Lovely ambiance, spacious and functional rooms, quiet (adults only), attentive helpful staff, well located near shops and restaurants. Private parking. Good restaurant (we had breakfasts and lunch). Nice (little) pool. Definitely recommend.

Just a note, the room had some debri on the floor throughout the room. The pool has been dirty all day and there is currently a bag of chips floating in the pool for the last couple of hours. All good, but for as slow as it is, it should probably not happen. The woman who checked us in was incredibly nice and accommodating.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Purified water available at the bar and in your room each day. Just out the front door is the main plaza. Make sure to attend Thursday night Art walk. Local vendors and artisans selling food, jewelry, and art. Great for one of a kind pieces. Other shops and restaurants line the square. Dining-Be sure to eat at Mara, La Dulce, Garage (lunch), and of course Mi Cochina @ casa Natalia. A couple of things to inform your decision-lots of stairs. Parking is down the hill behind the hotel. Hotel backs up on a busy street and there will be road noise. Seems to quiet down by 10:00 on week nights. Nice to know-we had steak leftover from a meal and Cesar ensured us that the kitchen at Mi Cochina would be able to heat it up for us. German steak and a few vegetables and bought us a feast. Thank you so much. It was delicious the second time around. (We also purchased a nice beet salad to go with the steak.)

Really cool hotel with a great pool in the patio. The staff was very friendly during check in and at the bar/restaurant. I liked my room, but it had almost no natural light (not their fault). I didn't love that it was a shared balcony with the room next door (it didn't feel super secure as a solo woman traveler). Room was very clean and spacious and had good air conditioning. The first night there was some huge event going on until late into the night with music blasting, which they apologized for and said that it was not normal at all to have the noise. Sure enough, it was really quiet the next night. I would definitely recommend this spot for people who want to interact with San Jose del Cabo instead of being at the beach resorts.

Very authentic Mexico feel to the decor. The owner Natalia greets guests extremely warmly by going beyond helpful. She talked us into staying and eating in the restaurant on site and we were blown away! Best food we had in Mexico this trip (2 weeks). Warning that this would not be the place to stay if stairs are an issue. They are everywhere and no elevator. That being said the bell boy was amazing and insisted he take all of our luggage up three flights and smiled and offered info about the area the whole time. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay downtown.

Casa Natalia is in a perfect location with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach was about a mile away and provided a nice running path to/from the hotel and the avenue by the beach. The pool was small but perfect for our group. The balcony was a lovely spot to relax.

We have been to Mexico now close to 30 times. We normally would have stayed on a beachfront property, but we decided to give a downtown property a try. This is not a large property, however, it is run to a very high degree when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance.

Excellent location- steps to great restaurants, art galleries, plaza etc. We had a room on third floor closest to a busy roadway and found it very noisy with traffic, and sirens all night. Could hear music playing until 1am and a rooster started crowing at 4:30. Perhaps lower rooms closer to main area would be quieter. Room needed a good cleaning, seemed tired. Staff were great.

This is a beautiful, clean, quiet and safe property in an excellent location to walk to everything. The bed was comfortable, the included breakfast was very nice. The pool is a great spot to relax and soak up some sun. We enjoyed our stay. The down side was lack of hot water in the shower; at best it got slightly warm which was irritating for a high end hotel. As well, we asked for another bottle of water in the room so we wouldn’t have to walk down three flights of stairs to fill the single bottle that was provided in the room, but were told we had to pay for it. Seems a strange thing for an expensive hotel not to accommodate. Bartenders were nice, as were serving staff. Restaurant was good but pricey, but there are lots of other excellent dining choices nearby. Be aware that there are lots of stairs, if you have any mobility issues.

Lovely property in an excellent location. So charming and the rooms are nice, spacious. My rating would be higher if I didn’t have ants everywhere in the room. I noticed them when I arrived in my room and was told they would deal with them the next day. I don’t understand why I wasn’t given a different room since the property was not even half full. The wi-fi was terrible. The chicken with chocolate pepper sauce was excellent.

We loved our stay at Casa Natalia. Everyone who works there is lovely. The location is fantastic. The hotel and rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I can't say enough how much we liked staying there. 100% recommend and we would stay there again.

Wonderful stay overall in a great location, but some shortcomings: no phone in the room and hence had to walk to frontdesk with questions about wifi hookup. Second, while room service food was tasty and well served, the calamari and seafood risotto portions were small. Shower was old and a bit grimy. Finally, this boutique hotel is lovely overall, but overpriced considering the flaws I mentioned.

Todo fascinante y encantador, lo único que les comento, para mejorar, es que tenía que pedir que me limpiaran el cuarto (y un día no lo limpiaron), si no, no lo hacían, además solo hacían la cama, no trapeaban ni limpiaban lavabo ni nada más... La limpieza es muy importante para mí. Gracias.

