A simple, and nice experience. A cabin like feeling. Check in lady was a sweetheart. Very polite and helpful for places to eat at night or the next morning. Her family also was in the other part of the building. We were passing through and glad we stopped here. You should too! No breakfast available. They also do NOT have free rooms available through hotels.com. I recommended it as an option. I’d stay here if I’m a skier or a couple getaway for a couple days, if traveling through.

Had a lovely one night stay here The place was amazing very country-like. They actually had to apologize to me because I had no more king rooms that I'd reserved and gave me a double instead. The room I got was huge and there were no complaints. Bathroom and sink area were completely renovated. Rest of the room look amazing as well. It had a lovely porch. There was also a large grassy lawn in between all of the buildings with picnic tables. I actually had take out dinner here. There is vending and they have one communal microwave in the vending room but each room has their own refrigerator

Room was spacious & very clean. We liked how the driveway went around back side of building & the porches faced a well maintained yard with pinic tables & a charcoal grill tou could use. Bed was a little on the firm side for us. Would definitely stay here again...;^)...

Cabins were very nicely laid out, extremely quiet and clean. Parking was right next to each cabin and very convenient.

We only stayed overnight one night on our way home from a long trip. We will go back in the future for a few days getaway. Nice, quiet place with center garden courtyard. Front porches on each cabin with chairs and a table, nice place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or beer.

I liked having your own porch, and your own parking spot.

The only complaint we had was a very poorly lit parking area. The old owners left the porch lights on so at least the parking spot wasn’t so dark. I have trouble walking and found it terribly difficult to get to the porch from the car.

The cottage was really nice! The only thing that could make it better is a microwave in the room but that’s not a big deal…!!

Loved the individual cottages and it was great sitting out on the porches and enjoying the weather. Area was safe and quiet and very conveniently located to be able to visit various waterfalls/hiking trails and Grey Towers.

Nice to have a front porch with chairs and table for sitting outside with a drink or snack.

Room 10: odd odor from AC, one bedside lamp did not work, other lamp was difficult to turn on (had to use phone flashlight at night), chair on porch was cracked. Mentioned to management but nothing done except fan was provided. Linens and bathroom were clean.

Clean, individual cabins, with all the necessary amenities are quiet and confortable. I would stay here again.

The property could use a little more tender loving care. However all the important stuff was there: bed very comfortable, place really clean and quiet. Loved the stay and will definitely stay again.

I chose to stay here because the reviews were very high. However, what's terrible is that I woke up itching in the middle of the night. I had big red bumps on my body and where it touched the bedsheet. This kept me awake for the rest of the night. I had originally booked for two nights, but under these circumstances, I didn't dare to stay for the second night. It's really scary. I don't know if the previous reviews were genuine. But when I stayed in other hotels (non-motel), I never experienced red bumps on my body.

Found at least 40-50 ants over the several days mostly all over the sink and bed. My wife got bit on her thigh. There is also a design flaw in their front steps with a very large overhang and deep step (x2). It immediately caught my toe and I went down hard getting bruised on both forearms and knees with large contusions on my knees and nose, as my face hit a metal chair sitting more in the walking part and not off to the side. I'm notifying the proper township authority. BTW my prescription glasses got scrstched, too. All I got was a push back when I notified the desk. There's a couple of real hotels just up the road that you may want to stay at. We have travelled extensively and this was absolutely possibly the worst we stayed at.

The owners were super friendly. The sheets were the most comfortable I ever used. The bed was great. The shower could have had a bit more pressure, and the price as a little high for what it was-but that was the going rate for the area, so... Overall it was great. Would stay there again.

I loved everything about the place, except the bright light coming through 2 windows. The room could benefit from some blackout curtains.

Great value, friendly owner, huge king bedroom with loveseat, armchair, table, bench we used as an ottoman, small refrigerator with a freezer, 2 sinks, porch, good privacy, very quiet, very close to town but not walkable. Very clean. Charming, retro. We will be back.

The welcome on arrival was really good and made to feel like a relative visiting, The room was spacious though furniture is a little dated, it was cleaned everyday spotlessly. Great place to use as a base to explore Milford and the surrounding area. Nice to be able to sit on the porch after a busy day with a nice glass of wine and watch the sunset. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Lovely owners, exactly as advertised. Wifi and other tech matters, like outlets and chargers, were all very thoughtful. Will definitely be back.

Motel web site states that service dogs are welcome. However, at check-in that was denied. No kind of dogs were allowed. Motel returned the charge and we had to find a different accommodations.

I chose this motel because of it's high rating and that it's a family owned business. On arriving to the property I saw that it was having a new black top put down on part of the parking area and road. I was given keys to a cottage in the far back of the property. The room was clean and neat however it had a strong room freshener smell. I opened the windows and sat on the porch hoping to air it out. It seemed pleasant as I read my book until dusk. The next morning 7:15am by a pavement roller going up and down the gravel property road behind my cottage. It was extremely loud and shook the cottage. Then at 7:45am the front desk called and asked me to move my car to the front of the property so the pavement workers could have access to my parking spot. When I went to leave the cottage @ 8:00am, the walking path in front of the steps to the cottage was blocked by new asphalt being rolled out on the path. I couldn't believe this...it was foggy and I had planned to wait for the weather to improve before leaving check out is 11:00am. It was 8:00 and I couldn't relax here anymore. I was very inconvenienced and decided to leave. I did express my dissatisfaction to the staff and sent an email to the owner but I did not receive a reply. Why wasn't I warned about the morning work,...why did they start so early? I was very disappointed. The owners don't seem to care about their guests. They were just too greedy. I would not recommend this stop. Try the motel across the street. .

We stayed here two nights to attend a wedding. Our host was very attentive and accommodating. The room was rustic, but everything was neat, clean and comfortable. The area is quite and peaceful.

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet. A little older property but well maintained. Separate building for each room, private. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Mentioned I wish I found this property sooner but popped up by accident. Could have used it over the past 30 years I traveled and for fishing trips!

This place feels private, it's quiet and the people are friendly. It's in a central location. We've stayed before and will stay again.

A native of Northwestern Pennsylvania, I've lived in Maine for 50 years. I've traveled back and forth often, and always break up the trip somewhere near the PA-NY state line. I've stayed off and on at Myer Motel for decades. It's changed little over the years - it's a classic, 1950's-1960's cabin-style property with several one and two-room buildings. Don't expect a digital key card: you'll get an old-school key with a massive hotel fob for the strictly-mechanical lock on the door. Still, there's satellite television and good free wifi on-property and the rooms are always clean, quiet and more than comfortable. It's my habit to just call the motel and book a room. I did that on my most recent trip and found the price higher than the modest rates I was used to a few years ago but that was no surprise. Everything costs more today than it did a year ago. I was very surprised, however, when I had to delay my arrival by a day. I was told there was a three-day minimum cancellation period, so I was stuck with the bill, regardless. On my return trip, I booked at the same motel with Expedia and got a much lower rate. I highly recommend the property but take time to shop around: you'll probably get a much-better rate through an online jobber than you will with the property itself. Milford's a nice town, with great dining within a mile of the motel. There's also Grey Towers, a national historic site that will appeal to anyone interested in forestry or American history.

Arrived after check in was due to close but had phoned ahead and told no problem. Individual units are really nice although could do with a little investment to make them excellent. Very quiet overnight and bed’s really comfortable.No breakfast but local diner was excellent

This is our second stay with Myer mo5el and we're very satisfied with the cabin that we were given. We'll be back in the Summer for a longer stay! We've made this our home away from home!

Room was as stated, Clean, nice size, and comfortable. Host at check in was very friendly and informative on places to go.
