The room was quite small but the bed was very comfortable. My room had a slightly unusual layout with the toilet and shower in their own separate rooms with the sink opposite the bed. While there can be some noise from nearby buildings, it always stopped by midnight while I was there. My room had its own balcony, but it technically wasn't private as the door between it and the common areas wasn't locked. There's also a roof terrace open to all guests. Overall I was satisfied with the hotel and would happily stay here again.

Très bon séjour à l'Amfores. L'hôtel est agréable et notre chambre, donnant sur la cour, était très calme. La chambre n'est pas très spacieuse mais tout est optimisé et nous n'avons manqué de rien. Gros atout du rooftop sur les toits !

Ett riktigt mysigt hotell ett stenkast från allt det mysiga du vill uppleva i Barcelona. Rummen var små men härliga. Vårt rum hade AC och det var mycket uppskattat. Litet minus är att de inte har frukost men så finns det hur många mysiga fik som helst runt om. Så, det kanske inte gör SÅ mycket. :)

Schade war das der Pool extra gekostet hat und es kein Frühstück gab. Die versprochene Kaffeemaschine (für 1€) war leider morgens im abgeschlossenen Teil des Hotels. Um die Ecke gab es aber einen Coffeeahop. Aber dennoch top Lage und super zu erreichen mit dem Aerobus.

This property has been recently refurbished; it was done very well. We appreciated the numerous electrical outlets and updated facilities. The location is convenient for walking to numerous attractions. My only reasons for 4 stars overall are the very small rooms (I know, it’s typical of European city hotels.), lack of a kettle and refrigerator in the rooms, and the ridiculously small sink right beside the bed. The cleaners must hate that sink because it is impossible to use without water going all over the counter and wall. In our room there was a hanging chair which could be replaced by a small refrigerator and shelf with a kettle. The staff was very helpful.

Very close to Palau de la Musical. Parking is tricky. There is a garage close by, but it is easily missed. Staff was helpful in guiding us there.

Très bon séjour dans cette hôtel, idéalement situé à Barcelone , pour pouvoir profitez du maximum en peu de temps ! Et le gros plus le spa en rooftop , on n’avais pas réservé, on c’était dit qu’avec le nombre de visite nous n’aurions pas le temps. Et a 16h on a eu super chaud , je l’air es mis un message WhatsApp, et un créneau était libre à 18h inclus dans le prix de notre chambre donc pas de supplément et en plus personne d’autres avait réservé donc nous avons pu y rester jusqu’à 21h vraiment trop cool. Je vous le recommande La decos est soignée, et le lit est super confortable. Et une machine à café est disponible avec des petits gâteaux dans la chambre

We had a nice stay at Amfores in August 2025. The hotel is very centrally located which made it easy to get to the attractions. The front desk staff were excellent. They explained the keyless entry (a code you type or a website where you unlock your door). The staff helped us book a flamenco show and a taxi (taxi prices go up on Sunday’s, according to our driver, so I would have the driver or hotel confirm the price. Our taxi driver met us at the hotel and charged us €48 to the airport). The room was standard. Great shower pressure and very clean towels. The shower could have been cleaner because there was some discoloration on the floor and around the exposed pipes. The toilet room was very tiny and could be hard for a larger or very tall person. The sink is tiny and causes a lot of water to spill on the floor. Our safe also wasn’t locking. None of these things were enough for us to mention to the front desk while we were there and did not impact our stay. Overall we had a nice stay and, for the price and location, would book again.

Mycket nöjd med vistelsen. Rent, med städning varje dag. Skön säng. Litet minus att toalett och dusch inte fanns ett gemensamt utrymme. Härlig svalkande AC och fläkt i rummet. Ett stort plus med pool på taket.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a lot of attractions and great restaurants. The staff was also very helpful and nice. We arrived when the reception was still open so they showed us how the keys and app worked. They also helped us book an early morning taxi to the airport. The hotel decor is interesting. They’ve incorporated the old styles and our room had exposed brick wall which was very cool. However, the room cleanliness could definitely be improved and bed wasn’t too comfortable either. We would stay here again for sure but for a shorter visit.

The guest house is close to most of the attractions and also close to transportations like trains and buses. You also wont have to worry as there's alot of restaurants and cafe around the area and most of them stay open til late night. Staff are very nice and approachable. Housekeeping is awesome!! 100% recommendable especially if it is your first time in Barcelona as i is easy to get to and from the airport via train or buses

The location is convenient, the rooftop terrace is a nice touch, and the staff was very friendly, but unfortunately my stay was undermined by a serious issue. After my third night, I discovered bed bugs in my room. The staff investigated promptly and moved me to a new room, and they handled the situation professionally. However, this was still a major health and safety concern that caused me discomfort, anxiety, and the extra work of having to sanitize all of my belongings afterward. Management offered a 25% refund, which I don’t think adequately addressed the severity of the issue.

This lottle hotel is cute and has nice decor but this was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. The shower was clear glass 3 ft from the edge of the bed. The toilet was 3 ft from the single pillow each person got for the bed. And the walls were so thin that i could hear ever word of the quiet conversation our neighbor had with his children in the middle of the nights. Good location.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. I love the location so much. The rooms are not like hotel rooms in USA, but they are manageable with the AC Unit and the Fan. It is a very small place but the point of it is to just sleep. The beds have really nice sun replicating lights, the only thing I really did not like was there was no natural light in our room.

