Hotel d'accès très compliqué en voiture, en dépit du GPS. Nous avions réservé via l'hôtel un parking à proximité mais lors de la réservation l'hôtel nous avait demandé de passer d'abord à la réception pour le check-in et pour nous donner le nom du parking. Si nous avions eu le nom du parking à l'avance, facile d'accès et situé non loin de l'hôtel nous n'aurions pas perdu une demi-heure à chercher à accéder à l'hôtel. Titre pompeux (suite présidentielle!!!) pour un logement convenable sans plus.

Excellent location, less than 5 minutes walk from Piazza Principe station. Around 20 minutes walk to main attractions. Luggage storage which is great. Breakfast excellent, definitely recommend it.

The property was conveniently located near the train station, so a short and very easy walk for those traveling by train. And there were 2 beds in a suite for our family of 4, which is tough to find in Europe. Otherwise, we found the property to be very sparse in decor and accommodation. The elevator is very small and old, with many flights of steps to get up to the suites. Breakfast was very bare bones with not much outside of breads, cheeses and fruits.

Stay was okay. Sheets were very thin for it being a cold time of year during my visit. No blankets were available. I also got stuck at the elevator when I was checking out because another person left the elevator for open (the old school kind where there’s is a door to open in order to enter or exit the elevator). On the good side, check in and out were easy and simple. The fixings and decor were nice and it felt very posh from that perspective. It is centrally located/walkable and the staff were very affable.

Room 404. The shower did not function properly. At first, hot water worked fine, after a couple of minutes, only cold water, so my husband could not shower. Great location near the train station and walking distance to the maritime museum (we loved that museum!). Delicious Italian food across the street, many other restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful woman at reception. Easy to check in at the one hotel, then walk a short distance to our spacious room with comfortable bed. Historic elevator, which we found entertaining, but we were warned that if someone forgot to close its door, then the elevator would not work.
Room 404. The shower did not function properly. At first, hot water worked fine, after a couple of minutes, only cold water, so my husband could not shower. Great location near the train station and walking distance to the maritime museum (we loved that museum!). Delicious Italian food across the street, many other restaurants nearby. We had to move to another hotel after waiting a long time for them to fix the AC. The whole day spent with the hotel and expedia trying to fix the AC, which it never work. Andrea from the front desk told expedia a lie saying the issue was fixed, which is not true. Hotel promise fans that never deliver to us. It is the first time I have a bad expirience with expedia and the first time I encounter such a poor customer service in a hotel and a lack of caring for the customer. I paid for a service that they advertise -room with AC- and I did not get that. Horrible experience.

Would be nice to have a microwave, plenty of room for one. Parking is quite a long way away and have to drag your cases through the streets, but you see lots of other people doing the same. Lots of restaurants literally on the doorstep and beautiful Basilica just down the road.

Die Rezeption befindet sich 2 Eingänge weiter weg, ist aber leicht zu finden und sehr stylisch. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite gebucht, der erste Eindruck war allerdings ernüchternd. Die Zimmer sind super simple und schlicht gehalten. Von "Luxus" ist dies weit entfernt. Im Badezimmer hat man überhaupt keine Möglichkeit seine persönlichen Dinge irgendwie zu lagern, die Dusche ist beengend und Schimmel in den Ecken. Das Zimmer selber bietet neben einer kleinen Gadarobe ebenfalls kaum Möglichkeiten seine kleidung zu verstauen, Kleiderhaken an der Wand sind nicht vorhanden. Die Lichter im Schlafbereich knallen voll runter, total ungemütlich. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber qualitativ sehr gut. 3 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt.

Det som drar ned betyget är avsaknaden av förvaringsmöjligheter, garderober och lådor för kläder samt avställningsytor i badrummet för necessär och badrumsartiklar. Läget är jättebra med närhet till tågstationen. Det tar 10-15 minuter att promenera till centrum och hamnen.

The hotel is handy to the station. The rooms are huge with a separate bedroom but they are a bit devoid of furnishings to fill the space. They are also very dark. Some of the staff are are little abrupt. We had checked out of our room before breakfast so had our bags outside of the breakfast area and we got told that if we sit there after we finished eating we can't leave our bags there. I had to tell her we were leaving for an early train and i was waiting for my husband who was in the bathroom!!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, THIS IS A WARNING TO NOT BOOK HERE!!! We had to wait 4 hours outside before checking inn. There was no contact number, except for the one that rang in the reception, and it was closed. But even after all that they were so rude!! There is no information provided for late checkinn. We had kids with us. In the morning instead of apologizing THEY wanted to CHARGE US EXTRA for not checking inn on time we were at hotel 22:00 and got help to checkinn at 02:00 am! NOTHING about this hotel is good for us. Will not recommend.

A delayed flight created the snowball effect, so we were late to check in. The train station (Genoa Piazza Principe) is about a five minute walk from the property. Andre was wonderful, my sister-in-law called him and explained the situation. Andre called me as we were finding our way out of the station and stayed on the phone till he knew we were on our way. The restaurant next door Bar Cava is awesome. I kind of wished we had stayed more than one night.

We had to move to another hotel after waiting a long time for them to fix the AC. The whole day spent with the hotel and expedia trying to fix the AC, which it never work. Andrea from the front desk told expedia a lie saying the issue was fixed, which is not true. Hotel promise fans that never deliver to us. It is the first time I have a bad expirience with expedia and the first time I encounter such a poor customer service in a hotel and a lack of caring for the customer. I paid for a service that they advertise -room with AC- and I did not get that. Horrible experience.

