I cannot say enough about how good our experience with Grand Venus la Residence is. The rooms and the grounds are maintained very well. The pool is a really nice respite after a day of sightseeing around town. The main thing that puts this place over the top for me is the attentiveness of the staff. We had a few issues during our visit and the staff went out of their way to resolve these issues. From the front desk, the restaurant servers and housekeepers, all greeted us with a smile and genuine concern making sure that all was well. The breakfast menu is set with 7-8 different variations but everything we tried was excellent. If you need a nice place to stay while visiting Siem Reap you cannot go wrong by staying there.

The property was very quaint and peaceful. We had such a wonderful stay here and the staff was always very helpful. Although it’s a little further from the city, it’s a short tuktuk ride ($3) into town. And Angkor complex is just around the corner so we actually found the location to be perfect for us.

The room was in good condition. The pool has many tiles missing and is in need of repair. The hot water takes a LONG time to get warm. Like a really long time. The safe malfunctioned but thankfully the staff was great and helped me get my documents out.
