Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa/Raymond James Stadium

When I arrived at the property I noticed a homeless encampment at the edge of the parking lot. There were huge shipping containers in the parking lot which blocked parking spaces closer to the building. I stayed on the 4th floor where there were large boxes stacked along the hallway. The carpet in the hallway had a musky smell. My room was clean which was the only highlight. Upon checkout I was told that the $100 room fee would not be charged to my credit card. When I checked my credit card several days later they had charged the $100 room fee to my credit card. I spoke to the desk clerk several days later and they said it would be removed. I checked my credit card again a few days later and the charge was still there. Based on this experience I will not be staying there again.

hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However we were disappointed that the elevator was out of service (we had to carry our luggage up to our third floor assigned room). We also found that some of the electrical outlets in the room had no power, and in fact, one of the outlets showed black electrical burn marks. Most disappointing was the lack of truly hot water in the shower: it never was more than mildly warm, despite running the water for more than five minutes.

The hotel was under renovation, and the floor was dirty, the elevator didn’t work! Etc

I spent nearly $500 for 3 nights, NO Shuttle service to Raymond James Stadium ! I had to walk 1.5 Miles to the Venue or Uber there ! Outside my window was Loads of Trash and old bed mattresses dumped on the ground, half of the hotel was closed down, the pool was Closed by 10 pm ! And to Top it all off they Ripped me off for my $100 Deposit !! I did ZERO damage to my room ! If your looking for a Vacation in Tampa , DO NOT STAY HERE !

The place is a dive and needs to be razed to the ground. The sheets and bathroom and floor were clean! Check in was easy. Cosmetic upgrades were very nice! though unfinished. NOT as advertised! No laundry, no hot tub, broken waffle iron. Wife space where baseboards were missing in room. Smells old. LUMPY mattresses. But clean enough to sleep, and close to the airport.

Arrived at the hotel and immediately noticed how dirty the pool and surrounding area was. When entering the lobby we waiting several minutes for a VERY rude desk staff to acknowledge our arrival. We were then told they they were sold out tonight and would not honor our reservation. Which honestly worked out for the best since we didn’t feel save from the second we stepped foot on the property.

Property needs a lot of renovations, the bottom of my bathtub was cracked and soft, it was covered with a mat. Room was quite and clean, out door pool was not heated and most of the pool patio furniture was broken and very dirty....over all staff was very friendly and helpful, but very few spoke English, Very close to the Tampa airport, I would give a rating of 5 out of 5....

It appears the hotel is being remodeled, the hallway on the 3rd floor was half full with boxes. The individual air conditioning unit is very noisy with some type of vibration. The bathroom ventilation fan was also very nousy when in use.

Nice place, the only situation to mention was leakings in a few common areas when raining but they don't cause real problems

The only good things to say about this hotel is the check-in guy was nice enough and the sheets appeared clean. Other than that, it was terrible. Old, rundown, decrepit. There is a sign that says it’s independently owned and operated from Days Inn, and Days Inn should be horrified to let them use their name. Typical Days Inns I’ve stayed in are clean, relatively updated (within the last 10 years, I’m not overly picky) and at least somewhat modern. There are no words to really describe the horrible state this room was in. It did appear to be clean, but it was hard to tell since it was so old, tiles were cracked and Floors were damaged. Couch seemed to be from the 90’s and I would not sit on it, all the furniture has stains and splatters on them. The only reason I stayed is because it was a last minute booking due to flight cancellation and I was only needing it for 6 hours by the time I got there at 10pm after waiting in the airport all day and having to leave at 4 am for my new flight. The bed looked clean and well-made, but the sheets were scratchy and the mattress terrible. I probably would have gotten more sleep at the airport. It was $125, so I didn’t expect a lot, but this was pretty surprisingly bad compared to others I’ve stayed in under similar circumstances and price ranges. Lobby was gross and outdated. Pool dirty, not that I was going to use it but I walked by since it’s by the front door and it was in awful shape too.

