The room was a good size and very clean. The reception desk and bar are only open very limited hours. The check-in time is very late - 5pm, and our room was only ready a few minutes after this. You have to explicitly request your room to be cleaned (if you can catch the receptionist!). On the plus side, the location is excellent, there is lots of free parking, and the breakfast is really great. We would stay at this hotel again.

Check in is through a computer outside the front door…restaurant/bar was not open on a Monday evening, breakfast buffet was not replenished within a 30min time span….overall very computerized, yet clean and nearby the castle and town…and free parking with easy access!!!

This is a good inexpensive hotel. Close to everything good parking a nice bar but no restaurant. We didn’t try the breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A short walk to the château and the centre of town and very flat walk no hills. However if you are expecting luxury this is not the hotel for you. I would definitely stay here again. It is a great basic hotel and well worth the stay.

Nous avions demandé deux oreillers supplémentaires, qui ont été mis à disposition très rapidement — un bon point pour le service. Le cadre est calme et sécurisé, parfait pour un court séjour. Petit bémol cependant concernant la literie, un peu trop souple à notre goût, ce qui n’a pas permis une nuit totalement reposante. Peut-être à revoir à l’avenir. Location was very good. Self check in was ok. A little time consuming. Parking very good. The room.. dog urine on the floor. The carpet had obviously been cleaned but it was still wet and smelt very bad. There was no one in reception when we arrived and so unpacked and did our washing. We were offered another room but by that stage we had completely unpacked. No other compensation was offered. Or apologies.

Nice and very conveniently located close to the Chateau and restaurants. Free onsite parking is a plus. Breakfast is simple (continental breakfast), but better than other comparable chain hotels. Rooms are somewhat small but fine for a couple of days. One quibble is that the shower base had some stains.

Unfortunately our room had a noticable sewage smell in it but our friends room was fine. Some usual basics are missing in this hotel. No in room safe or ice around.

It was a nice little hotel. The garbage was full but house cleaning cleaned it. Mom liked how hard the bed was. I didn't like it at all. The bathroom lighting has issues because it's on the side instead of above, and the hair dryer doesn't reach the mirror in the bathroom better than that. It was a nice room.

We really liked the location, just a few minute walk from the Palace. Free on-site parking was a big bonus as well. The room was clean, looked like new, and bedding very comfortable. Now what not to like. $18 breakfast per person is too much. We had great coffee and pastries in a nearby bakery paying just $7. And the check-in was really bad. The reception was supposed to open at 5pm, but it was still closed at 5:15, with several guests waiting. Luckily we found that after 5 the check-in machine starts allowing guests in (before 5 it was saying that room isn’t ready yet, which is a small lie). One of the guests tried to call the hotel number on the reservation, but the call went nowhere. Summarizing, I would promptly had given this hotel a 5-star review if the check-in started at 3 with a person at the front desk.

Paid for the entire booking via Expedia. Received a French note right before boarding the plane so did not read it nor translated it. Got to the hotel around 1 am after arrival at 10:30 pm but realized by a helpless Expedia chat service person that the front desk closes at 11:00 pm. There was an onsite machine for checking in but after putting in my Expedia reservation number was told invalid number. Now I am charged for $255.00 for a night stay that did not happen and was turned away at 1:30 am in the morning after more than 18 hours of travel.

Got to the hotel around 1 am after arrival at 10:30 pm but realized by a helpless Expedia chat service person that the front desk closes at 11:00 pm. There was an onsite machine for checking in but after putting in my Expedia reservation number was told invalid number. Now I am charged for $255.00 for a night stay that did not happen and was turned away at 1:30 am in the morning after more than 18 hours of travel.

The room was a good size and very clean. The reception desk and bar are only open very limited hours. The check-in time is very late - 5pm, and our room was only ready a few minutes after this. You have to explicitly request your room to be cleaned (if you can catch the receptionist!). On the plus side, the location is excellent, there is lots of free parking, and the breakfast is really great. We would stay at this hotel again.

Très bon hôtel à 2 pas du château. Rien à voir avec les autres hôtels Campaniles vieillots qui existent. Les chambre sont modernes et pratiques et le personnel accueillant (attention il n’est pas là tout le temps cependant). Manque un peu de confort sur les matelas malgré une bonne épaisseur. Les chambres sont bien insonorisées. Le petit déjeuner qui est de qualité, il manque seulement des œuf brouillées et à remplacer ces saucisses fumées par du bacon Sinon tout le reste très bien, super accueil.

We really liked the location, just a few minute walk from the Palace. Free on-site parking was a big bonus as well. The room was clean, looked like new, and bedding very comfortable. Now what not to like. $18 breakfast per person is too much. We had great coffee and pastries in a nearby bakery paying just $7. And the check-in was really bad. The reception was supposed to open at 5pm, but it was still closed at 5:15, with several guests waiting. Luckily we found that after 5 the check-in machine starts allowing guests in (before 5 it was saying that room isn’t ready yet, which is a small lie). One of the guests tried to call the hotel number on the reservation, but the call went nowhere. Summarizing, I would promptly had given this hotel a 5-star review if the check-in started at 3 with a person at the front desk.

This is a good inexpensive hotel. Close to everything good parking a nice bar but no restaurant. We didn’t try the breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A short walk to the château and the centre of town and very flat walk no hills. However if you are expecting luxury this is not the hotel for you. I would definitely stay here again. It is a great basic hotel and well worth the stay.