Not welcoming upon arrival...at check in we were asked to wait till the man checking us in was done with his conversation with an employee. Dirty dirty dirty first room moved us into another room which they then sanitized. I had welt like bites everywhere from whatever was in sheets, bathroom, shower etc.,.no one is at fault will never go back to that area in Los Cabos again.

Casa Natalia is a lovely little place nestled across from a downtown square. You can't beat the location for convenience and everything except the swimmable beaches were within walking distance. The staff Ceasar, Anjelica, Eduardo, Enrique, Diego and so many others made our 10 day stay so relaxing and pleasant and worked so hard to keep the hotel and restaurant neat and tidy and running smoothly. Anjelica in particular was right there to address any requests we had - housekeeping, beach club reservations, taxis, etc., and also to greet us with a warm smile everytime we returned to our room. There were some minor issues but nothing really disruptive for us. Fair warning for others though that the bed we had was very very firm. Thankfully we were ok with it but this may be an issue for anyone who needs more comfort. Also, because it's right "downtown" it is fairly noisy early in the morning and late in the evening (traffic and late night bands). Earplugs work wonders! Another slight disadvantage is that there's no all inclusive and there is no coffee or fridges in the rooms. There is however, wonderful complimentary coffee/tea and drinking water at the bar, so you don't need to buy bottled water unless you prefer (tap water not recommended for drinking). A private patio with table and chairs and a hammock was a really nice feature that we used every morning. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would stay again. Thanks everyone at Casa Natalia!

As an architect, I appreciated the way the space was designed. Our room had tall ceilings and large windows that let in the east light balanced by small trellised windows on the west that let in air yet kept out afternoon heat. Beautifully proportioned with complete privacy, even on the large private exterior area (complete with hammock!). Public areas (dining, pool, oyster bar) were similarly well proportioned, open to the sky and isolated from the city, an oasis of peace. The true joy came from the staff and management. Natalie, Cesar, Ricardo, Angelica, on and on: each and every person there went out of their way to ensure our experience was exceptional.

Excellent location- steps to great restaurants, art galleries, plaza etc. We had a room on third floor closest to a busy roadway and found it very noisy with traffic, and sirens all night. Could hear music playing until 1am and a rooster started crowing at 4:30. Perhaps lower rooms closer to main area would be quieter. Room needed a good cleaning, seemed tired. Staff were great.

Lovely hotel for a couple of nights stay. Would have liked a fridge and coffee maker, even though there was free coffee ready at 7:00 am in the bar area. Staff were great. Food and drinks very pricey, but excellent.

The property itself is situated very well at the downtown plaza. The pool was great 4.92ft deep. The biggest issue was sleep quality. The bed in our room was very hard and lumpy on one side. And the traffic noise was terrible. We ended our stay short here due to lack of sleep. There is a bar/club right next to the property that plays loud music until 3am and the rooms do not dampen the sound well. Amazing property, staff, food, massage service was great. Its just very hard to get a good rest here.

Really cool hotel with a great pool in the patio. The staff was very friendly during check in and at the bar/restaurant. I liked my room, but it had almost no natural light (not their fault). I didn't love that it was a shared balcony with the room next door (it didn't feel super secure as a solo woman traveler). Room was very clean and spacious and had good air conditioning. The first night there was some huge event going on until late into the night with music blasting, which they apologized for and said that it was not normal at all to have the noise. Sure enough, it was really quiet the next night. I would definitely recommend this spot for people who want to interact with San Jose del Cabo instead of being at the beach resorts.

The hotel is nice. The food is terrible. And overpriced Also, the Wi-Fi is horrific if you’re staying in a room that is below the pool be prepared to not be able to do anything. They also should upgrade their TV so that people can use their own Netflix accounts and what not.

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Pool very nice. Spacious rooms. Really nice welcome with cold towels and hibiscus agua fresca as we checked in. Showers were poor, took a long time to heat up to barely lukewarm with terrible water pressure. 7am complimentary coffee not available as advertised. Adults only but children are allowed in the restaurant which is in the central courtyard so you can definitely hear them all around the hotel when they are there. Hosts could be a little overbearing. Insisted on speaking English despite my initiating conversation in Spanish. I'm not English, we're in Mexico, that's not a plus for me. For this price, I would probably investigate other options if I went back.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Natalia for one week in February 2020, just before the world shut down. We returned for four days during May 2023, and sadly found that the hotel we had once greatly enjoyed had changed since COVID. Gone were the delicious breakfasts served to your dining balcony just off your room. Now, $20 USD is the charge for a meager choice between a parfait or eggs, with fruit or orange juice, down at the dining area. Gone were the friendly staff; with a few notable exceptions (the housekeeping staff), most staff we encountered seemed grumpy and impersonal, and often passive aggressive. The grounds were clearly a little neglected (vegetation needs pruned in areas where guests walk, pools of stagnant vegetation-filled water need cleaned before they become mosquito breeding grounds). Coffee was to be ready for guests down at the bar from 7 to 11 a.m. but not once was it truly ready at seven. We were chastised for asking more water from our room when we were actually supposed to take our empty bottles to the bar to have them refilled with filtered water; however, nowhere in the guest instructions provided at check-in were these instructions provided. The pillows on the bed were obviously old: flattened and lumpy. It just wasn’t the great stay we had in 2020. The location is fabulous, and inside the walls of the hotel it is generally quiet and peaceful. We’ve referred friends and relatives to stay at Casa Natalia (and several did) we can sadly no longer do so.

