O tiago .Brasileiro que trabalha no hotel foi de uma delicadeza e amabilidade fora do normal..Foi super atencioso e nos deu dicas preciosas sobre passeios restaurantes e tudo mais .. o hotel tem uma localizacao otima Spa muito bom e cafe da manha excelente .. pode ir sem pensar .. voltarei com certeza

L’hôtel est joli et le petit dej très bien. En revanche plus de place au parking quand nous sommes arrivés, personnel pas du tout accueillant au check in ainsi que beaucoup d’attente. Côté piscine, les 3/4 des casiers ne fonctionnent pas et j’ai un gros doute sur les 26 degrés annoncés. Côté chambre, simple vitrage, et pour mettre le chauffage il faut faire plus d’1m85 pour pouvoir l’allumer.

C’était pour nous un séjour plein de belles surprises, et cela a commencé dès notre arrivée : un accueil souriant et un grand professionnalisme. Je tiens à remercier Chaïma d’avoir fait de notre séjour un véritable rêve. Pour les amateurs d’art, l’hôtel est un véritable bijou — chaque recoin regorge de pièces décoratives signées par des artistes, un vrai régal pour les yeux. Nous avons également testé le restaurant La Petite Cuisine : du service aux plats, tout était parfait. (Petit conseil : ne passez pas à côté du vin blanc de La Folie Douce, une belle découverte !) Seul petit bémol : le parking à 25 € la journée, un peu excessif, surtout pour les résidents.

Spend 3 nights with family. Beautiful and fun hotel. Lots of food options and entertainment. Ski shop for rentals and ski passes is a huge bonus. Few min walk to downtown village and all the shopping and restaurants.

I loved the hotel, the atmosphere, the look and feel. The breakfast was amazing. The SPA was a bit dissapointing, steam out of order and too crowded

まず、悪い批評から。 スパホテル、ホットタブの記載があったので楽しみにしていたが、これに関しては星は0どころかマイナスを付けたい。 外の29度しかない低温水プールと、小さなサウナ2部屋、ハマム蒸気サウナとトイレは故障中、更衣室もシャワーも簡素で汚く、男女共同で鍵もかからないので、基本、部屋で着替えからシャワーまでするデザイン。市営プール以下のレベル。 スキーリゾートホテルなのに、ジャグジーやホットタブも無く、スパはエステルームがあるだけ。 非常に残念なスパ設備。 ホテル自体は新しく改装されており、若者がスキーリゾートとしてナイトライフを楽しめるホテルになっている。 ただ、防音は皆無で、隣や廊下の音はかなり煩い。スキーシーズン中は、外のピザレストランやバーがオープンするそうなので、夜中までクラブレベルの騒音が想像出来る。小さい子供連れ家族なら、ホテル正面の部屋は避けたほうが静かに寝られるだろう。 窓枠も古いままで塗装をしただけなので、隙間風も相当あり。 ホテルのロケーションは、町のはずれの山側に位置し、景色は最高だが、電車や長距離バス停からのアクセスは悪い、タクシーも場所柄高額。 自家用車やレンタカーアクセスでも、駐車場は有料。 良い評価は、レストランやバーエリアでは毎晩歌手とダンサーによるショーが開催され、とても楽しめる。 地下には、有料だがピンボールやビリヤードが楽しめるゲームコーナー、カラオケルームも完備。 ラウンジからは、モンブランの山脈が一望で、1日中過ごしていたいほど快適である。 朝食は、非常にレベルが高く、種類も豊富でクロワッサンもサクサク、フランスパンはイマイチだったが、バターは他のホテルでも見たことがないブランドで、非常に美味しかった。 自動コーヒー機のコーヒーは香りが無く不味かったが、お茶系はBioで美味しかった。 夕食も朝食会場と同じレストランで食べたが、カジュアルレストランでお値段もリーズナブル、サービスも料理もお値段以上で大満足。 モーリシャス出身のシェフがいるそうで、味付けスパイスがニンニクやハーブを効かせていて激ウマだった。 襷に短し帯に流しの典型的なホテルであるが、比較的若いスタッフのサービスは高評価である。

Fantastic hotel.The wooden deck on the front Bar needs to have some work done on it . Having ski shop and every hotel guest gets a locker for ski gear is great setup. Can hire all ski gear right in the basement of hotel. Would stay again

Great ski-in/ski-out option for families and those looking to party alike. My only criticism is that the pool area needs an overhaul. The pool was freezing and the Hamam is falling apart.

