The Cozy Afghan Bed & Breakfast

I read a good number of the prior reviews and the one constant I noticed was the number of negative reviews dealing with reservations, and that numerous guests touted Room 54. So, when I made my reservation, I specified Room 54 and received a confirmation for that room. When I arrived, Richard was not on site, but we conversed by phone and he told me where the key would be. It was not for Room 54. He said that the guest in Room 54 decided to stay for an additional night and therefore we were moved to another room. Around 11:00PM that evening, we were a bit warm, so we turned on the air conditioning. By midnight the room had not cooled down, and I could tell the A/C unit was only blowing warm air. Due to the time, we didn't contact Richard but told him about it at breakfast in the morning. He was surprised that it wasn't working and would call someone to get it fixed. We were only staying one night so it wasn't a big deal for us. On the way back to our room, we ran into the guest from Room 54 and mentioned about Richard not knowing the A/C was not working in our room. The guest commented that the A/C was also not working in Room 54 and that Richard was aware of the problem. After the A/C gets fixed, the owners need to fix the wallpaper in the bathroom. Someone had scotch taped every piece of wallpaper to keep it from falling. And now, after many years, the tape has yellowed and is also coming loose. It's time for some routine maintenance.

It was nice to stay in for about 9 nights there is good people here in the cozy Afghan I enjoyed it I will be coming back 2028 to stay again it's not far from town you can Walk to town from the cozy afghan.i enjoyed my stay.

The steps up to the room were difficult. Only 2 pillows so it was difficult to watch the TV from the bed and there was only a desk chair in the room. The staff were very accommodating.
