loud and would kick on every 15 min and would make the door sound like it was opening which was jarring to hear in the middle of the night. Other than that, the hotel was lovely, I enjoyed the art show on the main level and no one was loud or obnoxious.

I was a bit irked that the gated surface lot was open to the public, but it made sense after visiting the rooftop bar. The room was small, but was fine for my solo travels. Rooftop bar was fun. I was also frustrated that the restaurant hours were listed, but their kitchen closed at 9pm (overall closes at 11pm).

The hotel was unique and had some cool furniture and art, but what was first cool and quirky soon became inconvenient and annoying. Such as the check-in desk being on the top floor of the hotel. Going up and down and up and down got tiring. Also the air-conditioning did not work properly. I switched rooms three times trying to get one that had a fan that stayed on. The room was either deathly quiet giving a rain in your ears or loud with people in the hallways or construction outside. And even in the night it was both too quiet and too loud. It's crazy to me and blows my mind that a semi/lux hotel could not come up with a single fan to provide airflow or noise. It felt like sleeping in a green concrete box. The only positive is that the dining downstairs had amazing food and relatively attentive staff.

The hotel is unique in its interior design and beautiful art. The bar o top floor is fun to visit and I love the spaces for hanging out. also recommend the restaurant downstairs. Everything was great, but my shower had almost zero water pressure. It was barely coming out. Being I was there for one night, I made it work. I told the front desk at check out. Everything else was awesome.

The staff was great. They were so friendly and treated us wonderfully. The decor of the hotel was beautiful and so fun to walk around and look at. Location was on point as we went to the Fox for a show. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

staff support was not there, awful customer service, night shift girl was in another world, very nonverbal, was not helpful, hotel was untrue about breakfast, there was no complimentary breakfast even after being told it was, later found out they tell everyone that. surprise fee of 25 bucks for parking, no one never mention it until last minute. I will not book this hotel again, worst experience for a hilton!

Although the hotel was visually creative and interesting, the poor staff service really stained my visit there. There was no water in the rooms, and when I asked to get bottled water, they said they only had soda. I have traveled the world and there is not one hotel I’ve ever been to that didn’t supply water to the guests. When I noted this to the hotel manager, her only response was “I travel the world too” and advised I use DoorDash. Also, our room didn’t get cleaned for 3 days and my laundry never got picked up, so when I went to complain, they told me there was a dry cleaner nearby. The rooftop bar is nice, the color themed rooms are nice, the artwork was beautiful, but it’s still not enough for me to ever go back to this hotel because of the poor staff service.

Upon arriving the front desk clerk did not look up from her phone - even though 3 people were standing there waiting. After finishing with the first person she still did not greet me or even look up until I approached the desk and asked to check in. She took my name, handed me a piece of paper to sign and handed me keys. There was zero explanation of parking, hotel amenities, food/drink, nothing. As a result when we tried to check out the rooftop bar later last night (10:15pm) we discovered that it had closed at 10pm. Overall disappointing service will have us not returning. We have a daughter at SLU for the next 3 years and have been looking for a hotel to be our go-to. Angad Arts won’t be it.

Stayed at the Angad Arts Hotel while visiting St. Louis for a concert at Chaifetz Arena. The area was nice and within walking distance to the concert. The penthouse restaurant views of the city were beautiful. This would also be a great place to stay if you were going to see a show at the Fox Theater.

This place is fabulous! We stay here when we come for concerts at the Fox. ONLY complaint was the bar was short staffed, and we could not get a drink, which for a concert night just shouldn't happen. Otherwise the stay was perfect.

This is an amazing hotel, the public spaces were great, especially the art gallery and rooftop bar/lounge. The commonwealth restaurant was great for breakfast and the background music in the Commonwealth was that special attention to detail that set the perfect atmosphere.

We loved the set up of checking in. The receptionist was friendly and checking in was quick and easy. The atmosphere was light and the exhibits were unique and the hotel restaurant had friendly service (a lot slow but I think they were understaffed) and the food was very tasty. We reserved the blue room...and got a blue room! The room was nice, clean, and the bathroom was very spacious with a large walk in shower. The parking was easily accessible and spacious. Will definitely consider staying here again next time we are in the area.

I could never really get breakfast, although the restaurant opened at 7pm. Two days in a row they weren't open or ready to serve until almost 8. The staff wasn't receptive to requests for clarity, except the cook. The bartender, Sam, was great. I was overcharged by almost $200 for my room and no one has answered my email to see what is the next step.

Great hotel! Staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Construction on the street so a bit difficult to find the entrance but parking was convenient. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site and the food was good. Would have been fun to have a night cap but everything shuts down at 11pm.

We loved this hotel! We were here with friends to see a concert at Chaifetz Arena.Our room was perfectly decorated, and clean. We visited the rooftop bar, and had breakfast. The only complaint we had is , the hotel is understaffed, especially at the rooftop bar, and at the dining room. The staff members that were trying to serve everyone, were very pleasant, but people had to wait quite a while, for a drink, and for their food for breakfast. Really cool hotel. Loved the art around every corner and the general vibe. The actual standard rooms were a little small but it was ok for a night. The rooftop bar has an amazing view but the food was a skip. So much great food close by, eat that instead!

Has a great roof top bar! Room was nice, a bit smaller than what we are use to, but the location makes up for it! 5 minute walk to the Sheldon or Fox theater, and next to the Powell Symphony Hall. Well worth it!