The lady at the front desk was very helpfully All the rooms were very clean the food and the buffet was very nice. I do like the decor of the hotel. However, the gym was a little on the dark side. Most of the lights on the ceiling were not working. The steam room was not working. also that was just the only few negative and disappointing.

The hotel is very busy. We stayed for 3 nights in a family room (1 king-size bed and bunk beds). Breakfast at as amazing, it is a very close to town centre and has amazing views. We did have 1 issue with the cleanliness of the bed sheets, noticeable brown stains on sheets while getting into bed. This was reported to reception immediately but it was nearly 30 mins before someone came to us and by that point we were changing the sheets ourselves. We approached reception again the next morning and they apologised and stated they would do something to make this up to us but never contacted us again. Also, when we arrived, we had to wait about 30 mins to enter the car park as although email confirmation had been received the hotel wee unable to find that we had booked parking which is in a public carpark next to the hotel. The pool is very safe and clean but there is a slight shortage of sunbeds in the later afternoon. The bar area/ outside soace is fun and lively but can be accessed straight if the street so is often very busy.

Très bel hôtel proche du centre-ville, tout peut être fait à pied: rue piétonne à moins de 10min, gare du Montenvers à 10/15min, téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi à 20min. La chambre Premium 2+1 est suffisamment grande pour 3, et l'aile côté Brévent est un plus pour être au calme. Buffet petit-déjeuner de très bonne qualité avec un très grand choix. Parking payant (24/25€ par jour), mais il vaut mieux le réserver, ce qui n'est pas précisé dans la fiche de l'hôtel, car le nombre de places est limité. Au pire il y a le parking St Michel à 200 mètres. Personnel très accueillant.

Fantastiskt hotell med bra läge i staden och nära till kabinbana till vandringsleder i bergen. Väldigt trevligt med mysiga sittplatser både inne, ute och vid poolen. Superbra frukost med mycket att välja på. Dock fick vi påminna flera gånger för att få nya handdukar och mer toalettpapper, då vårt rum inte städades.

Personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående, men duschutrymme och toalett på rummet var inte fräscht utan det var mögligt och dålig ventilation i rummet samt mycket lyhört. Bra frukost!

Rummets standard stämde på inget sett med beskrivning och hotellgradering i Hotels information. Rummet var oerhört slitet med repiga och smutsiga väggar och möbler, våtrumstapet som började släppa från badrumsvägg och heltäckningsmatta full med fläckar. Rummet hade unken lukt och framförallt stark lukt av mögel från badrum. King Size säng bestod av två enkelsängar man ställt ihop och lagt ett gemensamt lakan över. Ena sängen hade trasig bäddmadrass med en stor grop mitt i sängen till följd. Fönstren blev ständigt immiga av kondens då rummet var så dåligt ventilerat. Vi vände oss till hotellet och önskade avboka med återbetalning alt byta rum men blev nekade. Vi vände oss då till Hotels som lovade hjälpa oss med kontakt med hotellet men återkopplade inte (trots ständiga påtryckningar från oss) förrän vår sista dag. Väldigt överraskad över att Hotel ger en sådan missvisande beskrivning av ett undermåligt hotellrum och sedan vägrar hjälpa oss avboka med återbetalning och även hävdar att det är vårt ord mot hotellets trots att vi har bilder vi gärna delar för att visa rummets skick.

