This was a no hassle, easy stay. No one bothered us, we easily came in and out. Properly was upscale and cleaner than a convent! Only downside was : 1. Website showed outdoor pool that doesn’t exist. 2. Gym was under construction We didn’t eat breakfast, but it sounded delish! Perfect stay! Def will book again!

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff who always greeted us with smiles, nice pool, yummy breakfast (also connected pancake house restaurant), nice area of town, within walking distance of Wole Foods Market, Starbucks, Jers Pizza, not ar from United Center. Would definitely stay again. Please note: tiny parking garage which is first come, first served, parking cost not included with hotel but remember to pay for parking at check out desk before trying to leave garage!

Hotel was great. Clean spaces, the pool and other amenities were very nice. I love the city view from the pool on the 14th floor, with adjoining fitness center and roof top deck. My only complaint was that the pool was a little too cold to be enjoyable.

Everyone was very nice and helpful Staff was always polite and made a point to talk to you! Room was exactly like pictured. Very clean and comfortable. Bathroom not very private , can hear everything happening in there ! Great breakfast! Would not recommend parking your car here though. Parking deck is very small and tight. And limited spaces. They do have a list of other areas close by , as I came back from a concert and no parking available! Lobby is on the 3rd floor.

The room looked ok at first until we open the refrigerator and foul smell and spoiled food found. We had a wedding event to go to right away, so i just re moved all the food and took them to the front desk to dispose of. The hotel was informed but since we had an event to go to, we did not have time to go thru the rest of the room until late in the evening. I was looking for glasses for my water, noticed the diswasher unit just practically unattached when i tried to open the door....which was a surprise (i did inform the hotel as well). Glasses did not look throughly cleaned. Because of the above, i was paying a little more attention when i use the shower, which i notice black molds on the shower curtain! I am extremely disappointed of the room and told to reach out to get a refund for the stay. I hope Expedia will help me to get the compensation. My room had semen on the headboard of the bed. The sink was broken in the bathroom. The garbage cans were disgusting. When I first arrived, there was no parking and I had to walk four blocks on ice with my luggage.

It was a great stay. Nice view and the bed was super comfy. Everything was very clean. Only issue that was trying to connect your phone to the tv to play YouTube or one of your streaming services.

Wonderful place for a family in the West Loop! The rooms are very large (especially for Chicago). Easy walk to the trains and lots of restaurants nearby. Bonus? The pool was great for the kiddos to get a little swimming in. The breakfast in the morning was perfect - enough yummy options for everyone. We will definitely stay again!

Property was within walking distance to many restaurants. Short Uber ride to United Center. Pool and lobby areas were nice. Room had a nice setup and beds were comfortable. Staff was helpful with finding area parking.

Enormous room which appeared newly updated, very clean & with great in room amenities. Noise transfer between rooms made sleeping tough & despite the toughly worded rules on “no parties” this was impossible for (hardworking & caring) staff to handle. The property might consider more coffee urns a good investment for breakfast!!

Overall, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the quick and easy check-in. The only issue we experienced was with service responsiveness. We requested extra blankets and had to call twice, ultimately waiting about an hour and a half before they were delivered. The above rating is not for the property--it's for the staff who tried to check us in. Since they were overbooked, we had to be "walked" to another Hyatt property. If the check in clerk had explained that when you get "walked" to another hotel, you are required to return to the original hotel after the first night. (BTW, we were traveling with my 90 year old mother-in-law who has mobility issues, and I would DEFINITELY remember if they told us to return the next day.) We were not told to return and wrongly stayed at the new hotel, which caused a billing nightmare. My son already paid Expedia, but we were charged again for the stay. Most of the charges fell off the credit card within 5 days, but 2 had stuck until we called the hotel to remove the last 2 pending charges. It took over 2 weeks to finally get this situation resolved! We were told by the Hyatt staff at the original hotel that using a 3rd party for booking rooms is not ideal since you don't have the ability to check actual room availability. That disconnect is very bad and discourages me from using a 3rd party reservation service, preferring to go directly with the hotel for a reservation.