The most horrible experience at this property. Lacks on cleaning. Mold & mildew smell in the rooms. Front deskattent lacks on manners. Rooms are not in conditions. They charge over a $160. For a room that has damp linens and a toilet that is not bolt in place. Literally could been lifted with your hands. Spiders in the shower. All 3 rooms that theygave us where in the same condition. Terrible service, they still charge us for their bad service and we did not stay due to the unsanitary conditions.

Absolutely disgusting! Dried blood on the bathroom door and floor. Broken fixtures, barely any water pressure. Staff was extremely reluctant to give extra towels. They ran my credit card before i even got there to check in. They shouldn't be allowed as a choice on Hotels.com--it is BY FAR the worst hotel ive ever stayed at

Dirty! Hair and dirt everywhere. The entire room was definitely given a horrible “new management paint job. Extremely low water pressure and the tub handle was not secure. Black mold on the shower curtain.

If you are looking for an average or above average hotel, this is not it. The room was dirty. There was mold on the ceiling and all over the bathroom. The flooring was coming up. The entire hotel smells like weed. We reserved a king room but, only got a queen room. There was no one around to help us make the change after we checked into our room For $179, this was a terrible deal.

There were dust mites in the sheets. There was food on the floor still. It was disgusting and dirty

There was dried cat food on the floor. The room was dusty like no one had been in there for a while. We canceled and moved to a different hotel.

We secured 2 rooms; the first one had flickering lights and the outlets didn’t work properly so we weren’t able to charge our phones overnight. The second room had rain coming through the ceiling lights and raining onto the bed. Also the toilet water was running off/on and the curtains don’t keep out the parking lot lights at night. Both rooms were on the 3rd floor.

Place needs a little TLC and bed needs a new mattress.

The property was in a decent location, rooms were very rundown and smaller than anticipated. Tiles in the floor were cracked/broken and moving.

The room looked relatively small, old, and looked a bit worn down. My room key stopped working less than 24 hours after I checked in.

The only complain was the AC , was very loud and wasn''t cooling.

Ugh. Tiny room. Like a closet. Many of electric Outlets didn't work. Bathroom door would not close. Little to no hot water. Remote didn’t have battery cover. Toilet seat was loose. Water pressure was not good. Mattress had a hump in the middle. Request for additional towels was ignored. My girlfriend says if I go back, I'll be traveling alone. Feel stupid for paying $200 -- 1 night -- for this gross room.

First 2 rooms showed, the shower was cold and tub dirty, room afterwards, the a/c unit wasn’t working and shower spraying everywhere. Attendant gave me an “upgrade” but that room only had only cold water… besides the cold water, the room itself was decent

Shower did not work first night. Got it fixed but dripped all night. Was told on 2 separate occasions that maintenance would come fix it. They never came. Ceiling lights didn’t turn on with switch. Was told switch was behind the tv. Had to unplug microwave to use coffee pot. Toilet had issues also.

Staff members were super rude.

We arrived well before the 4 pm check in time (11 am) . I explained to the front desk clerk that we had just gotten off a cruise and hadn't expected to arrive at the hotel as early as we had. We had a 14 month old with us and coukd we please check in early. He asked me to come back in an hour and tgey would have our room ready and it was ready in about 1.5 hrs, now thats service! They didn't have to do this but they did for us and i am very grateful. The room was clean and ready for us. My only negative is tge hotel could use some renovations and upgrades but its clean and the beds were comfortable

One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Lots of maintenance issues (missing electrical plates), had to replace room key four times in 3 days, did not have my reservation when I arrived, when I left I was double charged and the hotel would not work with me to correct (had to get with corporate to address). My advice is to avoid this hotel Nothing met what i expected from this brand

Looks aren't everything...and the exterior didn't seem the most inviting when I first pulled up. HOWEVER...it was actually a great stay. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable and had any amenity we needed. I was traveling with a pet and went outside both late at night as well as early morning, and felt very safe while walking around the area with my dog.

Customer service wasn't great. I'm still waiting for my receipt front the front desk. After they charged me a hundred dollars to check in after I already payed in advance. I still haven't received a refund for that amount.

