The water pressure was too low and there was no microwave to heat food. The fitness room was great.

No coffee makers(I always take mine), elevators smelled, no pool.

Lobby area was very inviting with calm atmosphere.Breakfast was excellent. Would have liked to been able to enjoy enjoyl the lobby area patio a little more but we had plans for this trip. The plants and bushes along the street are lovely but needed to be trimmed back. They obstruct the drivers vision while trying to leave the parking lot. All the employees were helpful friendly and smiling. Our room had two lights not working and the electric outlet by the bed would not work. I will definitely stay again. Thhave the

I like the setup in room,the workout center,pool and esp pool table. The best thing i found was fresh cup of coffee in the late evening. so accomadating. thank you

Overall everything was great, breakfast was delicious, rooms are a great size. They have a lounge area too. Only thing is the pool area is burns your eyes. Maybe open a door or a window (im guessing the chemical’s from the pool)

Good location, clean hotel! Good staff! Only one of two elevators was operational. I was here three weeks ago when the 2nd elevator broke. It was still not in service during my two day stay this time. Four Floors one elevator was a nightmare. We used the stairs to 4th floor most of the time.

We took our family for a little trip. The service was amazing, most everyone was super nice and helpful! The pool was being refinished so the hotel made arangements with the neighboring hotel to let us use theirs. Breakfast was delicious and clean and well stocked. The room did not have a microwave but it does have a small fridge. My family enjoyed the use of the pool table in the lobby each day of our stay. The complementary coffee or tea in the lobby 24/7 was also a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!

We traveled with a 9 and 18 year old. They loved the facilities. Indoor pool was great. Lobby area had games and a pool table. Great spot for groups. Breakfast was ok. Rooms were ok. Overall it worked for our group. Price and amenities were the deciding factors for us.

I liked my room was big and clean . The only thing i didn't like was the inside pool the water was too cold in there.

So the trip was good the first night cuz we got there in the dark so we didn’t see the room fully. When we woke up I notice big yellowish orange spots on the bed. Some of the sheets have red stains. So took those off the bed and slept with a sheet only. The tv kept turning off randomly when I was watching it. One of the towels even had a brown spot on it. Good there there was others. The send day when we woke up we notice a small bug crawling on me. Well when I killed it there was blood from it when I looked it up I found out it was a bed bug!!! So I jumped up and took the covers off and mattress cover and come to my surprise we found 5 more! Then when I called the manager one said “that she is not saying we brought them in but the other bed would have them” as they checked they found one and took a picture and then she asked what we wanted to do!! The other lady said we had to close 3 rooms the other day cuz of this situation! We packed up in trash bags and went straight to a laundry mat to wash our cloths and hopefully not bring them home. Never had a problem with this hotel before so I thought I could trust this hotel I guess I was wrong and still haven’t heard anything back from them!

Hotel room was dirty.

When I checked in, I noticed a child had drawn on the walls. The floors all looked...damp. I used a towel to dry them and the white towel was BLACK. There were bugs flying around so I called customer service. To top it off, there was a sewage smell while the shower water ran.

The pool was Ice cold. Brought it to two employees attn to no avail. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Room had black hair on flloor and in showers .Room was extremeley dusty.. Room had an indentation in wall as if someone threw something very heavy at it. Paint was missing in this area.Floor had warped flooring. Hilton did not do good with this motel.

The sheets had hair and stains. The towels in the bathroom were folded nicely but 2 of them had a stain and were wet and smelled awful.

Sheets smell like used and the bathroom was not clean at all, they where like 5 cockroaches in the bathroom !! It was disgusting.

For what you pay to stay here, don’t waste your money. The hotel has curb appeal, but once you get into a room, there are damages everywhere. Water damage in the ceiling, calcium deposits all over the shower, broken sink faucet with low water pressure, broken wall decals, peeling paint off the wall, slippery, greasy floors, exposed nails in from cracked drywall. Considering this is a Hilton property, I was very disappointed and will not be returning. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone if they’re looking for an adequate, cost efficient space. If I could get my money back, I would.

Pillows are very thin and flimsy. The room was very hot! T.V did not work when watching Netflix.

