While the decor, robes, slippers, Nespresso machine, free snacks and a variety of continental breakfast options were a plus, the front desk needs to have a more positive attitude and be friendlier. The hotel would definitely benefit from having a pool. The worst part was the construction next door, so I’d avoid this hotel until that’s complete.

Clean and well kept cozy small boutique hotel. Loved our room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Hollywood Hills. Friendly staff. Valet fee is pricy but the service was super quick. Breakfast is continental and simple with good pastries. Wish they could provide at lease boiled eggs for protein, though. Overall a great comfortable hotel.

Very nice inn in West Hollywood. Really enjoyed our stay and the low key, personal feel of the place. Spent an afternoon out with the complementary bikes which was fun. No pool or other amenities of note on site. The add on resort fee is a bit of a stretch given this, but we knew what we were getting into when we booked, so fair enough.

Hotel 850 is a fabulous boutique hotel in LA. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Walkable to restaurants and shops. I love their little lounge with a fire place. During the evening you can grab a drink from their honesty bar and head up to the roof for some sunset drinks. Recommended.

Really like the design of the place, beautifully decorated, with nice views from the roof and breakfast on the balcony/porch. Breakfast is included but limited, complimentary drinks on the roof from 5 til 7. Not far from a hospital and Santa Monica blvd with the distant sounds of emergency vehicles and nightlife if you leave the windows open a little bit at night, may disturb light sleepers.

Really nice boutique hotel with great style and amenities. Rooftop happy hour was a nice touch as was the complimentary continental breakfast (which was far superior to the typical continental breakfast.) Virginia took the time to chat with us and left a nice note wishing us a happy stay. The housekeeping staff was so kind and hardworking.

A small and quiet property that goes beyond expectations. The property is located less than a block from a very busy section of WEST HOLLYWOOD. Easy access to many of the restaurants and bars of Weho without driving. This property is small but makes up for size with the quality of service and the charming room’s. The moment I arrived, the manager,Virginia, was very welcoming. Virginia, looked at my reservation and stated your here with us for a week. I was immediately upgraded to a large room with a balcony. The room was perfectly clean and charming in decoration. The house keeping staff were consistently on the go looking to offer assistance. The continental breakfast was small but very good. A great auto coffee/cappuccino machine was flawless. Fresh squeezed juices with very large croissants were the highlights. Overall, the location, quality of the rooms, and staff make this my new favorite place for visiting LA.

I cannot say enough good things about the property. The management and staff are basically flawless. They take pride in what they do and make the guests feel that they are staying in a beautiful house. The combination of Alejo at check-in, and then Carlos and Winston at the front desk, is truly top-notch. My family and friends will be back. A special thank-you and mention for the incredibly detailed housekeeping staff! The location is quiet and subdued, but close to everything.

The hotel is so cozy and the rooms are not too small. The personnel were super nice and loved the breakfast room. Also the automatic espresso machine!! The only flaw I would say is the room lighting is very dark and not able to adjust it higher than a certain point

Check in was fine except Room 27 is two floors and the top floor was 80 degrees and bottom floor was 60. AC was unable to cool the top floor. Suggest they note that when renting it or not rent it.

This place is charming and sweet, and in a great place in WeHo for food and walking around. The staff was kind but not super helpful. We were there the weekend of the marathon and weren't warned ahead of time that the street in front of the hotel was going to be closed the entire day on the day of our checkout. We ended up having to uber to an airport hotel and pay for a 2nd hotel for the night to avoid missing our flight the next day. Left a bad taste in our mouths - they should have offered to comp us the second night. We had a family member in a second room that decided not to check out early because she didn't have a flight the next day, and she was trapped at the hotel until after 2pm the day of the marathon as the valet folks forgot to move her car out of the closed zone (they had promised to do so). Also, there are neighbors with very loud barking dogs that leave their pets out day and night, making it hard to sleep.

This is such a unique place. All the furnishings are one of a kind- not like chain hotels. Every little nuance of your stay is made so nice- from the welcome note to the marvelous continental breakfast with a fancy coffeemaker. We especially want to commend the front desk clerk, Winston who made us feel so welcome after a too long day traveling.

A small and quiet property that goes beyond expectations. The property is located less than a block from a very busy section of WEST HOLLYWOOD. Easy access to many of the restaurants and bars of Weho without driving. This property is small but makes up for size with the quality of service and the charming room’s. The moment I arrived, the manager,Virginia, was very welcoming. Virginia, looked at my reservation and stated your here with us for a week. I was immediately upgraded to a large room with a balcony. The room was perfectly clean and charming in decoration. The house keeping staff were consistently on the go looking to offer assistance. The continental breakfast was small but very good. A great auto coffee/cappuccino machine was flawless. Fresh squeezed juices with very large croissants were the highlights. Overall, the location, quality of the rooms, and staff make this my new favorite place for visiting LA.

Hotel 850 SVT is easily the most incredible boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in—and the only place I’ll stay whenever I’m in LA. From pre-arrival communication to thoughtful touches like accepting a delivery and placing it in my room before check-in, every detail was seamless and stress-free. I cannot say enough good things about the property. The management and staff are basically flawless. They take pride in what they do and make the guests feel that they are staying in a beautiful house. The combination of Alejo at check-in, and then Carlos and Winston at the front desk, is truly top-notch. My family and friends will be back. A special thank-you and mention for the incredibly detailed housekeeping staff! The location is quiet and subdued, but close to everything.

Another great stay at svb50, a few things have changed such as there’s no honour bar which was a real shame but didn’t affect our stay. Room was comfortable and the room amenities were excellent. Would stay again as it’s in the heart for Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

Breakfast is included but limited, complimentary drinks on the roof from 5 til 7. Everything about this property is perfect!!! From Winston’s greeting at check-in to our lovely shaded balcony, we could not have asked for a more lovely stay in WeHo. The location is quiet and walkable, and access to the major highways is convenient. We’ll definitely come back!!

Beautiful and unnassuming property nestled in the heart of one of the best and most energetic areas in the city. Steps from Santa Monica and The Sunset Strip in either direction, but it manages to feel like a quiet escape.

I really enjoyed my 2-night stay at 850 SVB. The staff was extremely kind and gracious. My room was quiet, comfortable, and well-appointed. The mattress, sheets, and toiletries were perfect. I thought the outdoor area (pictured) was a nice touch. I ordered room service twice -- food was terrific but a bit on the pricey side. The hotel is in a walkable area. This is a cozy gem in WeHo! The staff is amazing, the beds are comfy, and the rooms with fireplaces are cozy on chilly nights. The breakfast is quaint and coffee good. THIS is the place you want for charm, coziness, and comfort.

Clean and well kept cozy small boutique hotel. Loved our room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Hollywood Hills. Friendly staff. Valet fee is pricy but the service was super quick. Breakfast is continental and simple with good pastries. Wish they could provide at lease boiled eggs for protein, though. Overall a great comfortable hotel.

This is such a unique place. All the furnishings are one of a kind- not like chain hotels. Every little nuance of your stay is made so nice- from the welcome note to the marvelous continental breakfast with a fancy coffeemaker. We especially want to commend the front desk clerk, Winston who made us feel so welcome after a too long day traveling.

Really nice boutique hotel with great style and amenities. Rooftop happy hour was a nice touch as was the complimentary continental breakfast (which was far superior to the typical continental breakfast.) Virginia took the time to chat with us and left a nice note wishing us a happy stay. The housekeeping staff was so kind and hardworking.