July 9/9 2023 Hotel is close to everything yet quiet as a heck.i slept with the windows wide open.. Clean. Glad i booked here Haute Route and climbed hiked TMB trails. Place is great

Stayed here in Aug 2023 and the weather was 33”. No aircon in the rooms and the rooms are tiny and claustrophobic and the heat was stifling also Had the smallest shower and toilet I’ve ever seen. Asked for a fan but was told unavailable. Hotel common areas are georgous and it’s in a great location. Lovely hotel let down by tiny rooms.

Overall the hotel is nice but could use some improvements. The beds are terribly uncomfortable and so hard. The staff was lovely but limited for certain services. Suggest putting more support to bellman, concierge, etc vs maybe your nightly entertainment. Spa needs a complete upgrade, I would call the sauna, lockers and pool area a Spa at all. Lastly, the loud base from the music nightly till late into the night was a bit aggressive. We were on the 3rd floor and could hear the base. If we would have been a floor lower we would have had to move rooms. You have a great location and nice hotel, just needs some upgrades and fine tuning for sure.
Overall the hotel is nice but could use some improvements. The beds are terribly uncomfortable and so hard. The staff was lovely but limited for certain services. Suggest putting more support to bellman, concierge, etc vs maybe your nightly entertainment. Spa needs a complete upgrade, I would call the sauna, lockers and pool area a Spa at all. Lastly, the loud base from the music nightly till late into the night was a bit aggressive. We were on the 3rd floor and could hear the base. I guess I should have expected this to be a party-focused hotel, but I was hoping we could have the option of being insulated from the partying if we so chose... not so much. Onsite restaurants and bar are lively an noisy with shows going on all the time. Huge patio/terrace in front of the hotel which seems to gather a large proportion of the town for apres-ski. Rooms are not well insulated from the noise outside, so beware if you want to call it an early night, you may not have the option to. Our room (small but expected) was extremely humid and we couldn't get rid of the humidity. It opened on the slopes... and a slopeside bar which played music pretty loud, thankfully not late. The pool is cool, the gym is nice, you have to make reservations for the spa. Shower worked well, so did wifi. Double bed is in fact two single beds side-by-side which tend to drift apart. I guess I wasn't totally in the target market for this specific hotel, but I can see why people less focused on skiing and more focused on partying would love it. Definite pros: ticket retrieval machine and ski shop in the hotel itself. Very close (walking distance) from the center of town including shuttle stops to the various stations.

Stayed at this hotel for a family trip to Chamonix. Unfortunately, the hotel is not child friendly. If you are taking your children there, make sure you book rooms for them in advance as if they are adults, otherwise you could be in for a nasty price shock at check-in. For example, they won’t allow a young child in a double room with her parents. You would need a triple room. If you have 2 adults and 2 young kids, a triple room is not sufficient according to their unwritten rule, so you will need to pay for a quadruple room or two double rooms. The performances and amenities are mostly intended for adults. There is an age limit of 16 for swimming pool and spa. Lots of adults walking around the hotel in white towels. When it comes to rooms, they are typical of a hotel room, except for the following: 1. Very poor lighting to the point I couldn’t do packing at night. 2. No AC and it can get hot and humid in the summer. 3. No privacy between shower and sink with only a transparent glass wall between them (another poor choice for a family with kids). Upon arrival, the slippers provided didn’t look clean. The sink was not clean either with a stain on the side. On the positive side, this hotel has a nice view of the mountains and can be great for adults and night life. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was single or had no kids in company. It’s relatively quiet and away from the busiest part of town center.

