I tend to rate Hampton Inn's on a few consistent criteria, and most of the time, they are at least serviceable. This one was not. Cleanliness - the room smelled horrible, when we laid in bed, a disgusting smell came from the pillows. Not sure if this is cleanliness, but the sheets were very itchy and uncomfortable Noise - While we expected road noise given it's right next to I-45, we didn't expect to hear every single noise in the rooms next to us (could've had a conversation with our neighbors), every step above us and every door closing around us Comfort - Usually, you can expect to have a comfortable bed at Hampton - not so here and it seems like a relatively new hotel Breakfast - worst hotel breakfast I've ever had and I've had some bad ones. Food tasted weird and definitely not fresh.