Beautiful property. Great privacy right in the middle of town. Quiet and clean. My only complaint is about service in the restaurant. Food and drink took a long time to arrive, but then servers seemed to be pushing us to leave. Plates were cleared while one of us was still eating, which seems quite rude. This happened at each of the several meals we ate at Mi Cocina, even when the restaurant was nearly empty. I would suggest that the servers be instructed to allow diners a leisurely meal, rather than rushing them out. The food itself was delicious and well-prepared. We just expected to be allowed time to enjoy it.

Check in was OK except that they require that they write down your credit card info including the CVV (security number) which I was not at all comfortable with. There is no elevator and because my friend and I have mobility issues we had to wait 2 hours to have our luggage brought to our room and had a similar issue with bringing our luggage down when we checked out. There was no hot water in the shower. Even though they have a placard out front advertising their restaurant, we attempted to order and it was easily an hour before we were finally told that their kitchen isn't open on Sundays. The property is very welcoming and appealing but we won't stay here again given all of the issues mentioned.

The hotel is beautiful and the service is wonderful. Parking is a ways away, but Cesar walked to our car where my husband was waiting and drove him to the front of the hotel, unloaded our bags, and then parked the car. He was so kind! I was given a delicious refresco and scented towel while I waited.

The day we arrived there was a power outage, not the hotels fault but the way it was handled was awful. We were sitting at the pool for over 5 hours since it was too hot in the room and there was no running water. We were checked in on 1x, there was no other customers at the hotel so not sure why nobody could come update us or just offer some ice water since we were dying in the heat. Also if you have mobility issues, this is not a great hotel for you. My mother has limited mobility and there are stairs everywhere, to the rooms to the pool to the front desk, everywhere! Then my sister in law got locked out of her room and they couldn't get the door open, she had to jump through a window to open it herself because they said they couldn't get a locksmith. After sharing our concerns the manager offered us a single hotel room at another hotel for the night while things were fixed. We originally booked 2 rooms with them, once I pointed that out she offered us 2 rooms. We ended up staying at the other hotel because we didn't want any more stress or tension on our trip. Again there are things that hotels can't control like power outages, but the way you handle it or customer concerns makes a huge difference.

I had multiple emails back and forth with Angelica arranging transportation to and from the airport and requesting a specific room. She always answered promptly and she was able to accommodate all the requests I had. The restaurant staff are very friendly and after eating dinner there on the first night greeted us warmly each time we saw them during our stay. The owner is also very welcoming and asked us regularly if there was anything we needed. The location couldn't be better for shops, restaurants, and activities in the square such as the Art Walk on Thursday night. I would highly recommend Casa Natalia.

You can't beat the location of Casa Natalia. If you want to be in the heart of San Jose del Cabo, it is the place to be. The staff is lovely, the property and the pool were wonderful, and the Thursday night art-walk was right outside our front door. I would recommend trying the restaurant in the hotel as well - the food was excellent (especially the seafood risotto and the octopus).

Casa Natalia is a wonderful boutique hotel nestled in art distric t of San Jose de Cabo. There are a number of wonderful restaurants around and it's ambience is amazing. The surrounding plaza is great for exploring the culture and experience of Cabo.

Casa Natalia is in a perfect location with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach was about a mile away and provided a nice running path to/from the hotel and the avenue by the beach. The pool was small but perfect for our group. The balcony was a lovely spot to relax.

Loved the central location. The staff made us feel like family. Always friendly and eager to help. Great to have an in house restaurant when we didn't want to leave and go out. You must try the chooxlate chicken!

I would recommend trying the restaurant in the hotel as well - the food was excellent (especially the seafood risotto and the octopus).
You can't beat the location of Casa Natalia. If you want to be in the heart of San Jose del Cabo, it is the place to be. The staff is lovely, the property and the pool were wonderful, and the Thursday night art-walk was right outside our front door. Room spacious, beautiful. Everything clean and quality. Good temperature control in room. Attractive grounds with pool and hammocks. Excellent on site restaurant. Would return in future.

We loved Casa Natalia. Wonderful staff and it’s an adorable spot. Location is amazing. The restaurant is excellent, but we didn’t eat there much because the town has so many amazing spots within a few minutes walk.

The staff called a taxi asked us to pay them for it. We questioned that but they assured us that is what they did. Stood with us vouched for the taxi that came and then at the airport the taxi insisted we pay them and said “no the hotel wouldn’t pay them”?? A scam by hotel?