Its a cute little boutique hotel, staff was very kind. Room was small, enough for 1 person and had adequate amenities for my staff. The AC had a musty smell so I had to keep it off. The walls are like paper, I had a hard time sleeping. You could hear EVEYTHING, people in the shower, coming and going, dragging chairs, etc. My 2nd night was so bad I barely slept, so much disturbance from my neighbors, I can't say if they were above or beside. Overall ok

Hôtel très bien placé dans Barcelone, par contre niveau confort c'est vraiment le strict minimum. Chambre très petite, aucune intimité que ce soit les toilettes ou la douche transparente. Les murs sont très donc on entend tout ! Pour le prix le spa en option pour 10€ abusé ! Lavabo decalé par rapport au robinet donc on met de l'eau partout.

Our AC did not work in our room, was only told that it was reported to the maintenance guy, but no one ever came by to check and it was not fixed. Ended up sleeping with the door open most of the night and we did not sleep much. Was not offered a different room or other options to fix this problem, and there was no one at the front desk past 10:30 pm.

I was shut out of my room and almost had to spend the night walking the streets. Staff go home at 9pm and no one in the premises should things go wrong. The room entry system is just plain ridiculous and doesn't always work. Bring back keys or cards,

Nice and comfy room in the gothic quarters, worked nicely as a base of operations in Barcelona! Super friendly and nice staff, got some nice suggestions for restaurants and beaches etc. Great location near the metro and bus stops, and the balcony at the top is also quite nice! Couple things (mostly about the app that is heavily integrated to the experience): - the web app that they use for checkins and opening doors etc is just bad (icnea). Unresponsive and unreliable, managed to open my door only once with it, on the last day - during check-in, the app did not show my payment made via hotels.com and I ended up paying twice. However kudos to the staff for handling the refund remarkably fast! - the room is quite small (not an issue for solo travelers) - the sink is in quite the creative spot, in the bedroom! I don't consider this a minus though, probably just an architectural compromise due to lack of space. Also the shower controls were pretty unintuitive But overall: good hotel, great staff, horrible app which is unfortunately pretty much mandatory for the sign in. You can make do with just memorizing your personal code and using that instead of the app to get in and out, though (after the mandatory sign in)

Loved the rooftop. Had trouble getting into room as the code was not entered In system, which Marcos cheerfully corrected. However, I am an infrequent traveler and paid initially through Expedia. One month later Amfores emailed to say I had not paid, so I foolishly paid again. I have communicated this to both Expedia and Amfores and have not yet received a refund. I am waiting…thank you.

After searching for a while we found it behind a door that said ‘please do not enter’ which was rather annoying. The room was very small but clean and equipped with towels & shower facilities. Walls are thin - you can hear your neighbours conversations and it is quite noisy on the weekends. Use of the pool is only included if booked through hotels website. Otherwise €5 for one hour which was disappointing. Staff are nice and water / juice is available free of charge. Coffee available for €1

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location. Staff and service is exceptional ( despite only a short stay Marcos helped to sort out lengthy baggage issues with airline). Hopefully would love to return.

La chambre était simple, confortable et bien éclairée. Nous sommes aussi très heureux d’avoir pu profiter de la terrasse au toit pour reposer nos jambes après nos longues journées de marche. Wow, I was able to get good pricing for this accommodation, but did not expect such a good experience. The rooms are modern and have everything I needed for a solo traveler. The front desk was beneficial and would ask if I needed anything, all the time. I would make sure you keep your door lock code on paper, just in case your phone dies. I would also suggest not coming from the interior of the town late at night as there are some characters you do not want to run into. Instead, come from the main street for a quicker route to the hotel late in the evening.

Friendly and helpful staff members (Ramon is the best!), walkable distance to most of the places, very comfortable room, supermarkets and beautiful cafes nearby, and happy people! The only thing is that after 9pm, be careful with the area. We were chased by a young guy into the small streets of the area. There might be some theft issues. Be careful!

Ett riktigt mysigt hotell ett stenkast från allt det mysiga du vill uppleva i Barcelona. Rummen var små men härliga. Vårt rum hade AC och det var mycket uppskattat. Litet minus är att de inte har frukost men så finns det hur många mysiga fik som helst runt om. Så, det kanske inte gör SÅ mycket. :)

Schade war das der Pool extra gekostet hat und es kein Frühstück gab. Die versprochene Kaffeemaschine (für 1€) war leider morgens im abgeschlossenen Teil des Hotels. Um die Ecke gab es aber einen Coffeeahop. Aber dennoch top Lage und super zu erreichen mit dem Aerobus.

This property has been recently refurbished; it was done very well. We appreciated the numerous electrical outlets and updated facilities. The location is convenient for walking to numerous attractions. My only reasons for 4 stars overall are the very small rooms (I know, it’s typical of European city hotels.), lack of a kettle and refrigerator in the rooms, and the ridiculously small sink right beside the bed. The cleaners must hate that sink because it is impossible to use without water going all over the counter and wall. In our room there was a hanging chair which could be replaced by a small refrigerator and shelf with a kettle. The staff was very helpful.

Hôtel très bien placé dans Barcelone, par contre niveau confort c'est vraiment le strict minimum. Chambre très petite, aucune intimité que ce soit les toilettes ou la douche transparente. Les murs sont très donc on entend tout ! Pour le prix le spa en option pour 10€ abusé ! Lavabo decalé par rapport au robinet donc on met de l'eau partout.
