Amazing! Second time here and we’ll keep going back! So friendly! Neat rooms - this time we stayed in the train car and the upgrades are amazing. Rooms are spotless! Enjoyed a fire in the fire pit with others staying there - so nice! And, the wooden chairs around the fire were super comfortable. (I’m going to reach out to find out where they bought them!) We’ll be staying here again and again for sure!

Easy check in. But no elevators. Lots of steps to 2nd floor. I walk with cane so fortunately my son was able to carry luggage up. If not for him, then couldn’t do it. Although they did offer to carry up luggage.

The only thing I would like to see changed is the lighting on the porch.. it was not very convenient to put in the code without more light.. if have a motion sensor light to shine on keyboard would help with my elderly eyes… I did really like the code system..that was very slick.. would highly recommend this property..

The suite that we stayed in was very roomy and well equipped. We had a little trouble with the TV but with a call to the staff we resolved the problem. Be aware that there is a flight of stairs that was steep.

The stay was great! It was quiet and pleasant stay. They have a porch full of seating to sit on. Wish hotel.com would have booked all three nights in same room. Was not Inn's fault that they had to switch our rooms. Would go back and stay there again.

The bathroom floor wasn't cleaned. Rhe girk at the front desk wasn't very friendly at all. It's almost like we were bothering. I didn't like the location if the room, as it was next to their laundry. The parking lot had potholes. It was a liability.

It was a sisters trip for fun. We enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Creek Village Inn. Next time we go, we will see if we can rent a room in one of the cabooses. The Inn was very clean. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and ice were available right outside our room. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and nice.

We enjoyed our stay in Sugar Creek. The motel was in walking distance of the downtown businesses and Baggs restaurant. Our room was clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend.(The carpet could use a once over with the carpet scrubber)

We stayed in the train car room number 12. This is an older facility. With taxes, we paid a $130 to stay there. And I would say that this is more of a 60 to $70 facility. The bed was comfortable. The sheets and pillowcases were clean. The room is very small. The bathroom is extremely small, similar to one you would find on a cruise ship in an interior cabin. The maintenance was not up-to-date. As the toilet paper roll dispenser was partially pulled off the wall. The toilet seat needed some repair. Overall for the price it is not what you would expect.

What a wonderful facility! The room was spacious, with state-of-the-art amenities (including the bathroom) ... and it was immaculately clean. The room even included a heated massaging chair! The facility, being on a side street, was extremely quiet and peaceful. My best hotel experience in years!

Town was underwhelming. Air conditioning would shut off and stay off after one cycle. You had to switch it to fan mode for a couple of minutes and then switch it to a/c mode. We stayed in the train car. It was small and the mattress was horrible. The cuckoo clock is cool, but you could spend an hour in this town and see everything.

My husband and I had tickets for a concert at the Amish theater. We Plan to be there for just one night. We were basically just going to sleep. When we arrived, we were greeted with a smile. The rooms were very clean, beds and pillows comfortable. We had a room with two double beds. The bathroom was rather small with a tub/shower. We will definitely be staying again when we’re in the area.

Has rooms 7 to ten that are located in basement. Wifi doesno work in these rooms. No way to tell what room you will get when booking, Room 10 has hole in cieling, No safety grab bars in bathroom or shower., no phone to use if needed for emergency, No restaurant or vending machines, otherwise just peachy. Not in the best area.

Hotels.com and the facility had my booking as double booked and both parties FAILED to notify me as such...i drove over 2 hours just to find out i didn't have a place to lay my head so i drove all the way back home in the same day...very disappointed all around with this facility and Hotels.com.

Preciously quaint. Even though the office is closed on Sunday, specific instructions for us were left on the office door with the location of our room code. We had not even paid for our room. Our train car was immaculate and warm when we arrived at 9pm in the freezing weather! Loved our stay!

I was in and out quickly for business. My check in time was after hours and the employee I spoke to was great at taking care of payment and informing me of their afterhours procedures. Upon arrival, check-in was easy and I accessed my room with no problem. I was excited to have a room in one of the train cars. When I entered the room I was disappointed as there was no feel of a train in the room. It could have been any room at any hotel. I was hoping for some architectural details or more uniqueness to being in a train car. That being said, the room was very clean and there were homey touches that were unexpected. No air had been on, so I did have the door open to the outside for about an hour to help freshen the room, but after that the fan unit was able to keep up. I had a good night's sleep, and it provided what I needed for my stay. I would return to this hotel again and hope to be able as I work in the area. Definitely a great location if you are interested in being in the village of Sugarcreek.

The property was very neat and clean. We were a late check-in, but the staff made appropriate arrangements for us to enter the building after hours. This is not a typical "hotel". There is a "common area" as you enter the building that has coffee maker, water and ice. The rooms are entered off of the common area. The wi-fi was a little "iffy", but that's the only negative we had. The area is very quiet, with a relaxing porch. We felt very safe in this environment. Would recommend this property.
