Hotel Wing International Select Ikebukuro

Laundry didn’t work, and a few were out of service already. But other than that. Can’t complain. I would stay here again.

Wonderful hotel. Room was a standard size room for Japan and it was nice and clean. Lots of amenities to choose from on the main floor. There was also a nice sitting/dining area to hang out in as well. Large amount of shopping and restaurants in the area and a short walk to the main Ikebukuro station. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Japan.

I had such a great experience at this hotel. The rooms were spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and I was surprised by how spacious everything felt. I loved the little complimentary touches like body cream, hair oil, and hair ties… so thoughtful! There are laundry machines on site, which made things really convenient, and I really appreciated that they can arrange luggage delivery straight to the airport (not all hotels do that). It’s about a 10 minute walk to Ikebukuro Station, but there’s so much to see and do along the way. Restaurants, cafés, and tons of shops are just steps from the hotel. The area felt incredibly safe, and the staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and spoke great English. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tokyo and wanting a comfortable, convenient stay in a great neighborhood.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was very clean and the staff were very nice. The extras were a very nice touch! Before you get on the elevators, in the lobby, there are a couple of tables filled with things like coffee and tea packets, and toiletry items like toothbrushes and bath scents, and more. When we left the hotel, and it was raining, there were a bunch of umbrellas that we could use. The walk was only about 10 min from the station with many restaurants very close. I would definitely recommend!

Location was good and staff were friendly. The property need some upgrade and washer dryer was old and one was broken.

Nice location. Rooms are small as expected in all Japanese business hotels. It has undergone a bit of renovation since my last stay but still a little outdated IMO, but didnt bother me. Service is a little less than last time I stayed. A lot of them becomes self serve (eg. Bathroom amenities arent replaced by staff, but rather there is a lot of stocks on first floor for you to take, and lugguage delivery service also becomes self serve; you fill in the detail yourself, get a confirmation number, fill it on the tag and give it to the reception). Actually that mightn't be a bad idea and suits tourists, and saves cost. One biggest complaint for me would be the pillow supplied was too soft and lack support. But not a big issue as you can request a firmwr pillow from reception. Also its spoltlessly clean as all Japanese hotels.

Very helpful (English speaking) staff. Well kept room that was an ok size for Tokyo area. Fantastic amenity bar with way more items than most places offer. Great common area with microwave. Quiet area that was still conveniently located. My only negative was the laundry facilities. Seriously the worst dryers I’ve ever used in my life and definitely the worst I used in my travels in Japan.

The rooms are modest, but we didn’t mind as we only slept in there. The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed the little amenity kits (mini facial creams, cleansers etc) as we forgot to bring some of those. There are complimentary pjs in each room, and you can requested a firmer/softer pillow. We also appreciated that we could borrow a humidifier for the room. A short walk from the Ikebukuro station, would stay again!

The hotel was nice, being rebranded into a Wing property. What made this an excellent hotel was the staff at the front desk. They were so helpful. Unfortunately needed a doctor during the trip the woman at the front helped us find one and even went as far as booking the appointment for us when I had trouble doing it online. Really went above and beyond. They also helped us with the luggage forwarding service which made life so much easier on the last day. Also added bonus they collect the room trash everyday and provide fresh towels. Full room cleaning is once every 3 days.

It was overall a nice hotel at a convenient location. The included amenities at the lobby is my favourite part of this hotel. They have a few types of tea, instant coffee, hair/skin care products, dental hygiene products etc, almost everything you might need. There is a vending machine and coin laundry in the lobby. I booked a single room and it was spacious enough to fit my two large luggage backpack without sacrificing too much walking space. The TV is nice and I also liked the adequate table space. The staff at the front desk was overall very helpful too. They do have luggage storage forwarding service. The only downsides were the air conditioning looked a bit dusty so I didn't turn it on. I am happy with opening the window for cool fresh air, but unfortunately my lower floor room faced where the smoking room was so occasionally the smell would flow into my room with the window open. It's near a hospital so there are the odd ambulances a couple times a night (earplugs available at the lobby) but otherwise it's a quiet location. Within a few min walk there is tons of shopping, conbinis, restaurants, Yamato Transport, Japan Post. Otome Road, and Sunshine City Mall. The hotel itself has a café with a small menu from 06-23. It's about 10 min walk from Ikebukuro Station. I would definitely consider staying here again and I'd request for a room that's not facing the smoking room.

