Nova Kiama

The lift access to the underground car park was a definitie plus.

Partial ocean view. Was a bit noisy because of the pub at night. Cleaners were lovely and made my daughters day when they replied to her note that she left with a joke for them. Pool was great and gym was pretty good as well. Very convenient location, we were able to walk everywhere and car park was easy to use.

Nettes kleines Hotel in Kiama. Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher. Kaffee kann man unten an der Rezeption bei einem VW Bulli kaufen oder trinken. Parkplätze vor der Tür ansonsten Tiefgarage vorhanden. Der Pub direkt nebenan ist empfehlenswert.

Parking may not be easy for big cars

The hotel was excellent, very clean, comfortable and perfect for what we needed. The location was also spot on, a five minute walk to everything. Having a pool was also great. A big thank you to Julia, the lovely receptionist who was friendly, informative, and had a big interest in 80’s music 😎. Five stars all round 😊

Very good accommodation with garage parking. Close to the Kiama blowhole. It was operated by one staff managing the reception, attending to guests' needs, and the repurposed VW cafe in the lobby. Housekeeping staff are very friendly.

I liked the Gym and pool areas and the cafe was convenient for a quick coffee. The room was small but still comfortable.

I booked the hotel because the pool look nice on the picture but the pool was closed.

Parking was easy, we opted for parking on the street however the parking internally was 2.8-3.4m which is great for a large 4WD

Simple room with basic storage. Small but adequate bathroom. Shower is rain shower head only. Tissues not supplied. One towel was badly stained with makeup and the other was quite threadbare with a hole in it. Staff were polite and apologetic. Entirely adequate and suitable accommodation in a central location.

My room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was clean. Building is modern and very convenient in the middle of town. Near the train station and short walk to the harbour and blowhole. However room had only small balcony opening into interior light well so no view of anything. Fridge had no freezer compartment so couldn’t freeze bricks for esky. Two person room but only has one chair so second person has to sit on the bed. On the plus side, they let us plug in our EV in the car park.

Arrival staff were excellent and made our stay. Room was nice a bit pokey and a view would be ideal.

Under expectations because we had a kitchen but no table and chairs to sit at if we cooked a meal. Outside balcony also with no table and chairs. Very limited hanging space. Car park very tight.

Good location, near to eateries. Even though the room was clean and well set out , it was a bit small and the bed was like concrete.

Good location. Clean room. Quite small - not great for spending time in but nice if you just need a place to sleep. Some amenities in the room were frustrating, eg no full length hanging space, only three hooks in an open cupboard to hang any clothes at all, only one chair to sit comfortably, the design of the bathroom makes the entire bathroom wet when you use the shower.

Great place to stay in Kiama, easy walk to everywhere. Lovely, helpful and friendly staff. Parking is great too. We've stayed twice recently and will definitely be back.

Nova Kiama accommodated my need to check in early due to a wedding I had to attend. The staff were so easy to deal with & lovely.

Highly recommend! Clean and well maintained room. So close to everything. Park the car and leave it. Loved the easy walk to town centre, restaurants and tourist sites. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again.

Seemed understaffed plenty of people waiting to check in because of the one person on reception was running between the food van and checking people in. Room was small with no chair to sit on at the desk. A solitary stool was provided, too bad if you have a bad back. The only other piece of furniture was the bed. Disappointed considering the price of the room.

Great location, incredibly helpful staff. Had an issue with the air conditioning and they were able to fix the problem in no time. Will definitely stay here again my next time in Kiama.

Check in experience was excellent. Room was OK. The worst experience was that the room temperature was set at a very high temperature and there was no option to control the temperature. I went to reception and spoke about it and she said that it is fixed and there is nothing we can do. She offered me a table fan, I said there is control panel in the room and why we can't set it to our desired temperature. She said, we can't do it, you can open the door to cool the room. I said we can't leave the room door open and sleep. She said, she will bring the fan in my room, I waited for half an hour but she didn't turned up, again I went to reception as there was no phone in the room, to ask for fan, she said she is coming in 5 minutes. Finally after 15 minutes she came with a small portable fan. It was so warm inside that even with fan we could not sleep until 3am, then i opened the balcony window and we were able to sleep for 3 hours. At Check out a different lady asked me how was our night, I explained her about our bad experience and she also said the same story that in winter we set the temperature to heating mode and in summer we set at cooling mode. We can not change it. I said everybody is different so there should be option to get the desired temperature in room. I know nothing will happen. Very disappointing experience.

Nice facilities, easy to walk to the beach and blowhole area, surrounded by restaurants, everything is convenient.

Great location

Convenient to the town, walking distance to surf beach and Kiama’s famous “Blowhole”. This hotel is also an easy walk from the railway station.

Super convenient location and was the perfect stay for a weekend in Kiama. Check in and out was super quick and easy.

Lovely staff. Clean room but it was a little small for our liking. Could walk to shopping, restaurants and the ocean. Close to rail station so you could travel by public transport from Sydney.

Great stay, the building is very new..great location right next to the train station. The Grand Kiama pub is next door, good pub food and drinks. We caught the train down and walked to the Nova Kiama. Extremely clean room and facilities. Great stray.

We had a wonderful stay at the Nova Kiama the room was excellent with an added bonus of a large balcony together with tables and chairs. It took literally 2 minutes from the train station to get to the hotel and 5 minutes to the beach and restaurants. There was also a lovely coffee van available by the main reception for all supplying light refreshments A big shout out to the florist and beautiful.gift shop too....

Everybody was so lovely here, especially Julia at reception. The hotel was clean, comfortable and modern. Only downside I would have to say is for a hotel without room service or a restaurant it would be handy if they had cutlery/playes for people who have to bring their own food to eat if they don’t want to eat out every night. Great location within walking distance to beach, playgrounds and cafes/restaurant/pubs. Blowhole is just up the hill and some great markets/2nd hand clothing markets around. Pool and gym were very clean and a nice relaxing courtyard outside. Would stay here again for sure!

Great place in a good location. Very clean and courteous staff. The kombi café downstairs was convenient for breakfast.

Great location! Room very nice with comfy bed and lots of fluffy towels. Laid back beach feel with coffee truck in lobby (reception doubles as barista) and sparkly clean pool.

Nova Kiama is an adorable modern property that offers great access to the Kiama town center and the main attraction of the Kiama Blowhole. We were able to walk only 5-8 minutes down the street and see the blowhole. It also offers an adorable little coffee and pastry food van in the lobby, a beautiful flower shop and had a clean pool and sunning area.

Well located to all the popular spots and a great “cafe” concept in the foyer. Not only a good selection of snacks but good coffee with great prices.

Nova Kiama is very convenient and affordable. With a cute little cafe at reception open until 7pm for those who like a really good coffee or hot chocolate. Only a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants. Secure parking is included. Rooms were reasonably clean and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again
