It was amazing, we had a great time and the room was beautiful with a great view. We encountered one problem. After using the onsen facilities including the dry sauna, the next day, the rooms were swapped. The women's room became the men's and the men's room became the women's room. The steam room in the men's room was out of order which was disappointing. We went to this hotel for the their onsen (hot springs) facilities, I wish we were told in advance that the steam room was out of order. We did not enjoy all of the facilities especially after paying such a high price for the room.

We visited for two nights and three days to celebrate our daughter’s second birthday. I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every staff member for their exceptional kindness and hospitality. Thanks to all of you, we were able to create truly special memories for our daughter, who has just turned 24 months old. Everything—from the cleanliness of our room, the quality of food and beverage outlets, to the pool and onsen—was outstanding. I would gladly give a perfect score for all the facilities and services. Special thanks to Faye for assisting with our check-in, and to Takamura and Oishi (apologies if I’ve misspelled your names) for helping us make a restaurant reservation in Beppu city. I’m also thankful to the staff who kindly assisted with check-out and valet service around 11 a.m. on the 19th. While I may not remember every name, please know that we truly appreciated everyone’s efforts. As a five-star hotel, the facilities and services were, of course, excellent—but what made our stay truly unforgettable was the warm and genuine hospitality of the staff. My wife, daughter, and I were able to enjoy a wonderful, happy holiday thanks to all of you.

As a 5 stars hotel entitled with “Intercontinental” and under “IHG Group” they should be thankful to all international staffs who willing to work at this hotel. They had presented hospitality and deserved to be complimented. I was bringing my best hope and expectation to book this hotel. I had much appreciated the check-in staffs who had upgraded a city view room for our stay however the cleanliness was terrible, full of dirty marks on carpet, dirty sheet cover made me and my parents got itchy after seat on bed…the housekeeping after the second day didn’t tidy up and stocked back the room well.. I am so thankful to all international staffs from doormen, concierge and FOH although I can’t pronounce their name properly i was sorry, I do believe they need more training about their service attitude for local staffs if this hotel would love to stay their market customers. The breakfast they have which is so basic and nothing have to be surprising, I will rather spend these price to local hotel instead but will never recommend or return.

Our stay at this resort was immaculate. Upon arriving at the hotel, staff promptly came out to take our luggage to our room and chauffer our car to a separate parking lot, all included in our stay. I decided to splurge here for me and my girlfriends anniversary and it was worth every single penny! Everything from the impeccable service to the beautiful interior and lobby was spotless and breathtaking. Instead of checking in and out at a front lobby near the entrance, guests are ushered into a separate lounge provided with refreshments. The staff assigned to us was professional and yet friendly and down-to-earth, assuaging the initial discomfort me and my girlfriend had at being unaccustomed to such high-class service. Soon we were in a pampered and relaxed mood, as expected of such a high class resort combined with Japan's famous hospitality omotenashi. Soon we were brought to our suite, which was absolutely incredible. The interior was spotless, the bathroom spacious and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were perfect, everything from the surround sound in every part of the room to the dimmable lighting. Last but not least, the view from the balcony overlooking the Beppu coast was a priceless sight we will never forget, especially when combined with our heavenly private onsen bath. I will most certainly be back one day to relive this 5 star experience. Look no further for the pinnacle of private onsen resort relaxation than this hotel!

Soon we were in a pampered and relaxed mood, as expected of such a high class resort combined with Japan's famous hospitality omotenashi. Soon we were brought to our suite, which was absolutely incredible. The interior was spotless, the bathroom spacious and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were perfect, everything from the surround sound in every part of the room to the dimmable lighting. Last but not least, the view from the balcony overlooking the Beppu coast was a priceless sight we will never forget, especially when combined with our heavenly private onsen bath. I will most certainly be back one day to relive this 5 star experience. Look no further for the pinnacle of private onsen resort relaxation than this hotel!
Our stay at this resort was immaculate. Upon arriving at the hotel, staff promptly came out to take our luggage to our room and chauffer our car to a separate parking lot, all included in our stay. I decided to splurge here for me and my girlfriends anniversary and it was worth every single penny! Everything from the impeccable service to the beautiful interior and lobby was spotless and breathtaking. Instead of checking in and out at a front lobby near the entrance, guests are ushered into a separate lounge provided with refreshments. As a 5 stars hotel entitled with “Intercontinental” and under “IHG Group” they should be thankful to all international staffs who willing to work at this hotel. They had presented hospitality and deserved to be complimented. I was bringing my best hope and expectation to book this hotel. I had much appreciated the check-in staffs who had upgraded a city view room for our stay however the cleanliness was terrible, full of dirty marks on carpet, dirty sheet cover made me and my parents got itchy after seat on bed…the housekeeping after the second day didn’t tidy up and stocked back the room well.. I am so thankful to all international staffs from doormen, concierge and FOH although I can’t pronounce their name properly i was sorry, I do believe they need more training about their service attitude for local staffs if this hotel would love to stay their market customers. The breakfast they have which is so basic and nothing have to be surprising, I will rather spend these price to local hotel instead but will never recommend or return.

Resort was amazing with great onsen. We stayed in all through our stay because of snow and it was so nice and cozy. French restaurant within the hotel was also superb. When we were leaving- we had to put on snowchains because of the snow and it was such a hard work and the staff (Takahashi and few other staff were there for us) was so helpful and put them on our tires for us. Also I left my novel in the room and they are shipping it back to me for free and i am very grateful. Thank you so much for the amazing experience.