The hotel was very nice and "new". Two of the lights in the room did not come on. The AC unit was dripping water on the floor. One of the windows was already cracked. No drawers to put things in. No extra chair to sit on.

The black out shade was broken, would not come down all the way so we had to use pillows and towels to fill the gap. The tv also would not work. Could not get local channels.

Room had hard water and random stains in the walls, the roller curtain had tears along it's edges. Our bathroom door required a slight lift in order for the door to latch and lock. I absolutely hated the pillows that instantly went flat to about 2in in height as soon as you layed your head on them. The lobby is quirky compared to others but sadly it isn't enough to make me want to give the tru line another try

Room was not clean. Window was broken. There was obviously a spot for a sofa or chair and that had been taken out of the room. The walls were paper thin and the neighbor had a dog that barked frequently and the walls were so thin I could hear the dog drinking water. The same room argued a lot, which would not have been a problem, except the walls are PAPER thin. I dont think there is any insulation between the rooms. The bed was hard as a rock. Overall a poor experience.

My stay here is always great but the rooms could use some... upgrades.

Upon checking the lady at front desk is very friendly and quick to get you in your room. Great customer service. The lobby is very clean and the amenities they have are wonderful. When I arrived in my room it’s clean. My only complaint is all the rust stains in shower and around the shower enclosure on the floor. The remodel is the worst work I’ve seen. My room is very small and you can heard the traffic.

WiFi connection was terrible in the room. Not enough countertops and was hearing banging at 8 am from what I’m assuming is for a remodel

Great place. I have stayed at Hyatt's for over 10 years but trying Tru was a great selection. Loved that they have coffee 24/7 they also offer complementary fruit during the day. Bkfst was great with different options for different appetites. Pancakes and oatmeal were delicious. Late PM coffee on 8/2 was way too light it didn't taste like coffee they probably didn't used quantities accordingly. Ck agent with 2 different color eyes was great, however I would change the ck in speech about insidentals from " in case something is broken or stolen" to "in case something is broken or missing" because it makes you feel uncomfortable. Other than that they offered a great attentive service.

They were excellent I had a lot of delays on my flight and they accommodated everything for me even allowing me to cancel a night bc I wasn’t going to make it. And every single associate there was extremely friendly.

Quick easy check in, when brought to hotel’s attention about defects in the room, they promptly moved me to another room.

Really great service

Apparently this is a PARTY CONCEPT hotel. There was a lobby “takeover” underway when we returned to the hotel after 9 pm by a large rowdy party of adult and children. The party quickly moved to the top floor which we swerve on and these guests were running, shouting and slamming doors for the next 1-1/2 hours. 2 phone calls to the front desk failed to address the issue. They party finally quoted around midnight. The hotel staff and manager Omar were unbothered by these events and told me the hotel concept was “gathering” and this was normal. NEVER AGAIN.

Spacious room, convenient to many restaurants.

It was in a very convenient location. Check in and out was very quick and easy. The lobby was always very clean and they had a nice selection for breakfast.

The Hotel was clean. Easy parking. Lots of places to eat and shop. It was about 12 min. away from South Padre Island. Loved it!!

The hotel staff is very friendly and always willing to solve any issues. The breakfast was a winner for my whole family! We save at least 100 bucks a day just alone on not spending $$ on breakfast! Very clean and very safe!

Over all the hotel looks very nice and clean BUT for 180$ the room was so small not much storage to put your stuff the toilet is so loud their is no water pressure in the sink when you wash your hands brush your teeth it just trickles out. The bed was so hard I woke up constantly all night my back hurt so bad this morning. Breakfast was horrible . The little pancake machine they have took me 20 minutes for 4 pancakes . And they’re small and we’re not fully cooked and tasted rubbery. The breakfast people were so slow at restocking the batter. Not much options for breakfast at all . The pool is indoor and it was cold and the floor is so slippery both my husband and i almost fell from walking to the table to get a towel. A child slipped on the floor and hit the back of his head on the floor and he was walking not running. I would not stay here again. Although the property is pretty and colorful and has a pool table and family board games. Gentleman that checked us in was super nice.
