Stayed with my dog (english springer spaniel). Dog bed, food & water bowls doggie room service menu all provided. Car parking is max 2.1m height and didn't suit my car. Street parking (accross the road & down the hill) is free after 5pm Friday for the weekend. Plenty of grass for Jerry to do his business across the road. The staff were great. The room was well appointed.

We had a wonderful 5 day. The desk staff organized our disabled parking and we were free to come and go. The underground parking allowed us to easily transfer our luggage to our room. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Great bed and we will definitely return.

Spent a night with my partner. We were super disappointed with our stay despite good reviews. The room we had was so warm overnight and air conditioner kept switching off. We had a dog continuing to bark multiple times above us throughout the night. Parking was very limited. Only good thing was a comfy bed

A local hotel which is always a great staycation option on extreme hot days. They are always welcoming to giving early check ins and late check outs during less busy times. Has an excellent level five fun level of a kids room, arcade room and Mario kart Wii room. Great food at mint lane restaurant too.

A high quality Hotel, would definitely stay here again. Exceptional cleanliness, comfortable King Size bed, lovely room, helpful staff in a quiet location with parkland nearby and the sound of Cockatoos outside. The tram stop immediately opposite gave easy access into the city and the on site restaurant and bar were very welcome after a busy day. With heavy luggage a lift to all floors made for easy access.

I really can’t fault my stay. I chose Element so I could bring my dog. The room was lovely, big king bed. All the doggy rooms are along one hallway on the ground floor, so you don’t feel bad if your dog barks here and there as you’re surrounded by other dog loving guests. Happy hour in the sofa area is lovely. I ordered room service, pasta and tart, and both were delicious. The staff were lovely. Even the coffee made by the barista was spot on (my pet peeve is hotels who don’t have properly trained baristas!). The only thing that didn’t appeal to me was the restaurant. It has tile floors and feels more like a cafeteria- fine for breakfast or lunch but really lacking ambiance for dinner, especially compared to the beautiful lounge area nearby. It feels cold and hard. I chose room service for that reason. I will definitely be back! Just

The location was convenient for our stay as it was only about 5 km from my son’s home and this and the fact the Grand Prix was on and other hotels were out of our budget was the reason for choosing the property. Our original room was totally wrong for our needs. We were placed in a room catering for disabled patrons. There was no shower screen, water from the shower went everywhere including all over the toilet, and the floor was a slipping hazard. This was rectified the next day by a lovely female duty manager who arranged to move us to another room and we appreciated the speedy resolution of our complaint. I would like to add that the housekeeping service during our stay left a lot to be desired. Basics like tea & coffee were not replaced at all, I had to ask for toilet paper and tissues to be replaced, and on some days, the cups and glasses were not cleaned, towels were not replaced and rubbish was not removed. We paid a premium price of $2233 for 7 nights twin share accommodation and it was a disappointing experience overall. The beds were clean and comfortable though.

Element is okay - nothing wrong with it, nothing great about it. Staff are slightly brusque, but efficient enough. On my first stay, the front desk couldn't find my payment for the room (booked online, directly through their website), so I sat at reception for two hours in the late evening waiting for them to figure it out as they repeatedly asked me to pay them again. Also although it'll be sold to you at the front desk, it feels impossible to sign up for Marriot membership - their website and systems seem ancient. Give it a try, and you'll spend a frustrating 30 minutes going in circles online (check your email, enter your email, check your email again). Twice in my most recent one week stay, no towels were left in my room. I only stay here for work, which it's fine for - tram stop right outside, relatively close to everything, desk and powerpoints in room.

The staff were very helpfull, when I called to let them know I would be checking in late. The room was tidy. The bed was so comfortable and the blackout curtains were that good, that I woke up at 8:30 am and thought it was like 4am.

The stay was for medical reasons so our activity was confined to the Element and Epworth Freemasons. The food overall was largely Asian origin so we didn't use that facility. The absence of English Breakfast tea in the morning - well!! The bed was very comfortable but my wife thought the room was a little small - that could be because we were confined there for quite a few days.