Le personnel est très aimable, l’hôtel est à 15 min de marche de la grande station de métro Ikebukuro. Le gros problème qui a gâché notre séjour sur place a été l’humidité dans la chambre. Malgré les deux déshumidificateurs installés dans la chambre, celle-ci restait très humide ; les draps étaient mouillés, c’était horrible. Ce problème semble général à l’hôtel, puisqu’ils disposent de nombreux déshumidificateurs à la réception pour les chambres. Pour cette raison, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

4階に宿泊しましたがとにかく湿気が凄くてなにもかも湿っているし、２日目に除湿機を借りても不快感が拭いきれなかった。 テレビもSDカードを差し直してくださいとメッセージが出てフロントにお願いしたらフロントスタッフではできないので明日に昼に設備担当に見て貰うと言われて２日目ホテルに戻ってテレビ付けたら同じ症状再発。フロントにまたお願いしに行って部屋に戻ったらテレビ復活してたけどまた同じメッセージが出てテレビ見れないの繰り返し。 部屋も変えてくれなかったし2度と泊まらない

It was all good until the blanket in my room smelled very badly. I asked for a change of blanket but the receptionist was only able to give me a duvet cover to change because there was no extra blanket! I had a smelly blanket for the entire stay and this frustrated me.

Hotel vecchio, camere umide, odore di muffa. Abbiamo cambiato tre camere perché c’erano degli animaletti nel letto dovuti alla troppa umidità (95% di umiditá nella stanza segnalato dall’orologio). Scendeva acqua putrida dal condizionatore, mancata sanificazione del condotto aria condizionata. Abbiamo respirato qualche particella tossica che fuoriusciva dall’aria condizionata, difatti i giorni dopo ci siamo ammalati rovinandoci la vacanza avendo problemi respiratori oltre la febbre alta e tanti altri sintomi lunghi da curare. L’unica nota positiva è la posizione e alcuni servizi dati dal hotel per il resto sconsigliato.

禁煙の部屋に泊まりましたがバスルームから漂うタバコの匂い。換気のせいか何なのかはわからないが不快でした。またチェックインする時のスタッフの対応の遅さにも難が。名前を伝えてもスムーズに行かず、予約番号まで聞かれてもこちらはわからない。さらにチェックイン終わった後エレベーターに乗ろうとしたらホテル税をもらってないと言われまた足止め。

池袋駅から徒歩10分圏内で立地が良く、周辺にご飯屋さんやコンビニもかなりあって利便性が良かったです。 スタッフの方も親切で、アメニティも充実してました。 ただ、部屋の清掃が行き届いていないのか、ユニットバスに前に宿泊されていた方の毛？が何本か落ちていたのが気になりした。

Room is very small, but other facilities and area are very good. Walkable to Ikebukkuro, and also to Sunshine city mall.

Petit déjeuner peu varié. Consisté en une soupe et deux très petits pains. Personnel très aimable comme partout au Japon. J’avais demandé une chambre calme en étage élevé. J’étais effectivement au 11ème étage mais avec vue sur un mur situé à 5 ou 6 mètres de ma fenêtre. Chambre située à côté de l’ascenseur dont rien de calme pour une chambre supérieure. Lit un peu dur.

エレベーターに乗る時もカードキーをかざさないと乗れないようになっていて、セキュリティーが安心だった。立地もサンシャインシティへ徒歩圏内で便利。部屋はこじんまりとしているが、特に問題ない。部屋からの眺望が隣のビルの壁だが、寝るだけなので問題なし。ベッドの硬さも硬すぎず、柔らかすぎず、ちょうど良い。深めの浴槽も良かった。テレビが斜めなので、ベッドから見にくい点だけが減点。宿泊した部屋がたまたまそうだったのかもしれない。ホテルの入り口外部にあるしぼりたてオレンジジュースの自販機が気になっていたが、甘くて美味なのは意外だった。宿泊全体では、コストパフォーマンスが非常に良い。

Bed bit stiff for my comfort

Lovely hotel in vibrant Ikebukuru. Just 5-10 minute walk from the Sunshine City mall which has an aquarium, cinema and great shopping. The free skincare and convenience items at reception was fantastic! Comfy, small rooms but with everything that you need and you can borrow an iron, portable fan, umbrella and a cool pillow (which you need in the incredible summer heat).