Long lines at check in. One person working as slow as possible.We Wanted to get something to drink one of the staff directed us to the bar where no one was working. The front desk said should be open ? 1 hr later asked again they said sorry bartender called in ... so ??? Billion dollar corporation doesnt have a backup bartender ? For the recored the bar never opened while we were there. The rooms are noisy! There is no insulation in this building. You hear everyone fighting, farting and f**king! At one point I thought my door was open the people in the hallway sounded like they we're in our room. The room had spill stains on the walls that have never been cleaned etc. The breakfast was an absolute nightmare! Attempted to eat twice ! Both times everything was empty and 12-20 people waiting for them to bring out more food. We left went to local restaurant. We stayed here because of its location, Being walking distance to the event we were attending. Next time I'll stay somewhere else and pay for an uber.

My partner and I experienced a horrific day of travel. Upon arrival at 3:00 in the morning we were greeted by a front desk customer service rep who upgraded our room and was very sympathetic and friendly. Kiana who was the desk supervisor for the next day put together a toiletry bag for us because our luggage was also delayed. she was incredibly friendly and so helpful and a breath of fresh air after experiencing no customer service all day from the airline. They turned my frown upside down with thier compassion, empathy and kindness. Thanks Kiana and the front desk team!!!!!

Probably one of the WORST hotels I have ever stayed at - and I have been going to Hyatt's for over 30 years. Horrible service - I had to ask FOUR (4) TIMES to have my room cleaned. Second day - I called 2X - no one ever answered. I had to call using the outside phone line to the Hotel for them to answer - then they told me to take the garbage outside the room. Just HORRIBLE !!!

This was my first time to Chicago, so I kind of just picked a hotel I felt could accommodate my needs. The hotel was amazing. The location was great. We could ride share or walk to multiple attractions within short time. The breakfast was really good, and they continued to refresh until end time. The rooftop sitting area was amazing. It was 5 of us in a double bed with sofa. We had more than enough space to occupy us all. I would definitely start here again.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times, and it is our go to when we are going to an event at the United Center because it's an easy walk to / from a concert or game. Hyatt service is consistent and helpful. Nice lobby area with bar (including some outside seating) on the 3rd floor, and also a pool and outdoor area on an upper floor. Rooms are well designed, quiet, and comfortable, with great beds and showers. Breakfast is nicely done, with helpful and friendly staff. The only challenge is hotel-provided parking, which is VERY limited and expensive. However, whenever we've brought a car, I've had little problem finding a safe street spot to park. This West Loop neighborhood is buzzing, with tons of restaurants and bars to walk to nearby, and easy walking access to the Loop if you're in town for work. Will continue to stay at this hotel for a great West Loop home base.

Great spot is a fantastic high energy neighborhood. Feels calm amidst the bustling city outside which cozy rooms, great facilities and walkable to shopping and some of the best restaurants around. Parking is a little scarce so be prepared to pay for and walk to the nearby public garage one block away.

Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean. All the staff members we dealt (front desk and housekeeping) with were friendly, polite, professional and helpful. The only disappointment during our stay was the breakfast. The eggs were just awful, and many of the other food items needed to be replenished but never were. We opted for going out for breakfast after the first morning. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms and beds were great except for the shower pressure and the tub not draining. The breakfasts were good. However, the services was poor. Empty food sources , not filling them at all or in a timely manner. The dining area was not taken care of as far as wiping off tables. Staff not overly friendly either.

We were extremely disappointed, like many other customers, after spending 30 minutes in line for breakfast, only to receive just potatoes. There was no bread, eggs, waffles, limited cereal options, no plates, and bowls. The kitchen staff, including an unhappy lady, announced that they were done bringing additional food. When we approached the front desk, they assured us more food was coming, contradicting what the kitchen staff had informed us. We were asked for our phone number, promising the kitchen manager would call us, though it remained unclear how that would resolve the issue. We booked a room with breakfast included, leaving us with no alternative for food. If this reflects your standard service, please inform customers that breakfast at this hotel is inconsistent and consider offering a paid breakfast option. This experience was misleading, and while we don't have photos, there was a lady taking pictures of the subpar "breakfast" – hopefully, she'll share them for everyone to see. This is a shame as the hotel appears to be very clean and modern.

They need a restaurant if they are going to advertise having one. Their "restaurant" is prepacked food with a selection of about 6-7 items. It is topped off with plastic utensils in wrapping while you are sitting at the bar. Rooms need to be updated with more charging area's and more business friendly.