Very over priced for an average room. Stayed for 4 nights under two bookings one for one night and one for three nights. Hotel wanted to charge late check out on the first night to keep the room until the second booking for three nights was ready. Rooms are really small, no mirrors wasn’t helpful when getting ready for a wedding. Bathroom is behind a curtain and very small. No wardrobe just a rail. Music is really loud in some rooms and the larger room typically occupied by families so you get woken up by screaming kids if there is an adjoining room next door, walls are very thin! Spa is awful like a leisure centre not what you would expect from luxury hotel. Pool is cold, no hot tube and steam and sauna always busy. Door was broken on sauna so wasn’t very hot. Takes hours to get served at the bar in the evening, also won’t serve hot drinking in the evenings! I do not recommend this hotel at all! My stay at the hotel was unpleasant from start to finish. The rooms are unbearably noisy, and it doesn’t matter which direction the room faces. On one side, there’s constant noise from the pool during the day and from the garden with the billiards at night. On the other side, the rooms face the bar and restaurant, so the noise continues all night. You can’t sleep with the windows closed because there’s no air conditioning, and the heat is simply unbearable! To make matters worse, the internal lock on my room didn’t work properly, and at midnight, someone entered my room because the reception gave them the wrong room! It was a terrifying and unsafe experience. Overall, my stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and did not meet any of my expectations.

I loved the location of the property it was perfect! However the staff were not very friendly and wouldn't be of much service to you. They would just offer you the bare minimum and wouldn't offer you a welcoming, friendly persona that you should have when staying at a hotel.

Unique hotel where modern decor meets historic building just up hill from town and easy walk to restaurants. IMO the modern decor doesn’t work but love location and mtn views were stunning. Our 2 bdrm suit was spacious and clean and comfortable. Staff was great except for the first woman at check in who was extremely rude. Another staff member took over for her and apologized but it was shockingly poor behavior for customer service industry. Pool was quite nice but not impressed by breakfast buffet.

This is a beautiful property and a very good location with interesting and appealing interior design. There seems to be a lot of activities going on throughout this large resort hotel. However the staff we're less than accommodating on check-in and made us wait until 4:00 p.m. when we were pretty certain that rooms were available sooner despite our Platinum status with Expedia. The breakfast buffet was good. Also we had a bit of construction noise nearby but overall a great stay

The hotel was situated in a perfect spot, we went in August, and the place is walkable across town. The hotel was nice and welcoming. Very nice atmosphere in the evenings, with the entertainment dances, kids loved it. Overall the food was good too. Would love to come back in the winter, can imagine it to be even nicer!

I like Folie Douce for two reasons: it is located right on the slope of Savoy, so I walk directly to the lift with skiis. It is in the middle of the town center - close to everything you need without getting in the car. Facility is showing signs of deterioration - typical wear and tear of a busy hotel at ski resort.

This property was a good surprise to my family. We spent 1 night here and had a fantastic time. Checkin was easy and the view from the room was of Mont Blanc. The food andd the drinks were fantastic. We ate at the Le Mayen which specializes in Raclette and we couldnt have asked for a better meal. This is a great hotel for kids with a game room and lots of activities. They provide wristbands for the entire famiky which allows the kids access to order drinks, unlick the rooms and more. I would highly recommend chosing the parking as an option. Parking is limited and if not selected you will need to use the nearbybpublic parking.

We stayed at the La Folie Douce Hotel while Chamonix was mobbed by ultra athletes competing in the 2024 UTMB ultra marathon, so the room prices were sky-high. We paid much to much for a very small dormitory style room. The hotel was clean an well maintained, and the buffet breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel if the price was acceptable.

Majority of staff are amazing, courteous and very helpful. However, there is no room service, and when asking how I could get take away from the restaurant at 2100 one night they said nothing was available and couldn’t help. This was in contrast to what staff had said earlier that evening saying I could anytime the restaurant was open. Not something you’d expect from a 4 star hotel.

Loved the Folie Deuce. The entertainment and public spaces are excellent—10/10. Breakfast was great. It is also an excellent base for skiing Brevent/Flegere. But our room felt as dark and unappealing as an 80’s motel room. The sauna was crowded and the spa, in general, was pretty unremarkable/dated. I am not sure if I would stay there again, but I would definitely plan on après ski or dinner at one the restaurants. It’s the best spot in town!