Um dado negativo, nao tem recepção local. A mesma é feita dois predios após. Precisei de serviços e tive que ir no outro prédio duas vezes, e demorou uma 3 h para ser atendido. O café da manhã é otimo. Ressalvo, não existem funcinarios de servico nesse anexo, fato que é muito ruim pro hospede. Não me hospedo mais nele, tem hospedagem muito melhor no entorno.

The good: Room was very large and clean. The elevator worked well which isn’t alway the case in Italy. Air conditioners worked well. Lots of nice windows. Good bed. Location near the train station was handy. Front desk staff were mostly helpful. The bad: Breakfast was scanty and seemed rationed. The person working there was not always friendly. They had intermittent issues with water pressure, usually at a bad time. They knew about it, per one of the cleaning staff. The front desk failed to disclose this to us at time of check in. It was noisy at night past midnight, (street noise and constant ambulances). The area was also a bit seedy as you moved down the street towards the water. Too much garbage and graffiti. Two of the area restaurants we visited did not provide good quality food which was surprising and disappointing. Overall: While not a bad hotel, now that I know the city a bit better, I would never again stay in the area where this hotel is located, and generally, there are much better places to stay in Italy.

Excellent location, less than 5 minutes walk from Piazza Principe station. Around 20 minutes walk to main attractions. Luggage storage which is great. Breakfast excellent, definitely recommend it.

Room 404. The shower did not function properly. At first, hot water worked fine, after a couple of minutes, only cold water, so my husband could not shower. Great location near the train station and walking distance to the maritime museum (we loved that museum!). Delicious Italian food across the street, many other restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful woman at reception. Easy to check in at the one hotel, then walk a short distance to our spacious room with comfortable bed. Historic elevator, which we found entertaining, but we were warned that if someone forgot to close its door, then the elevator would not work.

The room was very spacious, very nice overall. Not too much lighting main room but bedroom was great. Super clean, very good bathroom, including luxury towels. Heating worked well though sometimes the water wasn’t too hot. Very good breakfast though limited selection (no eggs) but great coffee machine.

The bed and bathroom were great! The flooring, room and couch seemed a bit dated, ac was a bit noisy. But service was good. Breakfast was also not bad - cold only but ok. 2 varieties of cold cuts , some cheese, cakes/bread etc The Luxury tag didn’t quite go with my room but all in all it was ok. There was an elevator. The good part was it was just a 2 minute walk from the station .

The property was conveniently located near the train station, so a short and very easy walk for those traveling by train. And there were 2 beds in a suite for our family of 4, which is tough to find in Europe. Otherwise, we found the property to be very sparse in decor and accommodation. Worst hotel on our journey through Italy. Would not recommend. It advertised beautiful rooms but they are not, and breakfast was sparse (if you’re looking for a croissant and no beverage for 16 euro per person including kids per day, it’s your spot).

Wir haben das Hotel zum Zweiten Mal gebucht. Allerdings dieses Mal ein Zimmer zur Straßenseite erhalten. Das Zimmer sehr schön und gemütlich jedoch auch sehr laut.Das hat natürlich den guten Eindruck vom letzten Mal etwas. geschmälert da es nur für 1 Nacht war haben wir nicht an einem Zimmerwechsel gedacht. Frühstück ist ganz ok und italienisch gehalten. ( Eierspeisen ect. gibt es nicht) Sehr freundliches Personal !

We chose this hotel because of location and the size of the room. Location was excellent: at most a 10 min walk from the train station. GREAT location for going up to the castle, down to the Maritime Museum, the Palace Museum and very near the beautiful pedestrian street with all the palaces. Loads of excellent restaurants everywhere in Genoa! We chose a suite (4th floor with elevator) but thinks we would have been happy with a room. The bathroom was very stylish, modern, excellent shower, beautifully appointed. The bed was comfortable with extra bedding in the closet so we could adjust to our preferences. Breakfast was in a lovely room with a ceiling fresco. The attendant was cheerful and prompt to keep everything looking tidy and options plentiful. No eggs - but so much else. The standard European hotel espresso machine which fresh grinds beans, steams milk for lovely cappuccinos, etc. We enjoyed fresh fruit, three kinds of sliced ham, two kinds of cheese, yogurt, muesli, croissants, toast, juices, etc.With the variety provided we changed it up every morning! Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Only issue during our stay was very minor: a TV remote 's batteries were failing, sent an EM note & desk staff came up, replaced them immediately. The lobby does not impress: I'll take a good sleep, great location, nice breakfast over a grand lobby every time!

Very clean and comfortable hotel. It is in a very convenient location, right next to the train station and good restaurants nearby. We reserved 2 presidential suites and one suite felt much smaller than the other, that was our only complaint. Good stay, overall!

We had a lovely stay at HNN. We were given a warm welcome & everything was clearly explained. The room was very clean with air con & complimentary hot drink tray. Also a mini bar which was charged for. The beds were comfy & although there was a bit of traffic noise in the evening, it was quieter in the night & we all slept well. Breakfast was continental, with a good range of breads, pastries, cheese, jam, yogurts & fruits. They had some pre packaged gluten free items for my coeliac husband too. Overall a lovely stay & would thoroughly recommend!

On arrival greeted by a lovely receptionist. Room large. Great air conditioning. Would have been handy to have shampoo and conditioner with travelling. Tea and coffee etc brilliant. I would park at the marina and walk up as under cover and you lock your own car. Not as recommended by hotel where you have to leave key which null and voids your own car insurance.
