Savoy Hotel Mactan Cebu near Newtown Beach

Affordable and clean. Perfect location

The pool area has no lounge chairs in the pool or on the patio, the pool floor has the same pattern and the stairs are hard to see. Breakfast was good over all but the coffee station doesn’t have baileys for coffee, champagne (after 11am) for mimosas, tequila, or tequila sunrise or many to any breakfast drinks. Room service was inconsistent with what they took care of. Sometimes I had clean towels sometimes I didn’t sometimes I had coffee sometimes I didn’t etc. The thermostat was so faded out. I had no idea what the temperature of my room was set to. The thermostat was not accommodating to foreigners given it only portrayed Celsius, and not Fahrenheit. Room service did not address with maintenance that the towel rack in the bathroom was broken. Instead of getting this address, they threw fresh towels on my bed. Not the most tech savvy person, but the TV was incredibly difficult to turn on and off. My impressions of this hotel was OK and not exceptional don’t feel I would consider staying here again.

Oh this place was awesome. Breakfast had pretty damn good cebu breakfast. Absolutely great. Rooms were nice. Wasn’t a fan of the way our bathroom door opened. The door was in the way of anyone getting in and was a bit awkward. But overall was a solid stay. The elevator wont let you go to any other floor in except the one you’re currently on. Was a little unnecessary and annoying if you have another room you have family staying on and you can’t go up or down even a single story/floor to go visit their room. It’s because of “safety” because of foreigners?? Whatever! Had a good time anyways!

En lidt blandet oplevelse. Meget sødt og hjælpsomt personale, men de lovede ting blev bare ikke udført. Vi klagede over lugten i vores køleskab, og de lovede at skifte det, men det skete ikke. Der lugter meget indelukket både på værelserne og i gangen. Tomme glas mm blev ikke fjernet ved rengøring. Værelserne var meget små.

Loftet var ved at falde ned på badeværelset, dårlig rengøring, men ellers sødt personale
