We have a perfect stay. The location is great, the room is clean, bed is comfortable, the shower even has massage feature. The best part is the service. The lady in the reception is so enthusiastic and make you feel so welcome. They gave us free breakfast and also a bottle of wine.

We had a great visit! It’s easy to communicate with Elisa prior to check-in. She’s very lovely! The room is very clean and it felt safe, You could hardly hear the traffic outside. The hotel is located 5 minutes from the train station (walking) and it has a lot of different parking spots close by (we arrived by car and got a free parking spot a 10 minute walk away where we left the car for 4 days). We got great recommendations, and were welcomed with wine. Would recommend this hotel! Great place to stay and very easy to go to Cinque terre from here.

Beautiful room, staff are very common and really close to that main station for transportation purposes. Definitely recommend, offloading is difficult, however if you have your own vehicle!

We had a comfortable and short stay. The rooms are a good size with large bathrooms. Elisa was very responsive and helpful! Fast wifi and thoughtful little touches, such as a communal icemaker and wine glasses. Best part was that its 5 minutes walk from the train station to Cinque Terre and beyond. Also, there's a private parking garage nearby. Would definitely recommend for couples.

The location is incredibly convenient, just a three-minute walk from the train station, which made our trip from Florence and our visits to the Cinque Terre villages super easy. Even though it’s right in the center of La Spezia, once you close the window panels, the room is surprisingly quiet. Light sleepers might still want earplugs, but overall, it was very comfortable. The hosts were absolutely amazing and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, always ready to help with any information or assistance we needed. There are fantastic dining options nearby, including a lovely breakfast spot right next door. The B&B is on the third floor, but there’s a small elevator if you prefer not to take the stairs. Plus, a stroll through the city center leads you to a beautiful boardwalk with lots of shops and restaurants, and easy access to the marina for ferries and tours. The Superior Golfo 5 is a special place. It is at the beginning of the main walkway through the main La Spezia restaurant and shopping walkway all the way down to the water around the marina. The building itself is nice, with a classic but well kept look and architecture starting from the giant door with the mini door inside of it, followed by the marble stairs up to the third floor where Simone and Elise are usually at the reception desk with big smiles and ready to answer any questions, give great recommendations, or just chat. The lobby, hallway, and rooms are a mix of modern and ancient architecture. The bathrooms look brand new, while the bedroom has rock walls and very high wooden beam ceilings. The highlight is the large window that opens to an expansive view of the streets and hills. The room is fitted with all the necessary amenities, plus some extras like more pillows and blankets, teas, chocolates, and a welcome bottle of wine. When you run out there is a market across the street with great prices. Want espresso or snacks? There are machines in the lobby for that. In a hurry? Then you are in the wrong place. We decided on La Spezia as a hub to visit the 5 villages but found so much to do in La Spezia that we never left. At Elise and Simon's recommendation we even took the ferry to Porto Venere. It was a magical experience for $15 each to see the bay, and walk all over the castle ruins built high into the rocky cliffs with the epic views of the ocean.

Great find as a base for Cinque Terre. Close to train station, many dining options and a 20-25 minute walk to port. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed and AC worked great. I will now have to install a rainforest shower at home because my wife liked it so much. Great place for a couple. Would stay again. Elizia was great to work with and gave a good overview of the area

Great B&B just a short walk from the train station. Very clean and walkable to restaurants. We stayed here as a home base to visit Cinque Terre and it was perfect. The host greeted us and was just lovely. Our room was clean and nice.

Our train was canceled in the early morning, so this was a quick last minute booking. The lady met us at the door and greeted us which meant a lot. She graciously let us check in early and drop our bags and gave the best recommendations for La Spezia. Upon arrival back in the afternoon, she had our bags in the room, and was super clean. The room was beautiful! **Bring earplugs though. The doors are thin and not soundproof. Also if you stay on a weekend night expect fireworks right outside.

My wife and I stayed for two nights and had an excellent experience. The place is very clean, well organized, and perfectly located — just a few minutes from the train station to Cinque Terre and close to many restaurants and cafés. On top of that, we had an exceptional welcome from Elisa and Simone, who are truly warm hosts and made us feel at home during our stay.

Nos deux hôtes ont été extraordinaires. J’avais l impression rapidement d ‘être chez des amis. Ils nous ont donné des conseils sur les activites à faire et aussi des recommandations par rapport aux restos autour. De plus, leur résidence et leur chambres sont très propres et semblent être rénovés depuis peu de temps. Merci encore pour votre hospitalité.