Check-in was speedy once I found the entrance. Was late night but it wasn’t very well lit or signed from outside. Room was in good condition, but couldn’t work out the air conditioning to get it to a pleasant temperature. It just went from very cool to very hot. Pillows are very comfortable, but I found the mattress too firm so struggled to sleep.

Hotel staff were lovely. The facilities are getting a little rundown. Air con in room was not working however I was moved swiftly and provided a compensatory gift. A good stay but could do with some uplift in the rooms.

The actual room was pretty good. I like having kettle as well as coffee maker so the tea doesn't have that coffee tang. The check in process and check out process was good and staff in that area were good. Where they really let themselves down is the food and the service of the food. The breakfast buffet was OK, but dinner was brutal. Menu never changes for the whole time I was there, to get a waiter to take an order is a work of art. When they eventually (and I mean eventually) take the drink order, it was a 15 - 20 minute wait, and having to re ask where it was before that arrived, the food much longer. The food quality at dinner was poor and per above comment, the service was dreadful. The actual people were polite and nice enough, but clearly no proper training - no one comes back to the table to see how food is. I refused to pay for part of my food as it was not edible. They made some shoestring fries that were so soggy and full of grease - a real shame as the front desk people were nice, the rooms good and the location great too.

A high quality Hotel, would definitely stay here again. Exceptional cleanliness, comfortable King Size bed, lovely room, helpful staff in a quiet location with parkland nearby and the sound of Cockatoos outside. The tram stop immediately opposite gave easy access into the city and the on site restaurant and bar were very welcome after a busy day. With heavy luggage a lift to all floors made for easy access.

pleasantly surprised. the room was very clean and in good condition. it's a very good hotel for this price range. it was convenient for me to reach meetings in hawthorn and richmond. staff were very freindly and helpful. will stay here again.

We had a wonderful 5 day. The desk staff organized our disabled parking and we were free to come and go. The underground parking allowed us to easily transfer our luggage to our room. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Great bed and we will definitely return.

The actual room was pretty good. I like having kettle as well as coffee maker so the tea doesn't have that coffee tang. The check in process and check out process was good and staff in that area were good. Where they really let themselves down is the food and the service of the food. The breakfast buffet was OK, but dinner was brutal. Menu never changes for the whole time I was there, to get a waiter to take an order is a work of art. When they eventually (and I mean eventually) take the drink order, it was a 15 - 20 minute wait, and having to re ask where it was before that arrived, the food much longer. The food quality at dinner was poor and per above comment, the service was dreadful. The actual people were polite and nice enough, but clearly no proper training - no one comes back to the table to see how food is. I refused to pay for part of my food as it was not edible. They made some shoestring fries that were so soggy and full of grease - a real shame as the front desk people were nice, the rooms good and the location great too.

A local hotel which is always a great staycation option on extreme hot days. They are always welcoming to giving early check ins and late check outs during less busy times. Has an excellent level five fun level of a kids room, arcade room and Mario kart Wii room. Great food at mint lane restaurant too.

The stay was for medical reasons so our activity was confined to the Element and Epworth Freemasons. The food overall was largely Asian origin so we didn't use that facility. The absence of English Breakfast tea in the morning - well!! The bed was very comfortable but my wife thought the room was a little small - that could be because we were confined there for quite a few days.

I really can’t fault my stay. I chose Element so I could bring my dog. The room was lovely, big king bed. All the doggy rooms are along one hallway on the ground floor, so you don’t feel bad if your dog barks here and there as you’re surrounded by other dog loving guests. Happy hour in the sofa area is lovely. I ordered room service, pasta and tart, and both were delicious. The staff were lovely. Even the coffee made by the barista was spot on (my pet peeve is hotels who don’t have properly trained baristas!). The only thing that didn’t appeal to me was the restaurant. It has tile floors and feels more like a cafeteria- fine for breakfast or lunch but really lacking ambiance for dinner, especially compared to the beautiful lounge area nearby. It feels cold and hard. I chose room service for that reason. I will definitely be back! Just
