Level Chicago Old Town

Gem of a place. Everything was clean & the room was so comfortable. Food places and local stores very close walking distance. Parking seems expensive but it’s worth it because you don’t have to worry about street parking tickets that you’ll probably get anyways. You also get two parking spots back to back from each other. Ammenities are awesome too. Balcony makes things much better.

Nice rooms and amenities, we would stay here again. This was a nice place! We love the location and the fact it was dog friendly. Lots to do for eats/drinks in walking distance and they have a lovely dog area adjacent to the pool on the 8th floor. Nice not to have to go down to the street for potty breaks. Taking off a star for the simple fact that they only have feather pillows (so I had to buy my own hypoallergenic one) and their parking lot was full so we had to park a few blocks away.

Fantastic! Only issue was the staff’s lack of clarity on the hot tub.

The 8th floor was amazing. Steam, sauna room, basketball court, beautiful common area, pool and jacuzzi, would stay here again!

Great except parking

We had parking included. Very secure building and parking ramp. Quiet. Housekeeping very attentive. Front desk staff friendly. Shout out to Eric (he was there a lot, friendly, professional and available for questions or concerns). Great views. 8th floor has a workout room, sauna, steam room, massage room, pool table, ping pong, arcade games, outdoor area with basketball court, pickle ball, dog area. There’s a pool and hot tub but closed for the season. We def will be back. Great location to downtown. Walkable. And Aldi, target and cvs is right there.

Clean and great view and I like the amenities as far as the pool, jacuzzi, game room, computer room, workout room and chill room , the grill outside, the updated kitchen all was a plus.

Apartment with nice view conveniently located in Chicago near Lincoln Park. Grocery stores and good restaurants are nearby. Apartment was clean and looked new

Lots of issues with the unit. Purchases a suite for the weekend. 0/2 televisions worked nor did the room phone. The sink did not drain and we had to wash our hands in the kitchen. The shower did not drain either and when removing the drain cover there was an enormous amount of hair causing the issue. The front desk wasn’t of much help as they were full and stated someone would be in touch. As of 5 days after checkout have not heard back. The area and parking were nice and convenient- such a shame

The view was spectacular. However, the living room tv didn’t work, we were only provided 2 towels when I had 6 guests on my reservation. The phone in the master bedroom wouldn’t work, there were no sheets on the pull out sofa bed. Only one small blanket was provided. Check in was after 4 pm, when I was promised 4 pm check in.

Cool spot. Super noisy at night with the sirens. Maybe a nearby fire station. If you are a light sleeper, beware the north facing rooms.

The staff wasn’t very welcoming. After booking, they send you a form asking for almost everything except your social security number. I understand it’s for the safety of the residents, but I didn’t feel comfortable providing that much information. It felt like I had no choice but to go through with it since I wouldn’t get my money back otherwise. The walls are also extremely thin; you can hear everything. One of the neighbors blasted music from 6 PM until 1 AM on a Tuesday. They only turned it down after I reported it. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

I had no idea how nice this property would be! I had a full one-bedroom apartment and amazing view and amenities. 10/10, would stay again!

Great room - fabulous fitness center. Easy access to grocery stores to stock fridge. Room is furnished with all amenities.

It appeared that the room I booked (and paid extra for) was a corner room with floor to ceiling windows and a Downtown view. To be sure, I called both before and shortly after booking and was told each time that, indeed, I would those features. I also put my understanding in writing in the special requests section at booking. Unfortunately, the representations I received were false. The room did not have floor to ceiling windows, was not a corner and did not face Downtown. The woman I complained about this to offered no accommodation, no apology, nothing. Just told me I got what I got. That said, I enjoyed the property. Nice, large room. No noise from neighbors. Good view, even though it didn't face Downtown. The HVAC worked well (often not the case in hotels). And the appliances were great. I also enjoyed the balcony and ability to open the windows, as I like fresh air. Additionally, the communal floor was quite nice - a large, open air terrace with a pool, hot tub, basketball court, dog walk area, nice patio seating and grills. The floor also had a nice workout area, a few nice lounges and a nice place to work. The building is a short walk from the red line, which allows you to get Downtown quickly and easily. No, they don't clean the room every day or replace the toiletries like in a hotel, but if you are relatively independent and like to be left alone in a quiet, larger room this is a good fit. Just make extra sure you get the room you paid for.

We had a very bad experience during our check in process as they kept us for an hour consisting to send me an email in order to fill in my personal information. The person in charge was writing wrong my email address and asking again to give him second email address then third email,etc Finally he accepted to take my passport and my credit card and proceeded. When we entered the room we found out that the couch where my kids would sleep wasn’t ready, there were no sheets, no pillows, no blankets. I needed to ask and bring me later and get the coach ready by myself, although I have booked for 4 people, it wasn’t prepared. The shower gel was missing from the bathroom and the tv couldn’t work. Next day I asked to take care of these issues and when I came back in the room I realized that they did nothing! Also I realized that there was no room service and I had to pay extra in order to clean my room or change towels! It’s the first time I book an apartment in hotel without any room service! The third day they replaced the shower gel that was missing but the tv still didn’t work! I am very pity for choosing this hotel for my visit to Chicago!

Was initially excited to stay here but before I arrived to check in... they charged my card and I did a pay at hotel situation but I hadn't even arrived and wanted to use a different card. Upon arriving, I find out at the front desk that there is paperwork needing to be filled out. I wish that had been sent ahead of time or communicated. Check in started at 4pm we arrived around 530pm and had an event to be at by 7pm. The paperwork that was needed took about 20min not including having to wait to be helped. So with a 45min check in time... we had to go back and forth about being charged again because the check in attendant wanted to charge another card for my stay. I proceeded to tell him that id already been charged and he preceded to go back and forth until he eventually said he would be only charging for incidentals, only for Monday to arrive and my account having four charges with three being large amounts. Totally unacceptable. And on top of all of that... check out is at 11am,.. house keeping was knocking at 11:01am we were already heading out.. just doing the last walk through.... telling us that check out was at 11am. I'm so sad to have had this experience.

Friendly staff and great amenities

We were supposed to be in a 2 bedroom room but while we were waiting for our room we were told our room was closed for maintenance so we were switched to 2 separate rooms. This was fine but the keys did not work at first and our room would not lock even when we used the deadbolt. So we called the property people and they said someone would come up right away. We waited an hour and had to call again as no one came and we couldn’t leave our room unlocked. When the maintenance guy finally came it was like he was looking for a tip from us. He said I am doing this out of courtesy but I have to get to my 2nd job. We were taken aback by this. No one seemed concerned that we could not lock our door. In addition fan in the bathroom didn’t work. TV in bedroom did not work. Given what we paid I would have expected top of the line service.
