Amazing panoramic view from our HUGE balcony and everywhere on the small property. We enjoyed our very spacious, clean and well appointed room, helping our rain day to be more comfortable. We appreciated the wonderful breakfast and service with farm to table eggs (made to order option) and also the convenient wine dispenser by the glass on site. The location was good, being away from the crowds and noise of town, but allowing us to still walk down to restaurants and the ferry…not needing to use our car. A very positive experience overall. The only negative is no food on site, besides breakfast, but our kitchenette certainly helped.

Wonderful hotel with the best view. The lovely owners make their own olive oil and produce from their orchard. Rooms are large and town is a 10 minute walk. You are nestled in a peaceful oasis with the best views. The self service wine is delicious (you get a card that charges you) and sitting on the verandah area is perfection. I don’t ever remember a better value place to stay.

Newly finished rooms in very good condition and very accommodating staff, nice views of lake from dining area. Breakfast was very good. Excellent stay if you have transportation/car to come to property if you are arriving by ferry do talk to staff to somehow arrange transfer of luggage as Bellagio has no taxis and it will be painful lugging large bags up the hill all the way from Ferry terminal. All the staff was very helpful throughout our stay.

This was an awesome property. Good daily breakfast, cooked to order. Self serve wines were a bit pricey but a nice touch. Was easy walk to Bellagio for food, etc. Beautiful views of lake.

Kan vara bra att veta att det är en bit att gå från Bellagio upp till boendet. Tar ca 15 minuter och är mycket uppför med dålig trottoar. Men är fullt görbart 1-2 gånger om dagen! När man väl kommer upp till boendet är det rent magiskt! Helt otrolig utsikt, bilderna gör det inte rättvisa. Tyst, lugnt och helt underbart! Fräscha rum, trevlig personal, bra frukost. Det framgår inte riktigt i beskrivningen; men du kan beställa en enkel måltid på kvällen - chark och caprese. Dessutom finns en "vin-maskin" där du kan välja bland ett antal viner och 3 storlekar på glasen (provning 1,5 euro, halvt glas 6 euro, fullt glas 9 euro). allt registreras på ett kort som du sedan betalar för vid utcheckning. This place is amazing. They are going above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The room and bathroom was huge (we had Iris room) and it had the most amazing view to the lake and the hills. The breakfast was delicious and made with products they cultivate or raise there. 1000% best place ever. Great parking also and only a 10 min walk from the ferry and the center of the town.

Perfect place to stay when exploring Lake Como. Left car in free parking and walked into Bellagio and ferry terminal to visit other villages! Short walk to local beach. Views from property of the lake were out of this world! We had family room with large washroom and beautiful outdoor seating area! Breakfasts were plentiful and included products locally produced on their property! Delicious freshly baked breads, farm fresh eggs and fruit, farm produced yogurt and honey! Host very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you! A must stay if visiting this part of Italy!

The good: beautiful views, very clean and spacious, breakfast service is very good The bad: the main reasons for not getting 5 stars are—(1) half the mini blinds are broken, so even though we had a view of the lake, you only see through half a window; (2) no skin lotions or replacing of coffee/tea in the room; (3) the walk down to Bellagio is close, but very dangerous. There is no walking path on the first 100 meters of the main road, then a small shoulder with car driving about half an arms length from you. Make sure to bring a light at night so cars can see you. You can opt to walk through the Melzi gardens, which means you only walk about 100m of treacherous road, but then you get the amazing garden (at 10 euros a person to walk through!)

Very friendly, helpful, clean place, the room was very spacious, clean , good quality linens and towels, beautiful spacious bathroom which unusual in Europe but made us feel home, we had a patio with outstanding gorgeous view, the breakfast was excellent quality all home made and fresh products, 10 min walking distance from bus station and 15-20 min walking to the town I would strongly recommend this place

Super lækkert sted med den smukkeste udsigt, dejlige rene værelser og gode senge. Tæt gåtur til Belllagio centrum. Er sted vi helt sikkert vil besøge igen. Morgenmaden var så lækker med hjemmelavede marmelade mm. Klart en anbefaling.

We stayed 3 nights, wish it could have been longer. We booked the lake view double room and it was perfect, clean, comfortable, bed was king size and had a pull out sofa. Small dining table and a kitchen well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and the ladies were very pleasant and attentive. Close to Bellagio but yet far enough that it’s peaceful and quiet. Cannot wait to return.

The view from the terrace is incredible. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming! Beware, it is quite the walk uphill from the main strip!

Wonderful hosts and family. A beautiful property and an excellent location. The views are to die for. Quiet neighborhood yet close walking distance to town, resturaunts, shopping and ferry. Would definitely return. We had the Giglio room which has a walk out patio to the most unbelievable views.

The view is unreal from our suite and the terrace. It’s clean, comfortable and convenient with kitchenette and washing machine. Breakfast is delicious. Mary and the staff are so nice and helpful.

