Paredes muy finas y se hoye el ruido de los otros huéspedes y de la gente que sube y baja por las escaleras, al igual que la luz de las escaleras. La recepción está en una primera planta sin ascensor, y la habitación en la baja, con lo que hay que darle un paseo a las maletas bastante regular. La habitación es minúscula, y todavía no he logrado descubrir como se apaga la luz desde el interruptor de la cama. Y el nivel de ruido era tal que si el vecino ronca, parece que este en tu cama La calefacción se enciende a las 17:00. Y todo esto (hostal nivel bajo) por más de 125€ la noche.

Calidad precio para la zona bueno. Personal amable todo muy limpio. Como información el baño de uso individual en mi caso estaba fuera de la habitación pero tenía llave propia. Mejor no tener sueño ligero porque la ventana sin persiana da al hueco de la escalera, puede que te despierte cada vez que se enciende la luz y como se lee en otros comentarios se oye todo. Conversaciones y cañerías.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS REALLY UNPLEASANT. I booked a single room with shared bathroom. There were 2 bathrooms, one with hot water and another one without. Everyone would choose the one with hot water for showering, so do I. But I realised they locked that bathroom. I thought someone was inside so I decided to delay showering the next morning but it was still locked. Then I knew they locked the room instead of it being occupied. At the end I did not shower, I was so greasy! SO NASTY I don't understand why did that happen it is just UNACCEPTABLE. This service is so basic.

Estuve alojada 3 noches en el hostal. La ubicación y la atención del personal fue excelente. Yo elegí una habitación sencilla con baño compartido. Estaba a muy buen precio, limpia y yo tenia bajo presupuesto. Pero no es una habitacion que recomendaria. Entraba la cama y un pequeño armario y unos estantes. Apenas podia moverme y mi valija mediana con suerte la pude hacer entrar. No tiene ventilación. Senti que estaba en la habitación debajo de la escalera de Harry Potter. El baño compartido estaba en el pasillo pasando el escritorio de la recepción, cosa que me incomodaba si pasaba en pijama o con la toalla luego del baño. Habia un radiador en la habitación que no usé a pesar del frio porque al no tener ventilación no hubo necesidad. El lugar bastante ruidoso y se escuchaba muy fuerte la cañeria de la habitación de al lado. Seguramente el error fue mío en no ver bien las especificaciones de esta habitación. Si vuelvo, elegiría otra con baño privado y ventana. Esta no se la recomiendo a nadie.

Buen lugar para un par de noches en el centro de Madrid, muy pequeña la habitación y en verano debe ser muy caliente, no tiene mucha ventilación y cuando prenden la luz de pasillo escaleras se mete al cuarto, pero la ubicación es inmejorable.

The hostel is great if you are not alone. I went solo and stayed at a private room. It was very small yet had everything - nice bed, closet, mini refrigerator, A/C etc., the only thing missing was a window. I could not know whether it was morning or night. Also the bathroom was far from my room. I saw other rooms had windows and bathrooms so i think the problem exists only in solo rooms. The hostel was very clean, wifi worked well and staff were helpful and nice. Overalls i recommend if you're not spoiled. And the location is great.

La ventana da a las escaleras, continuos ruidos de la puerta del portal.Cada vez que subía alguien se me iluminaba toda la habitación. La habitacion que me asignaron extremadamente pequeña, jamas habia estado en una habitacion asi de pequeña, el calor insoportable mas aun que te ponen un ventilador de esos cuadrados que no ventilan para nada tuve que pedir otro ventilador de pie. La ubicacion muy centrico a 2 cuadras de la Gran Via, la recepcionosta muy amable lo unico que el Check Out es a las 11 am.

New Go Inn was located in a very friendly neighborhood and made it easily accessible to the Gran Via and all of the main tourist sites. I must also commend the workers and the comfortability of the place as well as the welcoming environment toward lgbtq people. Definitely recommend this hostal for all travelers to Madrid.

It is smack right in the centre of everything - subway, bus stops, restaurants, shopping, tourist areas, entertainment district, Parque El Retiro, the Prado museum, etc.all within walking distance. Taxis can be flagged a few steps away from your room. Even Puerta de Atocha is closeby. The room is clean and I have a bonus of an en suite bathroom all to myself. Muy perfecto!

It is smack right in the centre of everything - subway, bus stops, restaurants, shopping, tourist areas, entertainment district, Parque El Retiro, the Prado museum, etc.all within walking distance. Taxis can be flagged a few steps away from your room. Even Puerta de Atocha is closeby. The room is clean and I have a bonus of an en suite bathroom all to myself. Muy perfecto!
