Excellent value for money. Free parking. Large room with everything you'd need. Comfortable bed. 10 minute or so walk into the centre. Easy to check in and out.

Only 3 spaces to park but got 1. Room lovely and clean. Very small and not as pictured but was good for 1 night. Very strong smell of something nice they had sprayed but was so strong it was overwhelming. Lady who booked us in was lovely and gave clear information. Would definately stay here again.

Dislike: only 3 parking spaces, but got recommended the NCP down the road at St Augustine (6.95- 24hour) Like: cheap and comfy

Staffs are friendly while the parking space is limited.

Before the day of our stay, we had to choose a check in time, either 11-1 or 5-8. We felt this was a little strange. We arrived and the lady was very nice and explained things well. The room was a good size and had a table and chairs, tv, sink, fridge and kettle. Unfortunately there was no coffee on offer, only very cheap teabags. We only had 1 pillow each and the room was far too hot throughout the night. The room was clean, however there was a lot of limescale in the kettle and my husband stood on a 2inch nail that was loose on the floor! The electrics were also dodgy, with a plug socket hanging off the wall. It was a shared bathroom on each floor, but unfortunately the one on our floor was being done up, so couldn't be used at all when we arrived and the shower was out of action throughout our stay. All in all for a budget hotel it was ok, but definitely needs updating and tlc. Tried to add photos of nail and ele trics but it wont let me.

The beds are tiny. The lodge is practically like a shared apartment with toilet and bathroom outside your room.

Get what you pay for it’s a old building the floor, tables, bathroom was clean but there was cob webs and dust just need a high reach duster as it was noticeable, beds was clean, clean mattress ect but very hard bed (that’s a matter of preference). You could go out the double doors onto a little garden section so that was good and came in handy, it did say shower stuff and hair dryer included, take your own they gave us towels and a bottle of water but no shower items. On suit room but very small bath room again does the job not designed for comfort. Tea making facilities (NOT COFFEE so take your own if you like a coffee in the morning).the manager did offer to go get some of his own from his quarters for me nice offer but I didn’t want to put him out.Friendly welcome. noisy from the other rooms again it’s a old building didn’t expect that much noise that early though, again I can’t fault the owners/managers for this I suppose that’s luck of the draw to who else is in the building and how early they wake up ect when you book. Nice BIG flat screen tv all in all It was a ok stay and done the job. But didn’t get much sleep again that’s a preference thing and they can’t please everybody with the mattress type. The room was clean and spacious, bed comfortable, friendly staff, good location and free parking, Was great for a two night stay.

Too hot, room was dusty, sink smelled, hairs found on sink and bedside table. Offered tea but no coffee. Bathroom not clean.

My room was cold despite the radiator working OK. None of the extra lights worked above the sink or bed. The sockets around the bed don't work. Bed linen, toilet and shower were clean. Stains down walls in bedroom. Plus point... Room had a mini fridge. Never saw anyone to speak to. Bought blankets for second night and was warm

Went into room and it smelt of weed - not clean and not managed well - no coffee no teaspoon lamp didn't work by bed - not an area I would want to go back to - shared bathroom

Not enough room for 2 beds. Only a couple of inches between bed and wall / bathroom. En suite bathroom was a partition wall with a sliding shower door that didnt close properly and a shower curtain. Beds so squeeky that every time someone turned over it woke the others up. Only 1 pillow each. Terrible night of no sleep. Staff seemed nice on check in

The staff were super friendly and the room wqs exactly what we needed, however we couldn't get much sleep as there was a couple smoking in the dining area close to our room and were fighting and arguing until 5am, when we checked out we found them both asleep slumped on the couches of the dining area, would stay again if needed however the quiet times were not adhered to whatsoever.

May be for the price it was ok but the room size was just one bedroom one ensuite.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. However, shower is very small and the triple room is too narrow for us to squeeze into. Could be better without the table in the room.

My stay was comfortable. Just had a night to stay, the beds were clean and room had good heating. The room itself was quite spacious.

Rooms can be really small. But they were quite clean and hygieneic. Maybe worth investing in their common kitchen dining area.

Good location,clean,just a bit noisy before 10Pm but after that it’s all good.

On arrival waited over 5 mins had to call for assistance. Personnel was courteous took us to room it was clean . We got dress to attend a function we returned after 1am the room was cold heating off the double was not sturdy bedding was not suitable for the winter we were so cold had to use clothing and huddled together to stay warm. Carpet and thicker drapes could help. We had a rough night . All of us asthmatic and myself with physical disability and osteoarthritis in knees.

Great place to stay close to kebab shops

Wr liked Glenfield Guest House because it was close to Glenfield Hospital where our son was . Also being as we live in Hertfordshire we needed somewhere clean and cheap as possible. Glenfield Guest House ticked both boxes. We were welcomed in a friendly manor at Check in , but didn’t see him again.