Stunning views and great location -- 5 minute walk to town. The property feels tranquil, idyllic and romantic. Breakfast out in the garden felt like you were in a movie. Fun perk: a wine dispenser that functions almost like a high-quality, choose-your-own-varietal vending machine. We stayed one of the lower level rooms (the big apartment). Very clean and tons of space -- it could have easily slept a whole family. The room finishes, while updated, are a little unrefined and don't match the quality level of the rest of the property. But overall the property is unique and fun, and staff was helpful and very accommodating. Great for couples or families.

Great place with a fantastic owner/staff. The huge room was phenomenal with a great view, huge bathroom/shower and breakfast was top notch. Note that they DO serve light food options at night (which I somehow missed) and this is helpful because it is a bit isolated. Pretty long walk into town and back with lots of elevation so if you have any health issues be aware that you will need to use a car/cab/bus. I probably would not have minded as much if the weather was cooler but just note there are lots of steps in/around the main town area.

Fabulous apartment with a breathtaking view. Mary was so kind and Luigi’s breakfast was fantastic including fresh eggs from their chickens. The view, amenities and referrals for dinner were spot on. Will go back.

This place was fantastic! Check-in went smoothly (they have specific times which they will communicate. They served us cold water while we waited for friends to arrive. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are also very large. Bed was comfortable including the sofa bed. Room had A/C which was needed during our hot summer weekend. The breakfast was amazing, so fresh and good variety. The furit and honey was the best we've had in a long time as it's very local. The town is a 10 minute walk down the hill with great food and boats to rent. All-in-all, we would definitely recommend.

Overall had a wonderful stay here at Agriturismo Il Colle. They were very accomodating and made us feel welcome every step of the way. The only downside to this hotel is the location - there is a large hill to get from Bellagio to the hotel. But other than that you fantastic views of the lake and the surrounding area, free breakfast, clean rooms, and more. Highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The staff were so knowledgeable of the area. The gave us recommendations for eating at local restaurants. Giacomo made a tasty omelets for my husband and I. The food is organic and most vegetables, jams, breads, all made at on sight. The view of Bellagio and surrounding area is stupendous! Mary is a gem! We will be back!

The good: beautiful views, very clean and spacious, breakfast service is very good The bad: the main reasons for not getting 5 stars are—(1) half the mini blinds are broken, so even though we had a view of the lake, you only see through half a window; (2) no skin lotions or replacing of coffee/tea in the room; (3) the walk down to Bellagio is close, but very dangerous. There is no walking path on the first 100 meters of the main road, then a small shoulder with car driving about half an arms length from you. Make sure to bring a light at night so cars can see you. You can opt to walk through the Melzi gardens, which means you only walk about 100m of treacherous road, but then you get the amazing garden (at 10 euros a person to walk through!)

The property says it is an easy walk to the promenade, but walking there was treacherous. You walk along a busy one-way road that has a very narrow pedestrian walkway. The hotel is an upward climb from the promenade. The property did not have any indoor common areas to relax in — you were either in your room or outside. We had a light drizzle in April and were confined to our room. While the facility is pleasant, we will stay in town on our next visit.

Great place with a fantastic owner/staff. The huge room was phenomenal with a great view, huge bathroom/shower and breakfast was top notch. Note that they DO serve light food options at night (which I somehow missed) and this is helpful because it is a bit isolated. Pretty long walk into town and back with lots of elevation so if you have any health issues be aware that you will need to use a car/cab/bus. I probably would not have minded as much if the weather was cooler but just note there are lots of steps in/around the main town area.

Amazing panoramic view from our HUGE balcony and everywhere on the small property. We enjoyed our very spacious, clean and well appointed room, helping our rain day to be more comfortable. We appreciated the wonderful breakfast and service with farm to table eggs (made to order option) and also the convenient wine dispenser by the glass on site. The location was good, being away from the crowds and noise of town, but allowing us to still walk down to restaurants and the ferry…not needing to use our car. A very positive experience overall. The only negative is no food on site, besides breakfast, but our kitchenette certainly helped.

This is one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever stayed. The room was very large with a beautiful patio overlooking Lake Como. The breakfast was large and amazing serving foods from their own private gardens. Mary and her staff are outstanding and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Don’t miss a chance to stay here! The area to eat breakfast is also a large porch overlooking the lake. It’s about a 15 minute walk into town. The peacefulness and seclusion of this spot was a nice break from the busyness of Bellagio during the season.

What an amazing find! We loved our stay at this beautifully located hotel. The views were fantastic, the bathroom was huge: not your typically European bathroom (we had the suite), the service great and the breakfast wonderful. We loved the homemade items, the amazing honey and of course the service! I must say, this is a hotel that will require lots of walking up and down the steep hills. If you are not physically fit and want to walk to the waterfront, this may not be the place for you. We are in our early 60's but do exercise everyday, so, the walk was a bit challenging, but we were okay. The views and the overall experience was amazing.