Service was terrible, rude, not helpful, lobby and hallways smelled like animal shelter.

My stay at this hotel was frustrating from the start. The lobby and even my room had a strong smell of marijuana, which was extremely unpleasant — especially considering this is supposed to be a non-smoking property. It made the environment feel unclean and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, when I checked out, I was told that part of my deposit was being withheld due to a light stain on the bed sheets — something that could have easily been cleaned with standard laundry. No clear policy was ever shown or explained to me regarding such charges, and I was treated with little courtesy when I asked for clarification. The front desk staff showed poor communication skills and no willingness to resolve the issue professionally. I left feeling mistreated and disappointed. This hotel seriously lacks in cleanliness, communication, and guest respect. I do not recommend it, especially to families or travelers looking for a safe, smoke-free, and respectful environment.

Excellent location

Breakfast was really good. Had internet connection, rooms were nice, quiet. The area wasn’t the greatest for walking around & the hotel was not easy to get to without a car (had to walk down a busy street with no sidewalk with luggage).

The property is much older than it looks in the photos. It could def use some updating. The beds were much harder than we're used to, it needs some room darkening shades or curtains, and the pool was dirty. The room was pretty clean though and the air conditioner worked very well. It cooled the room down quickly, which is very important to us. The location was very convenient to both Raymond James Stadium as well as George Steinbrenner Field.

This hotel was hard to find as it was hidden away off the main road. It was clean and staff was friendly. Not sure I’d stay again due to location.

Building is in a not so great area, also in very rough condition. It is located very close to the stadium, so that’s a plus

I stayed one night at the Days Inn and I felt safe in the area. The room was outdated but clean and everything worked. The actual inside of the hotel was kinda dirty but not enough to make me want to leave right then and there. The staff was nice and it was quiet throughout the night. I would stay again if I’m just doing only one night.

Horrible neighborhood. Homeless hanging around. We DID NOT stay. Found other accommodations. I would never recommend this hotel.

The room that I was in was faulty. The toilet wasn’t working we had to remove the top of the toilet and manually hold down the compartment in the toilet to have the water to rise in order for us to flush it. The dresser drawer wouldn’t stay closed to where my mom walked into it in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. The telephone didn’t work. The breakfast was cold when it should’ve been hot. The coffee dispenser wasn’t working. Also the waffle machine wasn’t working properly. I complained to the front desk several times about the room. He said that the maintenance guy was going to fix the problems in the room and it never got fixed. The stay there was just horrible

The beds were comfortable but the room was dark. There was no hot water for our entire stay (2 nights). The breakfast was almost nonexistent and of poor quality.

The room need some upgrades. The toilet seat was almost falling off. The hairdryer was not working. The room I reserved for my son’s family said it was a non smoking room but it smelled like smoke. The breakfast was good.

The breakfast sausage and egg was always cold even though they just put it out. Room was clean. Toilet would intermittently not work but not sure if it was because of post hurricane issues or just the toilet. Pool area was nice and enjoyed the water. Staff always friendly.

There was no hot water to take a shower. They said they only had warm water for the entire place. Never in my life have I stayed somewhere that has said that, plus we were not allowed to bring food into our room!!! I will never book again!

Good breakfast at this hotel. They need to take care of repairs when requested.

Exhaust fans don't work, could see daylight around A/C unit, no pressure in the shower, told no manager on site when i asked for a discount. fire alarm went off, breakfast is a joke, cold eggs if they have any. Ignorant staff at best. Staff called me at 11 am while i was driving and told me if i did not give them a credit card number right now they would not hold my registration.

We were dissapointed at the apperiance of the hotel. We had styed at previous DaysnInn with much. more elegant looks. The breakfast was below standard to other hotels we had previously stayed, for the price we were paying.

We had a great quick stay for sons football championship game:. Despite other reviews.. our room was super clean and quiet. The breakfast had waffles, juice, bagels, other pastries, coffee, I've seen way worse breakfast.. it also had sausage and egg patties. The check-in process was very easy. I would stay here again for an overnight trip.
