We loved this place although it might not suit everyone. Rural location in very small but quaint French village. Room was quite basic but clean and a comfy bed. A kitchen is available with kettle, toaster and microwave. Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Perfect Gite type accommodation. Nathalie was very welcoming, a very interesting lady to talk with whilst practicing my French! I was travelling with my dog and she was made very welcome too. Parking is directly outside the gite, the location is very beautiful. We had the use of a lovely dining room / kitchen and a separate bedroom. Very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

A very spacious and private room, set in lovely quiet enclosed gardens with an outdoor table. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. It was a wonderful place to spend a few quiet days in a home-from-home, where I could catch up with work and sleep in peace. There's a separate dining room with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker for guests to use and supermarkets within a 15 minute drive, so you can prepare your own meals. The downstairs rooms are dog-friendly, and the garden is perfect for them.

It was peaceful. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, especially about finding a meal in local towns. Breakfast was very limited but good. Bread,butter, jam and good coffee. I would suggest charging a bit more and putting on ham, pastries and cheese. Enjoyed it and would return. Tom. Also dog friendly.

Great stay, room was lovely and really comfy bed. Both the room and bathroom had heating so even in December it was nice and warm. Nathalie was a great host :) - I was able to use the microwave and cutlery etc to warm my dinner as I was exhausted after a long ride. I had to leave by 7am so she left me coffee, toast, and lovely home made jam so that I could have breakfast before I left. My little dog and me felt right at home. Thanks again :)

Although the landlady did all what was possible, the description on Hotels.com of the accommodation offered was highly misleading. Firstly, it is not a hotel, so the reservations are not monitored, and thus our arrival at the doorstep of the house was completely unexpected. Despite the system accepting a booking online, you need to ring to check if anybody is home. There are simple rooms available in an annex building, which are basic (eg. no TV, or other comforts), it seemed suitable for summer accommodation. Locating the property involved driving around unlit & narrow country roads, knocking on doors of very kind neighbours. A somewhat challenging experience, but the landlady certainly put a smile on our faces with her friendly character.

We were in the annex - very good but very basic. No TV. Breakfast was bread and jam - sliced brown only one day but had own French Bread. No restraunts nearby so brought food in to eat at night.

Nous n avons pas du tout aimé l accueil qui nous a été réservé. Madame exige en insistant de mon fils de 4 ans fatigué avec son doudou qu il enleve sa tetine pour lui dire bonjour. Mais pour qui entre se prend celle là? Mon autre fils de 2 ans aime bien manipuler de petites choses. Ce sont ces petits trésors. Je lui avait donné le tour de cou avec nos clés. Elle la repris de force de ses mains. Madame vous n'êtes pas leur grand mère. Et quand je le lui fait remarquer elle me repond que je peux partir si je veux. La chambre n'est ni sale ni vraiment propre. Mon fils a fait tomber une balle sous le lit. Il est allé en dessous pour la récupérer et est revenu le tshirt couvert de poussière. Un établissement qui pour moi ne devrait pas exister ainsi à notre époque … Chambre d'hôtes oui ce n’est pas un hôtel, je le conçois, mais là il y a du travail de remise en état et surtout un sacré coup de nettoyage à faire ! Avec de la bonne volonté la grange pourrait avoir du potentiel. Propriétaire rustique mais en soit sympathique on est à la campagne 😉. Accès aux chambres par un chemin de terre et d’herbage. Petit déjeuner très sommaire café, thé, pain et confiture voilà même pas un petit jus de fruits. Pas de produits d’hygiène dans la salle de bain et aucun équipement. Point + bonne literie ✅ En tout cas, ça ne vaut pas du tout le prix demandé. Dommage de laisser un tel commentaire, mais je pars du principe qu’il faut être informé et ne pas être déçu en arrivant à cette adresse.

The hostess was very rude and shouty, telling me I didn’t have confirmation for booking and that I should ring her directly to confirm booking. If I didn’t have two young kids and hadn’t already paid I would not have stayed. She made my family and I feel very uncomfortable. Soap / hand wash etc was missing from bathroom, I had to ask for towels and she made me feel as if she was doing me a favour. I had to put on the pillow cases, not enough loo roll. Hairs found in bed. Lights above sink didn’t work ( hard for husband to shave), no bracket to hold shower head. Breakfast was extremely basic, bread ( supermarket baguette), jam, butter with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. No juices or yoghurts or pastries. Overall a disappointing stay in a place that, with some love and happiness could be wonderful.

We really enjoyed staying here. A staging post on a longer journey from the UK to central France, the owner very kindly welcomed us despite the very unsociable hour,.thanks to a Le Shuttle delay. Owners were welcoming and accommodation was above average, but sofa bed was uncomfortable and the duvets were not adequate for the time of year, whilst pillows were rationed. No soap was provided and the toilet paper ran out with no replacement roll. Breakfast was basic with simply toast and jam to accompany coffee, but worst of all the owner claimed she had no change when I came to pay, so I had to overpay by 5 Euros!!!

This was our first night in France on a short tour of the DDay beaches etc riding our motorbike. We were greeted by a very friendly lady and her husband who had a love of motorcycles. We spent a little time looking at his collection and later looked at the memorabilia of his time racing motorcycles. It was the most peaceful nights rest we’ve had for a while and a great start to our holiday. The lady also recommended somewhere to eat about 20/30 mins away and the meal was delicious. Looking forward to book here again.

Séjour d’une nuitée en hiver. Dans le gite, seule ma chambre est chauffée, mais que depuis peu car tout rayonne froid, alors qu’on me dit que la chambre est chauffée depuis toute la journée… La déco, pour le peu qu’il y a, est très basique et sans goût. Le lit est moyen. Îl n’y avait pas d’eau chaude et j’ai laissé couler… longtemps. Donc pas de douche le matin. Il n’y avait pas non plus de savon dans la salle de bain, juste une petite serviette. Alors pour le petit déjeuner : un café imbuvable, du pain de mie, du beurre et un peu de confiture (achetée). Et c’est tout ! Ah oui, l’accès depuis la cour (non carrossée) au gîte est boueux en hiver. Même pas une petite allée. Et la dame se vente que des personnes de la moitié de la planète ont passé chez elle. Certes je veux bien le croire, par contre je ne suis pas sûr qu’ils reviendront. Moi en tout cas, elle me reverra pas ! A éviter pour un séjour professionnel.
