Super central and convenient, top floor apartment with amazing views. Friendly staff!

Very central but quiet street Place is clean staff friendly .Can use kitchen Room rather small but otherwise ok

À notre arrivée le gérant nous a relocalisés dans un appartement un peu plus loin de l'hôtel. Certes plus grand car nous avions 3 chambres (nous n'en avions pas besoin et n'avions rien demandé) mais beaucoup moins confortable ! Les 3 chambres avaient des soucis de fenêtres, soit qui n'ouvraient pas, soit qui ne fermaient pas, soit les volets étaient cassés. Nous sommes restés 6 jours dans une chambre à Madère avec volets fermés ! Le lit et matelas étaient usés, inconfortable et bruyants. Les seules prises de courant fonctionnelles étaient dans la cuisine, les autres étaient vides ou déconnectées avec les fils apparents. L'appartement était vide, nous avons dû acheter shampooing, papier toilette, etc... Pour finir, nous avons profité des voisins qui faisaient des travaux à 22h plusieurs soirs de suite. Bref, nous avons payé le prix de l'hôtel sans en avoir les avantages et les services. Membre Silver depuis plusieurs années, cet hôtel n'est absolument pas recommandable sur Hôtel.com et j'attendrai un geste commercial, remboursement partiel ou nuit offerte ou avoir commercial.

Great stay as usual. Had room 101 the private terrace was a bonus. A big thank you to Tony,Alberto and Elda who cleaned my room every day. Will definitely stay there again. You have a good team there Sr Jaime.

Hotel muy descuidado, limpieza diaria buena, el recepcionista de dia genial y colaborador. El de la noche poco amable. Una cama muy bien, la otra el colchon ya no sirve. Ubicación genial. No hay aire acondicionado

I would not recommend it to anybody. What a disaster of a place. The room is so dingy. Blankets smell, pillows dirty, cupboard doors broken. The entire place smells bad. The washroom does not have a proper shower. It is a 2X2 feet tub with filthy curtain around it. The receptionist was pissed drunk when we got there. Wifi did not work. Please learn from our mistake and spend a bit more and get a nicer place than this crap.

O hotel não e nada limpo . Banheiro deixou muito a desejar . Local muito quente e móveis muito ruins . Quanto a localização e boa . Pessoal atencioso.

Clean room, friendly staff. But outside road is very noisy as well as the parrot in the foyer.

Was spotgoedkoop, erg vriendelijke gastheer en elke dag schoonmaak. Gebreken (geen airco, lichte badkamer schimmel) zijn wat mij betreft wel vergeven vanwege de verder algemeen positieve ervaring!

Room smelled like sewage. No AC. No screen on windows. Door was busted. Other patrons smoking in rooms next to us. Very uncomfortable bed. Got the job done, but would not stay here again.

It’s not what they say on the advertising the rooms are old and damaged really disappointed with the place wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Very well placed. Near city centre and walkable distances from a lot of places. There was room service and that was unexpected. They came daily and refilled toilet paper and towels. Great shops nearby. Not great building or bed but can do the work.

Foi nos atribuido um quarto muito pequeno, com banheiro minusculo, mal cabia uma pessoa.

Lugar excelente! Acomodação precisa de reformas! Sem frigobar, ventilador ou ar condicionado! Banheiro muito apertado e sem duche higiênica

Super séjour à Funchal, emplacement idéal dans le centre de la ville, a deux pas des commodités Tres bon rapport qualité/prix dans cette période de fin novembre. Arrivée et départ très pro et rapide. Un grand merci.

Para o preço não podia ser melhor estáva tudo bem o atendimento óptimo.

Cheap and great place at the middle of old city.

It was a nice place to stay for a few days. A little noisy from the street traffic

Chambre très petite pas confortable salle de bain très peu avenante. Beaucoup de bruit dans la rue. Nous ne recommandons pas.

2nd time ive stayed at Residencial Monaco and i enjoyed it.. Always stayed there as a solo traveller. Close by to bars a supermarket and cafe's, Only 8 minute's walk to the promenade.

The staff is helpful and the location is central. However the hotel is old and located in a noisy area.
