Dux Nutz

Smiths Lake @ Dux Nutz was just an awesome house with a secret kids play room. The kids loved it. Had all the amenities we needed, beds were super comfy! Would’ve loved to of jump in the pool but unfortunately it wasn’t heated. Maybe next time. Thank you

Overall we enjoyed our time there but it was disappointing that the plunge pool advertised was only a spa that was not functioning. Considering we had children with us a pool would have been a big bonus. Also as we cooked all our meals the stove/oven could have been in better working order and baking dishes for a roast. No toilet paper was another inconvenience considering the price we paid. Coffee maker advertised was a single person coffee plunger which didn’t cater for the 6 adults that were there.

The swimming pool is a big part of why we chose this property. It couldn’t be used and the owners refused to offer any token refund or apology which would helped us feel less ripped off. My daughter also got bedbugs. I wouldn’t recommend staying here because if something needs addressing the owners don’t seem to care. The house it self is very comfortable and the view delightful, but advertising a luxury house with a pool that you pay top dollar for only to be rudely refused recompense has left a bad feeling. There are lots of great houses in the area, I recommend looking elsewhere.