Perfect spot to stay if commuting by train, clean, spacisou and quiet (no noise from streets, but actually can hear some sound from corridor and upstairs at night time). Host very welcoming and helpful. Accident due to lift doors but host was responsive to first aid care request.

The best stay!!!! We absolutely loved our room and our hosts! Couldn’t ask for best hosts, thank you Elisa and Simone. They both love what they do and it shows. Please know how appreciated you both are by your guests! We felt so well cared for. We had the best sleep in your guesthouse! We loved our stay. The property is near the train station. My son loves the secret entrance door and the elevator. It’s unique experience. The room has a lot of space and the bed is so comfy. The most impressive part is the warm welcome.

Checking in was stressed free as Elisa our host reached out and waited for our arrival to assist us with our luggage and car parking. Room were spacious,clean and comfortable. Fantastic location, great clean room, and Elise and Simone could not have been more helpful. La Spezia is a great place to jump off to Cinque Terre and they gave us a lot of tips that helped make our walking tour of cinque terre much more memorable! They even stored one of our bags for a week so that we could hike with our smaller bags. Perfect place to stay and they are so nice there!

Our train was canceled in the early morning, so this was a quick last minute booking. The lady met us at the door and greeted us which meant a lot. She graciously let us check in early and drop our bags and gave the best recommendations for La Spezia. Upon arrival back in the afternoon, she had our bags in the room, and was super clean. The room was beautiful! **Bring earplugs though. The doors are thin and not soundproof. Also if you stay on a weekend night expect fireworks right outside.

The Superior Golfo 5 is a special place. It is at the beginning of the main walkway through the main La Spezia restaurant and shopping walkway all the way down to the water around the marina. The building itself is nice, with a classic but well kept look and architecture starting from the giant door with the mini door inside of it, followed by the marble stairs up to the third floor where Simone and Elise are usually at the reception desk with big smiles and ready to answer any questions, give great recommendations, or just chat. The highlight is the large window that opens to an expansive view of the streets and hills. Host amazing the little hotel very well updated, the room warm, cute, renowned with good taste. Location, great, because it was 4min from train station. We had a great stay at Affittacamere Superior Golfo 5 Terre. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She provided maps and descriptions of how to get to the start of the Blue Trail, plus food recommendations in La Spezia. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. And the location was perfect, in a main square but quiet, and just a short 5 minute walk to the train station. Highly recommend that you stay here, you will not regret it!!

This is a great home-base for exploring the Cinque Terre. Very convenient to the train station (5 min walk). There is a lot going on in this vibrant little city and the property is perfectly located within it all. The staff are amazing. Elisa and Simone were excellent hosts. They are super friendly and had great suggestions for ways to explore the area; such as taking the boat into the Cinque Terre and train back on one day. This way you get to see the towns from the water too. Also provided good recommendations for food and other local sites. Go to the local castle while you’re there. The included Breakfast (coffee, juice and pastry) is located about 100 meters from the property (C’este Bon) and was very good. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints. There is a lift to the 3rd floor, but we didn’t use it. Climbing 3 flights of stairs several times a day is a good warm-up, or cool-down, for/from the Cinque Terre trails. I highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The room was immaculate, quiet and well located. We were able to park in a local garage. Had a great time shopping, eating and hanging around! We would 100% recommend staying here! Also endorsing Taverna de Metalo for dinner and the Hop Hop 2.5 hour Gulf Tour.

This place was great. Clean, super convenient to the train station and all restaurants that LaSpezia has to offer. Breakfast in the bar across the street was great. We had candy and wine provided to us. Perfect “home base” for hiking in the Cinque Terre. Our hostess could not have been nicer or more accommodating. If you want a hidden gem in the Cinque Terre without paying an arm and a leg, this is it.

My wife and I stayed for two nights and had an excellent experience. The place is very clean, well organized, and perfectly located — just a few minutes from the train station to Cinque Terre and close to many restaurants and cafés. Elisa and Simone were the perfect hosts! The hotel is a small six room hotel. It is absolutely lovely. By far one of our nicer stays while in Italy. It is clean, very spacious, updated, air conditioning and has very comfortable beds. The hosts gave us recommendations for sights and restaurants which were delicious. We enjoyed La Spezia and Cinque Terre. None of us wanted to leave! A definite “must stay” kind of place!

Nice location, hosts were very welcoming. Bed was comfortable. could have used some hooks or bars to hang up towels, otherwise perfect for a short stay.
