Easy exit off 95, very well lit parking lot with security cameras. Room was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast selections. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed at Tru by Hilton in Lumberton, NC, for our anniversary trip, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The building is beautiful, both inside and out, and has a modern, welcoming atmosphere. The lobby includes a fully stocked mini-market where you can pay at the front desk or charge items to your room, which was very convenient. There’s also a comfortable lounge area to the right when you walk in, complete with ample seating, a TV, and a pool table. We booked a handicap accessible room, and it was perfect. The bathroom was large enough for my wheelchair, and the shower setup was excellent—with both a standard and lower shower head, plus a shower chair provided. Everything felt clean, spacious, and well-designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were fresh and smelled clean. The location is also ideal—just across from Walmart and surrounded by a great selection of food options, including fast food and a buffet restaurant. Outside, the grill and lounge area was clean, inviting, and had a relaxing atmosphere in the evening. The hotel staff truly made our stay memorable. Everyone we spoke with was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. Our stay was wonderful from start to finish, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We’re already looking forward to booking another stay at a Hilton property.

Area was safe. Room was very clean. Fun outdoor patio and indoor areas. Nice property. Close to WAWA and Chik Fil A. Easy on and off I 95. Highly recommend.

Brand new hotel. Very modern looking with nice design features. Adequate parking and a nice free breakfast was provided for guests. Easy on/off to I-95 at Exit 22. Would recommend.

This hotel is conveniently located right off I-95 in Lumberton. We have a funeral for a family member is Whiteville about 30 minutes away so this location worked great. Hotel is brand new so it is totally up to date. Has a nice lounge area with pool table. The facilities were very clean and staff was friendly

Fantastic stay! Game room with plenty of smoke-free seating and a pool table make this a hotel that we will definitely include in our travel plans again in the future. Rooms/beds were comfortable and bathroom was the cleanest we have found. Staff was very pleasant and immediately addressed minor issue (battery replacement in TV remote).

Room was great! Very nice lobby area and fire pits. The staff was busy but very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

A brand new hotel in Lumberton, NC!! Yaaay--the check in was great and the customer rep was wonderful. The breakfast had many varieties of processed food--but REAL plates and flatware. (Loved the real NYC style bagels). However, NOBODY cleaned our room. When we got in thta night, I had to request that the trash be emptied and some clean towels. There is a door sign to notify of pets in the room and to tell housekeeping NOT to bother (you) now---but NO SIGN that says please clean this room. Again, the front desk reps were more than helpful and gave us clean towels and emptied the trash. This is no way to run a new hotel.

The facility is new, clean, and well maintained. The bed sheets are microfiber and not cotton! They are terrible! The breakfast was okay. The fresh fruit was not fresh. Oranges and apples looked old. Fruit salad looked old. The kitchen staff did not keep the dining room tables clean.

All doors in rooms slam so it wakes you up every time. My room AC unit made a vibration noise all night long which kept me up. The comforter on the bed smelled disgusting so I just slept with the sheet on. I let the person at the front desk know all this the next morning

This is a great facility. The room was large with plenty of room for a yoga mat! Had Plenty of lighting, counter surfaces. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Even the breakfast was great- make your own waffles! The rest of the food was freshly made and there was a big selection of options. And the price was right. Would definitely stay here again.

Title: Impossible to sleep – unbearable noise all night This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. Despite being a relatively new property, the noise level is absolutely unacceptable. It honestly felt like sleeping on the shoulder of I-95. Trucks were passing all night long, and the road noise came straight into the room as if there were no soundproofing at all. Even with the air conditioner on — which was already extremely loud by itself — the highway noise was still completely audible. There was no escaping the sound. As if that wasn’t enough, the hallway doors slammed violently starting around 5 a.m. Every single time someone entered or left their room, the doors would bang shut with such force that it would jolt you awake. It’s the kind of noise that triggers instant stress when you’re asleep. Rest is impossible in this hotel. If you value sleep, peace, or basic acoustic insulation, stay somewhere else. I would never stay here again and absolutely do not recommend it.

Tru in Lumberton is an excellent hotel. The staf is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast is amazing.

For a Hilton I was not super impressed with this place. Being right next to the freeway the road noise was super loud. The beds all had polyester sheets, at least give me some cotton. The polyester was hot and slippery. The soaps and amenities provided in the room were the cheapest possible. and there was no coffee maker nor tea kettle in the room, not even a bottle of water was provided. I expected more for the price and from a Hilton honestly. I would not stay here again.

Noisy! Floors are thin and we heard lots of noise from the surrounding rooms. Over and above the expected traffic noise.

The staff was friendly, the room was very nice with the exception of the air conditioning unit was very loud. Our overall stay was great.

Was hoping for a quiet room. About as close to the interstate as you can get. Listening to the loud trucks buzzing by now :-(

Terrible experience – never staying at Tru by Hilton again I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. I booked and paid for my room at Tru by Hilton in Lumberton, NC through Expedia three days in advance. The reservation was confirmed. But when I arrived after a 12-hour drive from Florida, the front desk told me my booking didn’t exist in their system. Even after I gave them my confirmation number, they claimed it was under someone else’s name. I asked for a manager—guess what? They said there wasn’t one! Seriously? After all that, I was forced to pay AGAIN for a different room that was smaller and didn’t have the features I originally paid for. No explanation, no apology, no accountability. In the end, I spent nearly $400 for a stressful, disappointing stay. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never stay at this hotel or any Tru by Hilton again, and I strongly suggest others avoid it too.

Place needs to be shut down. Brand new bldg, as soon as you walk in the counters are bubbling up and need replacing. Checked into our room, TV didn’t work, refrigerator to store my shots in did not work, none of the outlets worked. I took a shower only to come out to the bedroom floor flooded from the shower. Went to the front desk, advised them of all the issues and that I will not be staying there. They promised a refund within 5 days. I had to go down the street and stay at Spring Hill suites (100% recommend). Now that I’m home from vacation after 2 weeks I am dealing with Tru by Hilton because they never processed my refund. If you call the call center they are unable to get an answer via phone to that location so now they have to open a case and say I’ll hear “something” within 72 hours. Will never stay at a Tru By Hilton again

The staff were great. We asked about local restaurants and got several ideas. We chose one and had a great meal. The rooms were very clean. And not noisy even though we were close to the highway. We enjoyed the stay!

The hotel stay was great. Room was very clean. Breakfast was super!!!! The only thing that bothered us was at check in. We along with others had to wait for someone to come to the front desk to cjek us in. Only a few minutes but waiting is not the first thing for a check in

The hotel is easy off highway 95 there is quite a bit of traffic on the road into hotel area. Options to eat there are fast food ,restaurant options nearby. There is gas & convenient store as well as coffee too. I did not have breakfast at hotel. The community guest areas looked very nice. Definitely would recommend.

This is a brand new hotel and very clean. Conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and shopping. The only problem is that it is right next to I-95 and I could hear the traffic which kept me awake.

It was new! The breakfast was far by the best compare to others! Will stay again if I come out this way again
