The Host and his staff of this property are simply the best I have ever come across, noticing details are what makes the difference, night one there was only pillow on the bed, we like 2 so we used the cushion from the chair, next day without saying a word 2 pillows on the bed, my Wife had left her book on the side by the bed, next morning a book light placed for her to use if she wanted, unfortunately she suffered with a load of mosquitoe bites, the guy went into Amalfi town to the chemist and bought her antiseptic cream, unbelievable! The view from your private terrace is great, Sunbeds, Table and Chairs and Sun umbrella all there. The property is very modern and has only 5 rooms, bathroom is nice with really posh taps and the shower is very refreshing. The Breakfast was expertly prepared every morning by Geraldo himself, and his lovely member of Staff Josephine ( who makes the most amazing omelettes), freshly bought rolls, locally baked cakes, and as much coffee as you want, it’s all there for you. Geraldo also ran us into Amalfi town in his own car on several occasions. He and his staff seemed genuinely interested in giving his clients a great Amalfi Experience, and that’s certainly what we got staying in his great little hotel. Just one thing to note, if you are unsteady on your feet unfortunately this is not the place for you as there are quite a few steps to negotiate, it didn’t bother us however and Geraldo even had a local neighbour carry our bags to our rooms !

Staying at Villa Orleans is like joining the hosts family. I was so well taken care of all the way from luggage service, valet service, personal accomodations, breakfast service to checkout. The owner is a respected member of the Amalfi community and you won't regret your stay here.

This hotel was amazing, the staff was so incredibly nice and welcoming. They treated us like family when we went there, special thanks to Gerardo and his wife, and Josephina. Such incredible and generous people! Definitely check this place out if your staying in amalfi, the pool was so relaxing with a very pretty view.

Our stay at Villa Orleans was the highlight of our trip! Everything here is perfect. From the room, to the view, to the home made breakfast and coffee each morning- you cannot ask for a better experience. Gerardo is incredibly kind and a wonderful host. The location is perfect- a short walking distance from all major attractions and a very convenient bus ride away if that’s what you prefer. We will 1000% be back with our families. This is the place to book, don’t hesitate.

Stayed 3 nights

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Villa Orleans. The location is a bit out of the way from the hustle and bustle but that’s why we chose it. Gerardo was very helpful and accommodating and drove us into town on some days and there’s a very easy city bus to take back to the villa after dinners and excursions. He also picked us up from the ferry when we arrived. The rooms were modern, quiet, very clean. Beds a bit hard (we like soft beds). The breakfast was delicious with many different options (it was my favourite breakfast throughout our whole holiday!). The pool was quaint with the best views. I highly recommend staying at Villa Orleans. This was a highlight of our trip.
