Shui Sha Lian Hotel

Staff were quick to bring extra pillows when requested. Nice room facing the lake, a bit noisy though because of people walking along the lakefront. Very good location, with convenient stores and souvenir shops around. Room was clean, and a shower curtain would have been nice. The bathroom floor was so wet after a shower, and only one foot rug was available. Wet floors could be a hazard, much more for someone getting off the tub. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its location, and clean room. Breakfast was ok, more of local dishes.

The hotel consists of two conjoining buildings. One is in the middle which is remodeled and is modern look. The other one is on the corner that it was dated. We chose the middle building with renovation. Our room looks sleek and modern. Everything inside the room was good except for the bathtub lacking a shower curtain. Every time we took a shower, the entire bathroom including the sink, vanity top, and floor became wet. There was drinking water provided on every floor and also inside the rooms. Staffs were friendly. Breakfast was good. Location was good as it took about 7 minutes to walk to the main bus station.

Check in is quick. The room is small for a family of 4 people. No room to put your luggages. Location is strategic and walking distance to pier. Water dispenser (hot and cold) in the room is an excellent idea. Free buffet breakfast is an added advantage when the shops around are still not open early in the morning. The bathroom is disappointing because there is NO shower curtain at the bath tub. Water splashed and wet the entire floor.