We stayed here twice we liked it so much. 10 minute walk to Ikebukuro station. 7/11 around the corner and sunshine city is only 5 minutes away. The bed was not the most comfortable but the front desk provided extra pillows and blankets

Really like ikebukuro area. The hotel itself I probably wouldn’t stay again. The location was great in relation to attractions and being walkable. The 7-11 was 2 mins away. The hotel itself looked nice in the entry way. The rooms were old. We stayed at the bigger room (which is still small) with a queen bed. We had 2 small pillows each (not even standard size pillows) Our toilet was leaking on the base. I wondered why it had staining after we came back into the room. I didn’t say anything to the desk cuz we were checking out the next morning. We used their luggage service, the front desk recommended a site. As I was going through the process it wasn’t what I had requested. It was also costing us $100 CAD when people tell me it should only cost around $60. I was also told by friends the process and it didn’t seem like it was the same. Sure enough when I questioned the service date, the front desk person seemed annoyed but knew exactly what I was asking for (the cheaper service) which btw turned out perfect. Our luggage arrived at our new hotel on time. It was off putting to be upsold for service that is essentially the same.

A great place to stay - the rooms are a bit small but it is the standard for Japan. This Hotel Wing is around a 10 minute walk from Ikebukuro station, which may be long for some people but helps the nearby area stay quiet. There is a lot to do a short walk from the hotel with many eateries and convenience stores nearby. The staff at this Hotel were wonderful! Would always greet us when arriving or leaving the lobby and extra shoutout to the receptionists who helped us to transfer our luggage to the next hotel. He was super patient and helpful even when needing to use an English to Japanese translator :)

Probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in at a reasonable price. The staff was lovely, and location is easy to get to

2〜3回ほど泊まってるのですが、人によってロビーの対応が違うのだけ気になりました 今回の人はすごく丁寧でした！ 他の方は割引やアメニティの説明がない方も。。 部屋は綺麗ですが、この時期なのか虫がいました。 基本的には大満足です。

WORST hotel experience ever! I paid premium for "deluxe corner room" which is the most premium room type in the hotel. However when I checked in I was assigned a room that is more like a standard or premium one. The room is a lot smaller, and the hotel staff are very rude and not willing to accommodate. Will NOT recommend to ANYONE!

距離池袋站有少許距離，但還可以接受。 附近的Sunshine city大約8分鐘路程。 而DONKI，美食，玩樂，藥妝都應有盡有，絕對方便。

池袋駅から少し離れていて、静かで良かった。駅の方へ行けば買い物や食事に困る事はないです。スタッフの方の説明も分かりやすくて丁寧でした。また利用したいです。

Mooi hotel met alle voorzieningen, hebben aan alles gedacht. Dichtbij het station en de winkelstraten.

距池袋車站東口8分鐘距離，鬧中取靜，交通方便，房間不大。

10-15 min walk from Ikebukuro station. A lot of food and entertainment in the area.

Great location. Friendly staff.

Perfect place for the price point but my only problem is it’s pretty far from the closest train station, which is a problem if you’re staying here around winter time. Now, it’s not that far out of context but pretty far if you’re shivering. The place itself is in a quiet part of Ikebukuro but a quick walk away from a lively area of the city so it’s definitely a good place to stay. I’ll be back here if it’s summer time.

The hotel is located away from the Main Street and was hard to find initially, but it’s also great that it’s away from the main drag and yet its within walking distance to restaurants and other major IKEBUKURO Station. The room is tiny but is good enough for two of us.

First stay in first trip to Japan! Amazing business hotel, great location. it is walkable from the train station and offered all good food spots around. Quiet area and exactly as per the description.

Location is a short distance from station, plenty of dining options as well as convenience stores around. Area is just outside the busy area so it is quieter but access to anything you want is just a few streets over.

에어컨에서 냄새도 나지 않았고 호텔이 전반적으로 깔끔해서 좋았습니다. 조식으로 먹을 수 있는 수프와 빵은 건강한 느낌이 들어서 마음에 들었습니다.

Breakfast is not recommended

My husband and I absolutely adored our stay. The hotel was clean and well decorated with friendly staff. It had a small cafe inside, which served soup and tasty breads with a little owl on them! It was also the perfect distance from the station— not right in the middle of everything, but not so far that it was inconvenient. Although the room was small, we only used it for sleeping, which was exactly what we wanted. We're definitely staying here the next time we come to Tokyo!

The hotel is quite away from the station with appx 10 mins walking distance. Had have breakfast at the canteen and foods was prepared and reheated by microwave, butter was found out of stock...

아침식사를 하진 않았지만 메뉴도 다양하고 다른 분들 식사하는 걸 보니 맛있어 보였습니다.

I enjoyed my stay here, good hotel, smart and clean. One issue was the limited breakfast. Good food just quite limited, one choice of drink, I like a juice with the meal then finish with a coffee.

Trevligt och rent hotell. Rummen är små men det var vi medvetna om. Frukosten var inte bra, en ny soppa varje dag. Bra läge och gångavstånd till mkt och tunnelbana.
